Wow, L.A. and her team, Two Maids & A Mop are the absolute best! They cleaned my home thoroughly and went above and beyond what we expected. I would definitely recommend them for all your residential and small commercial cleaning needs. Two thumbs UP for sure!

QUITE AMAZING! The team is all about service. I have never used a cleaning service and I just recently had a few estimates. I really like the idea about the team getting paid off of performance feedback. I am a young professional that use to be able to handle all of the house when I had the free time of a student. When I began to cherish my free moments is when I became too aware of how badly I needed some help with detail cleaning. These ladies came in and detailed my home so thoroughly for hours and beat every estimate given to me from other companies. LA came by and pitched in too. I arrived home from work last night and WOW, I can actually enjoy a day off today with out having to worry about cleaning a toilet! I highly recommend and will be using them twice a month! What a burden lifted off of me! Thank you!

Last week I was lucky enough to have service from Two Maids & A Mop and the crew did an outstanding job! I specifically requested help with baseboards and a few other things that are often left untouched and they gave special attention to these things that were important to me. I wanted to also say working with LA, the owner of the company, was a great experience. She was very flexible in helping to work around my schedule and she showed up on the day the crew arrived to introduce herself and help out to make sure everything was successful. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience!

I was blown away by the level of professionalism and the attention of detail by LA and her team. I used their services for over four consecutive months and was pleased every time. It's amazing how much they are able get done - they were extremely efficient. I would definitely recommend Two Maid & A Mop for all of your cleaning needs.

Two Maids and a Mop DC has been providing cleaning services to our home over the last couple of months, and the day the crew comes to clean has become my favorite day of the week. LA Martin is wonderful to deal with, and Velvet and Elaine have been an excellent team. When they are done, old countertops and floors look fresh and shine. The cleaning is so thorough that it really restores the house. I recommend them highly. Reliable, reasonable prices, and excellent service.

Two maids was a great service. We booked them for a move out clean and they were very professional and flexible. They left the place spotless and I’m so glad we used their services!

Leighanna does a great job every 2 weeks. Very thorough and takes her time ensuring my Aunts tiny apartment is sparkling.

We were charged $200 for two employees who cleaned our house for 1.25 hours max. They once locked us out of our house by locking our front door handle from the inside, instead of locking the deadbolt with the key they used to get in. Another time they didn't lock the front door at all when they left. We wanted to support an above-the-table business but this company does not provide value for what they charge. We have found another business that charges $150 for three hours of cleaning.

My husband and I used Two Maids & A Mop for a deep clean, and they were fantastic! They were incredibly thorough, having cleaned things I wouldn't even think to clean. We were very pleased with their service and will continue to use them in the future. Would highly recommend!

On Monday, 2/17, two ladies from Two Maids, did excellent work in my apartment - they saw what was needed and handled it (smile). I highly ecommend Two Maids! M. Williams

We used Two Maids & A Mop twice. The first time went smoothly so we used the service for a move out.

The cleaning window was 8am - 11am and the cleaners arrived at 3pm. There was no communication that there was a delay or emergency. I followed up with the company and never heard anything back. This ended up effecting a move out inspection scheduled for late that afternoon and becoming a minor issue with our property management company.

Based on the issues with communication and reliability, I wouldnt recommend using this service.

We used the Two Maids & A Mop deep cleaning service for the first time today and were not disappointed. The team arrived early and did a very thorough job. We've been wanting to get our apartment deep cleaned for a while, and it made a load of difference. There are certain things we always seem to miss when we do the cleaning ourselves. Would definitely use this service again! Great value.

I booked this service for their priority clean, where I dictated specific cleaning activities and paid for a set amount of time (2 hours). My #1 priority was dusting - it was poorly done. They swept things with a feather duster, but neglected to get any ledges, nooks and crannies, and some pieces of furniture had visible lines where they brushed it once, but didn't complete the job. On top of it, instead of doing the tasks I requested, they spent time doing tasks that were not requested (like remaking the already made bed, taking out almost empty trash). Then, they left 20 minutes early when I booked 2 hours and there were still tasks to do. The company only offered to take off the price of the missed 20 minutes. Perhaps the most upsetting part is that I took the time to create a list (as requested) for the cleaners with my requested tasks. Why did I take the time out of my life to do this, send it in advance and provided a printed copy upon arrival, just for it to be ignored? It was a waste of my time, and I feel scammed that they couldn't provide the services they promised. They did offer to send another team out to finish the poor job, but I declined because the original team made me very uncomfortable, as they were whispering to each other about my apartment in Spanish while I was literally in the next room over, and it was not very polite! I was so looking forward to splurging on a nice clean home - I am so disappointed with this experience.

Really horrendous experience with this company.

