We ended up choosing NextGen Aire to put our new Bosch heat pump system in after receiving 5 different quotes (4 different systems were recommended). Matt from NextGen Aire came out to do the analysis on the house and his quote was spot on compared to the other one quote we got for the same system. What made us choose NextGen Aire was that Matt was very friendly, courteous, informative, knowledgeable, and explained why the system would be good fit for our house. He also gave us another higher end option to choose from. It took Matt and his team under two days to get the system installed and up and running. You could tell that Matt takes a lot of pride in his work and will always do it the correct way even if it adds time to the job. We highly recommend NextGen Aire! Matt was helpful in selecting our new heating / cooling system for our home of 36 years. He was informative / knowledgeable, though every step of the process. His communication was superb. We were very comfortable with them doing the work. He only wanted the best for us! And he left the job site cleaner than he found it.

My basement had a humidity issue which attracted springtails (tiny bugs) in my house. Matt and his team setup a dehumidifier and worked it into my existing HVAC system. They also insulated all the ducts correctly to prevent the ducts/vents from sweating during the summer season.

I’m medically fragile from an organ transplant and my mother has cancer. Matt and his team work remotely and fully masked the entire time. Matt sent constant photos and videos of the work and communicated all the work in detail.

I’m very happy with the install and their above and beyond efforts. I’m lucky to have found them and I’ll be using them again in the future.

Matt came up with an elegant solution for heating, cooling and DHW. His communication was clear and timely. He and his team did a great job. Excellent project management (minimized down time) and they cleaned up after themselves every day. Would recommend without hesitation.

By far NextGen Aire is the best choice we made for our home to save money on our monthly electric and heating/cooling bills.

After years of living in a Victorian home in which there were cold spots, outrageous winter electricity and fuel costs, numerous Mass Save visits and changes to our home including new windows, we finally decided to call an HVAC professional. We found reviews and recommendations on HVAC companies. What set Next Gen apart from the rest was the owner's passion for what he does and his ability to ascertain what are the best options for his customers. Right away, NextGen listened to what our goals and needs were. Matt is a wiz with air flow. He was able to diagnose why we had cold spots. He went over the options and made a recommendation on what was best for us in our Victorian home. We chose a new gas furnance with A/C and a minisplit heat pump for the basement. NextGen put together our new home system in three days. On day two, we saw the difference. We had quieter system with no cold spots. By day three, we had AC and a warm basement. NextGen are professional and efficient. Everything was explained to us. We are super pleased with our system, and know we made the best choice for home.

Today, I had my furnace replaced by NextGen Aire. I had three technicians come fir the installation,Jack, Sean and Austin.
These guys were the epiphany of Great Service.
They were very punctual, professional, polite, patient and knowledgeable.
They explained everything to me step by step and made sure I understood what was being done.
The furnace looks great and they left the area clean and tidy.
This is my first experience with Next Gen Aire and I am glad I decided to go with them.

We had a great experience with the team from the initial discussions to the very last minute of the installation. Very happy about the whole process. Clean work, friendly team, very efficient and experienced. Great communication with email and texts on a daily basis. We installed 5 Units and 2 compressors. Highly recommended.

Sean, Jack and Austin installed a new furnace, heat pump and secondary heat pump system in my home, as well as insulated the duct work. The guys were very friendly, informative and professional. Highly recommend Next Gen! Also Lauren in the office and Jeff (the guy who gave me the estimate and helped design my new system) were awesome! They cared about helping me get a loan through Mass Save with 0% interest, and always answered all questions I had. From now on Next Gen will be my primary company to use for any heating and cooling services!

Matt and his team did an excellent job on my project. They installed mini-splits in my home and were professional, timely, clean and communicative. The office manager Cheryl kept me updated on everything and did all the work to coordinate with MassSave. I'm very happy with the finished product and the process was seamless. I've had multiple big jobs done by NextGen, and honestly they did a really great job installing and testing the equipment. I had an oil fired boiler replacement done by them in 2020, and had a heat pump installed in 2022. The actual technical work that was done was great. The removal of my old boiler and AC systems went smoothly, the new work was done well and communication was excellent.

You might be wondering now why I am only giving them two stars. Well, that would have to do with long term service and support. When actual service appointments were done, the tech always arrived on time and fixed the problem. That isn't the issue here. The problem is that now in 2025 they have "gone through some trouble" with losing techs or something and they no longer service the area I live in. So, I now have this $30,000 heat pump and $15,000 oil fired boiler system and have to find someone new to service it.

I'm sure I can find someone reputable to service the system. What really grinds my gears about this whole situation is that I went with this very expensive Mitsubishi heat pump / air handler system because it was what their techs were trained on. I trusted that it was the best choice because they would be able to get parts and service the system going forward into the future. They kind of left me high and dry and I am not happy about it.
