Longview Services billed me for work they never did. The owner is argumentative and obnoxious. The technician and the owner were on the phone arguing and work was NEVER done. They billed me anyway.

I would like to express my deepest disappointment and dissatisfaction in the service received by Longview Services LLC, specifically a man named Dennis. I contacted 2-10 with the hopes of fixing a habitability issue regarding my water heater and instead we experienced a nightmare. I am 32 year old recent law school grad that was blessed to start a family recently. We moved into our new home and experienced issues with our water heater after it working properly for a good while after we purchased the home. We experienced only cold water coming out and contacted 2-10. They assigned the job to Longview Services. A man named Dennis runs the company and seemed ok at first. He scheduled for a technician to come out and assess the issue. He ultimately found the water heater needs replacing. Dennis had someone replace the water heater while I was not home because of work. I took pictures of the finished job and sent it to a plumber I knew. The plumber said it was ok work but they still rigged the job and did not install some things correctly. We then noticed gas smell in our basement coming from where the water heater was located. The city came out and shut off the gas due to a gas leak from a pipe connected to the water heater, which left us with no hot water and no heat. We immediately contacted 2-10 to have them come out and fix the job or to correct the issue from the water heater. Mind you we are in Maryland where temperatures are reaching below 20 degrees. After getting the run around from 2-10 and back and forth about how I shouldn’t have to pay for someone to come out again because it was their mistake, they finally sent Longview (Dennis) a notification to schedule a technician to fix the issue. I sent Dennis numerous messages and tried to call him to come out as soon as possible because the weather was freezing. He said he was pretty busy but could come out that evening. I waited and he never came. He scheduled to come the next day (morning) but never showed up. I called him several times, left voice messages, and saw that he read my messages but was not responding. I called 2-10 to which they called him and he answered for them telling them he was going to schedule an appointment with me yet again to come out but never did. I finally gave in and told him that he’ll have to answer to God, and that is when he texted me back and said he would have someone come out to assess the issue. The technician Marvin came out and found the leak in the water heater meter area. Marvin then said he would need a part to change the meter so the gas leak would not occur. So the next day comes and I call 2-10 who says they are waiting for Dennis to submit his report so they could see if they can approve the fix. Several days (if not longer) of me calling 2-10 and Dennis begging for him to submit his report , I had to carry boiling hot water up flights of stairs in my house, experience boiling water burns to my stomach due to this, and I received no answer from Dennis and Longview continued to change the required time for him to submit a simple report from 24 hours to 48 then to a whole whopping week! He finally submits the report after a while and it is now another issue on waiting for parts to come in for him to get a technician to come out. Fast forward (because it is more of the same days and hour long phone calls trying to get 2-10 to find Dennis or do something about the issue) we finally get Dennis to come out but wait, the same technician comes out with no parts and no idea that he was supposed to have parts. He came and did the same thing he did last time. He tightens up the pipes and say there is no more leak. I am baffled by the unprofessionalism and lies and miscommunication and mismanagement and misinformation from both 2-10 and Dennis. I have a 6 month old baby and I am lucky to have survived the burns I experienced. This is not the full story but this surely will not be the last you hear from me and my family.

I want to thank Longview for having Marvin and his colleague Hosea (sorry if this isn’t his name) for doing an amazing job on replacing my sewage pipe! The service was great, they worked quickly, and they cleaned up after themselves. Marvin was very nice and explained everything to me. They did amazing work and if I need anything else, I’ll definitely call Longview!

I was referred to Dennis at Longview Services from my Home Safe (Armis) insurance after the initial company the referred me to couldn’t make it same day. The plumbers he assigned kept getting delayed at other jobs so didn’t get to me until 10PM but the security gate wouldn’t let them in at that hour. They were at my house the next morning at 8:20AM and worked for three hours but couldn’t fix the problem. Dennis then promised to send a drain specialist but he was not able to fit me into his schedule. Finally he sent someone who fixed the problem in 5 minutes. I really appreciate how Dennis hung in there with me and actually kept me in the loop with phone calls or text messages. This is so important when you are waiting for help and no one returns your phone calls. He was on top of things all the way through and followed up after the job is done. He was a pleasure to deal with and I would request him again for plumbing work. Customer service goes a long way.

I hired Longview Services for a plumbing repair at my home and was really impressed. The tech showed up on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, gave me a clear estimate, and completed the work the same day. Everything’s working perfectly and they left the area spotless. I’d definitely use them again.

I would definitely recommend this company to whomever need plumbing, electrical are the two services I've used thus far. The technicians were polite, knowledgeable, professional, and extremely skilled in their craft. They cleaned and cleared any debris involved in the repair as well leaving the area where repair took place emaculate. Don't sleep on Longview Services when you need work done that they render for they offer A-1 service!

I've rented a condo in Laurel for 10 years and about 7-8 years in, my landlord started using this company. They have replaced the floor, installed and fixed appliances, repaired cabinets, fixed leaks--including removing mold, replacing drywall and ceiling fan, and painting. Once when someone was there fix a leak from my tub, he had to access a valve behind through my walk-in closet. Something seemed odd about the closet when he left, and then I noticed he'd fixed the bar on one side of my closet that had fallen and hung up all the clothes that had fallen under it.

Dalibor has been a huge help to us as we bought a 1960s house and which needed a lot of updating. We met Dalibor and his team as we started with a bathroom renovation and immediately were impressed with his honesty and how hard working his crew was. Since then we have done multiple bathrooms, bedrooms as well as the basement and he is our go to for any home renovation. Whether it is something as small as painting or a complete gut and renovation, we have always been happy with Dalibor and his team. I have also referred Dalibor to numerous friends and colleagues who have all worked with him since and had great things to say about the experience. I would recommend Dalibor unreservedly and will continue to use Dalibor for all future projects.
