Constraction reviews in Silver Spring, Maryland

This is an excellent 5 star company.
Mr. Castro is very reliable, punctual and professional. He takes pride in his work. He gets the job done efficiently and correctly. Everything is explained clearly and is written in a contract. We highly recommend Castro Roofing. These highly rated reviews are all accurate. This is the first time using this company, and if I need them in the future, I will call on them again.

Castro is is very efficient, skilled and professional. I would definitely recommend them to replace your roof. Very impressed

I used Castro Roofing to repair leaks in two different locations. On each instance, Armando responded to my call and surveyed the leaks before making the repairs and submitting a quote. I like how Armando communicated the extent of the problem and repair of the leaks. On each occasion , the diagnosis was correct and repairs completed consistent with the quote and repair plan. Most importantly, the team came on time and stayed until the repairs were completed. He also contacted me after subsequent rainstorms to verify the continual success of the repairs. I would use Castro Roofing again and highly recommend his services to other owners.

Hands down the best experience I have had with a roofing company. I was terrified of the large potential costs roofing companies could levy on me given my lack of roofing knowledge. But they were fair and transparent. The work was done quickly and customer service was excellent, I would definitely recommend Castro Roofing to anyone looking for professional service!

The roofing was great, and I'll keep my comments below. But there turned out to be some damage done to my HVAC system while they were installing the roof (a clear roofing nail in the Freon). I asked for Castro Roofing to submit it to their insurance for review. They've largely ignored me and my requests. I'm quite disappointed, because I had liked the company and people that worked there.

Castro Roofing was professional and accommodating. They took the time to explain options and benefits of different solutions. They didn't nickel and dime me and instead provided details so I could make informed decisions. The roof looks great. The team was considerate and quick, with an attention to quality that was apparent in the types of questions they asked me about the installation.

I had a great experience with Castro Roofing DMV. I meet with three different roofing companies and their estimates fell in the middle. The attention to detail and knowledge about the job sold me immediately with Castro. They invested a lot of time in the job even before I decided to go with the company. Not only was the work of the highest quality, I felt we were collaborating on my house in a meaningful way. Communication was consistent and reliable throughout the process. We have had a lot of work done since purchasing the home and I will definitely be using Castro Roofing in the future!

Replaced a skylight and inspected the others. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the right size. The price was fair. The job was done excellently and in a timely fashion. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Castro roofing. Contacted 3 different companies for a fairly simple job removing and AC unit from a roof and changing gutters. Other companies tried to make it more complicated to get more money out of it. I had my doubts about Castro roofing because they did not have as many reviews, but Alfredo was great, they called me the same day I submitted the estimate request, came the following day to check on the job, that same day I got the estimate, as soon as we were ready to move forward they scheduled us right away. They were quick, careful and clean while doing the work. They did an amazing job. Highly recommend them.

Just want to share my sincere gratitude for Alfredo's above and beyond support. We woke up yesterday in a really tough situation with a roof/roof patio leak in our townhouse that was going through all four levels, and the company who installed the roof patio said they couldn't come out for another 48 hours. Meanwhile, water was coming through the walls and filling buckets in our living room. Everything we tried wasn't working and were desperate for help, so I just started calling roofers near me. Alfredo was the 5th roofer I called and the first to say he could do a same day visit. He was over within the hour and immediately deduced the problem. He cautioned me he shouldn't fix it because it might void the warranty from the original installers, but he provided guidance on what to do to in the meantime, and we were able to temporarily stop the leak until the original installers can come look at it. His care and attention to quality and service is something I rarely experience these days. Alfredo totally saved us, thank you, Alfredo!

I initially hired Jaime to do some electrical work at my house. He did such a good job and I mentioned to him I needed some other work done as well. He arranged drywall, tile, and paint for my basement remodel and everything turned out great. He also connected me to someone who did plumbing and hvac work at equally high quality. His prices are competitive and he had a sharp eye for small details that needed to be completed in order to pass inspections. I have since referred Jaime to several of my friends.

RJ Remodeling helped us very quickly repair and finely paint finish areas of our home that had wear and tear or damage (old ceiling repairs needing surfaces blending, window casings with wood shrinkage, wall surface smoothing). The refinishing blended old and new surfaces invisibly. Cost quotes were competitive and accurate. Work was professional - all areas protected, materials and waste removed, and cleaned afterward. RJ also has electrical repair skills that were very helpful - non functioning light switches, 3 way switches, and LED ceiling lights were quickly repaired. Highly recommend! Patrick / Liz

RJ Remodeling remodeled two bathrooms in our precious house, one bathroom in our new house, built a wall unit, installed a window in a wall, installed a larger new window in the kitchen. All the work was done with care and they cleaned up after each days work. We are very satisfied with all our renovations. Thank you Julio.

Very attentive to detail, great workmanship and professionalism. I was very satisfied with the work Santos did for me. Look no further if you need their service.

every project I have SGA remodeling Do has been an excellent experience. Most importantly, I can trust the people doing the work and their honesty

SGAs team came out to take a look at our outdated 70s kitchen and bathroom. We received a fair quote compared to other contractors. Glad we went with them, they showed that they cared for their work and professionalism. Now we can say that we have a top notch kitchen and bath. Would recommend them for any remodeling needs.

Santos is an honest and trustworthy contractor. He did a great job evaluating our issue and remedying it proomptly and for a fair price. Highly recommend!!!

I cannot say enough about Santos. He is the most professional contractor I have ever worked with. We hired him to build a detached two car garage. He was quick to come and look at our project as well as giving us a proposal. He always answered my calls or texts quickly and answered any questions or concerns we had. He made multiple visits to our house to address any of those concerns. We unfortunately were not able to complete the garage because of restrictions from the city that neither of us had anticipated. We were so disappointed and Santos was so understanding and refunded our deposit minus anything he had to lay out for such as the architect fee and permits. I had heard what great work he does and would highly recommend his company. I hope to do work with him in the future. You don't need to look any further if you want a reputable contractor.

Santos and his team are magnificent. They are flexible, prompt and have a great work ethic. Their team did a large HVAC Reno for us and were flexible in adjustments and additions to the project. They arrived promptly and completed early. They have a great warranty even if I haven’t had to use it.

SGA Remodeling removed the back portion of the upper level of my house and built a shed dormer that extended my usable space, allowing for a new bathroom, walk-in closet, sitting area, and relocated utility room. They provided the estimate and details of the work, and I was very pleased with the crew, workmanship, and responsiveness throughout the process. Any problems that arose during the project, they corrected. I lived in my house during this renovation project, and this company was very respectful. I strongly recommend SGA Remodeling and plan to bring them back for another project later in the year.

SGA Remodeling redid our bathroom, installed recessed lighting in our kitchen, and made drywall repairs. Santos and his team were professional, prompt, kind, honest, respectful, and absolutely delightful from start to finish. They were also great problem-solvers, helping us think through our needs and proposing possible solutions. They were also very reasonably priced. We will definitely use SGA remodeling for any future home improvement projects; we could not recommend them more highly.

Santos and his team at SGA Remodeling did an amazing jobs doing some major renovations at my house over the course of a few months. After getting several quotes from general contractors, SGA Remodeling was very reasonably priced and came with many recommendations from previous clients. Santos and his team showed up everyday and did an amazing job on the work while cleaning up after themselves everyday. The work on the house included fixing a leak in the foundation, adding a half bathroom, turning my unfinished basement into a separate 1-bedroom unit, creating a kitchen, installing new floors, repairing a staircase, and countless other things. I couldn’t recommend Santos and SGA Remodeling highly enough!
