Based on a recommendation from the contractor I've used for 20 plus years, who has worked with Cycle on a number of residential projects, I contacted Rudis Sanchez at Cycle Heating and Cooling about installing two new A/C systems in our home. Throughout the process, from our initial call to showing me how the new system worked, Rudis was thorough and professional. He also solved two problems that other HVAC pros couldn't or wouldn't deal with. The first was replacing an air handler that had been enclosed after installation into a room with a pretty narrow door. Others had told me that they would need to cut open the wall and/or remove the door and its casings, both of which would have required extensive repairs. Rudis was able to source a smaller unit, but one with the same output as the larger one, and replace the original without any damage to the door or walls. He also found a way to install two new condensers on the roof without hiring a crane, which is expensive. Rudis and his 3 man crew were able to remove the old and install the new condensers using ropes and a long ladder, which was one more way in which he showed his skill and ingenuity. Overall, I could not have been happier with the service, price and professionalism of Rudis and his crew.

Rudis from Cycle Heating & Cooling is wonderful. He was competitively priced with no overhead like the bigger businesses. He replaced our 20+year-old furnace and CAC with a new Bryant system.

We had Rudis and his team replace both of our air conditioning units, one in the basement that cools the first floor and one in the attic for the second floor. Rudis came highly recommended and it proved to be true. Last summer, he fixed a recurring problem with condensation and water buildup in my AC unit, installed insulation and a UV unit. When the UV appeared not to be working, he returned and replaced it for free with a better unit. I had no problems after that. So now it's my turn to recommend him highly.

The prices are very competitive the they use quality systems and are very profesional. After I contacted them Rudis came to check and explained what needed to be done and 2 days later my system was replaced. They work clean made an excellent job. Ever since COVID-19 hit two-plus years ago, there has been a dramatic increase in price gauging from many larger and dishonest HVAC companies, including General Contractors in Maryland. It was the last draw. I decided to hire a family-run business. I’m delighted I did. Rudis was readily available and was able to diagnose my three years old HVAC system problem quickly. While a previous contractor tried to charge me for four pounds of R-410a refrigerant at an alarming outrage cost, Rudis stated I only needed a pound and a half. He is a friendly, honest and approachable individual. He clearly explains what the issue is and provides recommendations. His services are reasonably priced. Keep up the excellent work! Can’t say enough good things about Rudis. He was fast, super helpful, very friendly and reasonably priced. He saved us when our A/C was going out in 90 degree weather. Would absolutely use his company again and recommend their services.

I’ve used Cycle Heating and Cooling twice since moving to Silver Spring. Our AC went out early in the morning and I did what all of us do… went to google. I prefer small businesses or at least local/family owned. After calling Rudis, he came right out and quickly diagnosed the issue. Within an hour of realizing our AC wasn’t working, Rudis had it working and went ahead and serviced it since he was here.

When I wanted a mini split installed, Cycle was the only company I was going to call. He was able to fit me in his schedule 2 days later and did an amazing job. It’s very neat and he left the area cleaner than when he arrived.

I support small business owners as much as I can. I’ve grown tired of using those national companies that set you up for “service plans”. You never know who’s coming to your home and rarely see the same technician twice.

I just moved in to a new home and had a few questions about our HVAC system, and why one of my smart thermostats wasn't receiving power. I called Rudi and he stopped by the very next morning with the intention of just doing a quick, free diagnosis. In less than an hour, he had all he needed to take that extra step to get the job done, and at a reasonable price in the end. Beyond the thermostat, he clearly answered the other questions I had regarding our system and made some suggestions for how we can best maintain it going forward. Very responsive and friendly, and great service. He'll be my #1 call for HVAC needs.

Rudi did a great job replacing my entire system. He first came over 3 times to help me get the old system working but it was just too old. And he would not charge me for those visits. Installed new system (in under 6 hours) for a good price.

Rudis and his team did an excellent job - we hired them to install a whole new air conditioning/heating system. I am very pleased with the work and glad I reached out to him. He was responsive, on time and delivered excellent results. We couldn't be happier with his work. If you need an entire AC/Heating system installed, don't hesitate to call them.

We worked with Rudi first to replace a water heater in 2023, and then to replace an AC and furnace in 2024, following a recommendation from a friend. Rudi is very easy to work with - providing good advice, very reasonable quotes, and delivering on time and without any problems for both jobs. Definitely recommend!

Rudi provided excellent service at a great price. He came to my house 30 minutes after calling around 8pm because my ac unit stopped working. He diagnosed the problem and quickly fixed it at a competitive price. I appreciated that his team wore shoe covers to keep my house clean on a rainy/muddy day. Highly recommended.

We read very positive reviews of CYCLE, and here's another. Rudis is the best imaginable. It was a case of instant trust with him, so we hired him to replaced an elderly air conditioner that had completely stopped and were more than pleased at the service and treatment we received. Rudis does go out of his way to keep in constant touch, did a clean quick installation and we could afford the cost. No one could ask for better service and I am so so glad to have found him.

Rudi was great. He was very responsive - came over same day I called and quickly gave us an estimate to replace our central air system. After getting other estimates, his was the best. This is the greatest heating and air conditioning company I've ever had to service my furnace and air conditioner. I hope and pray, Mr. Rudis Sanchez doesn't move out of the DMV. I literally don't know what I would do without him.

He's the best!!! He services my equipment when I need it. Which is every three months. His prices are reasonable compared to the high prices I was receiving five years ago, from larger companies. I haven't had a problem with my units since Mr. Sanchez installed me a new furnace and air conditioner unit.

He maintains both of my units. He maks sure they're functioning properly, and when my filters need replacing, he takes care of that for me as well. I'm a senior citizen, and I need all the help I can get.

HVAC stopped working and Rudi showed up an hour after I called--on thanksgiving day! A few days later, he had replaced the hvac. Great service, very nice and honest. Also gave us an amazing price.
