Constraction reviews in Silver Spring, Maryland

We needed gutters replaced, they were here the next day! Great service & quick turn around. A personal + they’re bilingual!!

Great job and great company . Tino and the crew finished the roof on time and did a great job. So happy

Needed a new roof for my 10x16 shed. Tino showed up the day after I called, gave me an estimate that was more reasonable than the others I had been given, and had the project completed in one afternoon within a week. His workers did a clean expert job that both looks great and was expertly done. Thanks, Tino.

Tino is great! The crew arrived on-time and completed our roof installation in one day. I am very happy with the result, and they did a great job cleaning up after.

If I could give more stars I would! Tino and his wonderful crew did an amazing job. They communicated what was going on and were so polite in answering all my questions. It’s hard finding an honest crew and that is exactly what they were. They gave me a fair price not compared to the others I talked to. I recommended him to my neighbors.

VT Contractors Inc (Tino) was very professional, arrived at agreed upon time, showed me roofing material samples and gave me a very fair estimate. Once the estimate was okayed VT Contractors completed the add on roofing, cleaned up mess and suggested/provided a handyman to repair and paint an area within my home. I will be working with VT Contractors to replace the roof on my house. YES I would definitely recommend VT Contractors!

Amazing work! Provided excellent customer service and talked each step with me! I felt like I was in good hands and had nothing to worry about! Definitely will be referring to my friends and family!

I highly recommend hiring VT Contractors for any service needed. They did a wonderful job changing my roof. It was an easy process getting in contact with them and if I had any questions and/or concerns they were very responsive. I have recommended them to family and friends. Please give them a call!

I had my entry door installed through VT Contractors they did a great job! They were also very understanding and patient as the door I had ordered had yet to be delivered due to being delayed for a couple of weeks. Would definitely recommend!

They did a beautiful job. They patched a big hole in my roof created by squirrels. After they were finished you could not even tell they were there. I would use this company again anytime and I would also recommend them anytime.

My experience with VT CONTRACTING was amazing, they stayed consistent in their work and help explain and answer any questions I had, they repaired my roof and were fair in their pricing! The contractors were also really nice and made me feel confident in their work! Would recommend!

I can't say enough good things about VT Contractors. They were patient and walked us through the process with roofing and gutters. They were there exactly when they said they did an excellent job and left the property clean of all debris. They have the best price, professional service, and bilingual. I definitely get them back for my next project (windows).
I can most highly recommend them.

VT fixed two areas of my slate roof that were leaking and causing damage inside my house. They also repaired wood siding on the house with more durable PVC. They were very responsive and easy to work with. Tino gave me a quote the day after I called and the work was done the next week. I would recommend them for roofing and exterior work.

Tino and his team did some repairs to our roof and ceiling last week. They were timely, polite, and appear to have done a great job. They also are honest and charge a reasonable price. I recommend them!

After a major storm caused significant damage to my home, VT quickly stepped in to handle the roofing and siding repairs. Their team was professional, efficient, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. The quality of work exceeded my expectations, and everything was completed on time. Highly recommend for any storm-related repairs! Thanks guys!

Just had my siding and gutters replaced and I’m honestly so happy with how everything turned out! The crew was super professional, showed up on time, and got the job done quicker than I expected. The siding looks clean and modern, and the new gutters are working perfectly—no more water pooling around the house. It really gave my home a fresh, updated look. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality work and smooth service!

VT helped me diagnose some drips coming into my attic from a 20-year-old roof. Then they re-shingled spots, sealed protruding pipes and replaced rotted beams. Cleaned up nicely. I also appreciate the consistent communication and quick availability. Great company and when I eventually replace my roof, they will be first on my list.

Sorry to jump in with all of the other Five Star reviews for VT Contractors, Inc., but we were recommended to them by some nice person on our List Serv who had used their services. We had a complicated project involving replacing T-111 panels on the back of our rental ADU near the property line They got permission from the neighbors to put up ladders to the second floor of the unit while they replaced siding, removed trim between the first and second floors, removed the squirrels' nests after they had gnawed through the trim and built nests, installed new siding and trim and covered the trim with metal flashing, stained the entire wall, and installed a cover for our heat pump line up to the second floor. Their price was reasonable, their service and communications were spectacular, and the end product looks great. NO MORE SQUIRRELS! I highly recommend their services.

I called to have my siding/trim and soffits wrapped. I didn’t think to have pictures of the work I needed. Jordan was great. She sent me a gentle reminder when I forgot. Then went out of her way to get me quickly scheduled. Work started 5 days later. Tino and his crew were great. They worked quickly and professionally. My house looks better than ever! Thank you all so much!! You’ll be the first company I call again!

I was most impressed with Tino Contreras and his company VT Contractors. My deteriorated original garage siding needed replacing but unfortunately the original siding was recalled and is no longer manufactured. There was none on the current market that closely matched the original. A special order was made by Tino through ABC Supply for closely matching siding to be manufactured by CertainTeed. This took a lot of time and patience by all involved. On 11/3/25 the siding was delivered and installed by VT contracting. They did a beautiful job taking down the rotten siding, installing the new siding and painting it. They also cleaned up perfectly.
At the same visit, VT contractors replaced the rotten wooden trim on my house attic gable window and painted it.
Tino was there, constantly supervising and assuring a wonderful job. Everyone was very friendly-I couldn't be happier!

Our experience with VT contractors was excellent! From the beginning the communication was spot on. Tino, the owner helped us pick out the best shingles within our budget. He took the time explaining the differences between the shingles, as well as the process of replacing the roof. He and his team worked efficiently and throughly, finishing the job ahead of schedule from the original estimate.
They where respectful of our property and took measures to protect our plants, outdoor furniture and deck. When they were done, they tidied up thoroughly , leaving not a spec of dirt. We are so grateful for the great job that they did, and we highly recommend to anyone looking to fix or replace their roof.