First off, called and booked an apt. Ran through all the details and what I wanted cleaned. No prob, scheduled. A day later I get an email from the owner saying that the date I scheduled was actually not available and I’d have to reschedule. Inconvenient but ok. I filled out priority areas I wanted addressed, went back and forth with owner on areas and came to agreement. Two days before apt I reconfirmed areas I wanted cleaned, gave instructions on how to get into property since I would be out of town. Also confirmed I wanted the 1 hour design package for $125. All confirmed.

Day of apt arrives: I am driving out of town and get several frantic calls from the two cleaners that they cannot access the property. I have to pull over, and get 10/15 calls, texts, and WhatsApp messages that my code doesn’t work (it does). I’m trying to explain to the women they need to go to the back of the property and use the box to get the key, but instead they keep shouting my box code (in downtown DC). This communication issue stemmed from not being able to communicate in the same language, and obviously them not being told by the owner how to access the property. Finally, I get enough service that I can FaceTime them and tell them to go around the back, sitting on the phone with them giving directions. They get the right box and it works perfectly. Before I hang up they ask, what’s your unit number? EH? Having confirmed my address via phone and written correspondence 3x I was surprised, but gave it to them. I go on with my day driving in a remote area without service. Once I get back into service, I receive another text asking “what is your apt number the ladies don’t know it?”. What?? I get home expecting the house to be cleaned with the 5 items I prioritized and confirmed with the owner would be addressed (I have email confirmation that the ladies will “get it done”). I am flabbergasted with what I see. A bed re-made (it was made when I left), none of the priority areas cleaned that I asked for, terrible shower cleaning (suds and soap still left), no dusting (my number 1 item I wanted addressed), etc. I also find that they have put my apartment access code on 2 other boxes in front of the building and left them there, posing a significant security risk as anyone could see them and begin trying boxes until they got one that worked. I calmly emailed the owner (Marnie) and said, can you walk me through this? Explained the terrible communication, the terrible cleaning, sent photos, videos etc. Nothing from the owner. I then get a $225 charge vs the $125 I agreed to. I email and tell them it’s outrageous, and they respond with “they were there for 2 hours”. No they weren’t. I have a Furbo camera which indicated they were there for one hour. I asked if they would like to address any of my other issues and call the office manager. She tells me this isn’t the first time the cleaners have had this problem, that the company fired them, and that the owner would give me a refund. I then get an email back from a different manager (tip, don’t have three managers if no one can effectively manage) who says they will only refund me $100 because the ladies did indeed clean.

Bottom line: I hired this company for specific cleaning needs/ tasks, which they did not complete. In the process, they added significant stress to my life with scheduling, phone calls, frantic messages etc (the reason I hired a company was to reduce stress), jeopardized my safety by shouting my security code and leaving it on several other boxes for random people to see), and then falsely charged me 2 hours, when I only authorized one and I don’t believe they were there for two.

So the words I would associate with this company? Lies, fraud, unsafe, and terribly managed. Seems like a few other reviewers have the same issues…. Read (and believe) those.

For what it's worth, two weeks later I hired a different company to come. Easy scheduling, confirmed the items I wanted addressed, and did the tasks without any incident or issue.

We have been using two maids and a mop for over a year now and have had a wonderful experience. They always arrive on time and are very communicative if they are arriving late or early. Our apartment is always spotless and we have a dog who sheds like crazy and every single time a can’t find one hair on the ground after they are done. They are also very accommodating for rescheduling. 5 star experience!!

I have been using Two Maids for the past couple years and they consistently do a fantastic job. I am always impressed with their attention to detail and quality of the service. I highly recommend this company and love supporting a women-owned business!

I used Two Maids for the first time yesterday and was totally pleased. The young ladies did a superb job and I hope to have them again. They were prompt, hard-working, and followed all my directions. I needed special attention to some really needy bathrooms and my scuzzy kitchen floor -- after Two Maids worked their magic, all areas are sparkling clean better than they've ever been!

I have a monthly service to clean my apt. Alma and Martha did a great job of cleaning and being flexible with my at home meeting schedule (moving around rooms). All the essential areas were cleaned and they left nice touches (folds) around the apartment. This is a good service for the price and scheudle.

Two Maids DC is truly amazing! I can’t say enough good things about Karen and Mirna — they’ve been absolutely incredible when it comes to cleaning and taking care of my mother’s home. My mom has dementia, and it means the world to me that her place is not only clean and well-maintained, but that she’s genuinely happy after every visit. It’s such a relief to have a service I can trust, especially after struggling for so long to find a company that does great work and actually cares. She bursted out crying after the first cleaning.

A huge thank you to Kimberly, the office manager, who has gone above and beyond with her customer service. She’s been responsive, professional, and kind — even replying to my late-night emails right away (way beyond what I expected). Her dedication and consistency have made all the difference.

This entire team, from cleaning staff to management, is the best I’ve ever worked with. I highly recommend Two Maids to anyone looking for a dependable, high-quality maid service that truly cares about its clients.

Karen and Julia did an excellent job cleaning my townhouse. I don’t know why I waited so long to use this service, but I am very happy!
