We hired McDonald Contracting to remodel our kitchen. Overall it was a great experience. They were professional, communicated well, and were very responsive to our questions and requests. I am extremely satisfied with the work McDonald Contracting did for me. They were one of only 3 (out of 8) businesses to either get back to me and/or offer a time frame of doing the work relatively quickly as opposed to waiting at least 6 months. They were also the most reasonably priced. It wasn't a big job - replace the bathroom ceiling which was damaged by a cracked pipe in the condo above me, repaint the walls & ceiling, buy & stain a new door, and install new flooring in the adjacent hallway. They communicated with me almost every day about who was coming and when to expect them and were responsive when minor problems arose. I would highly recommend them.

Eddie and his team at McDonald Contracting are so wonderful to work with! They have done a handful of projects for us, most notably our kitchen renovation, and we have been so happy with their work and professionalism. They did everything with our reno: removed a wall to open up our kitchen to the family room, added a beautiful custom island and dry bar area that we got to design, new lighting, counters and painting. They were even able to reuse our old cabinets seamlessly so we could save some money, and kept the house clean and organized throughout. I immediately felt comfortable with and trusted each worker - to the point where our dog even got excited when they showed up! Eddie is super attentive, responsive and just a pleasure to work with. He is honest and fair and dealt with my (many) last minute changes mid-project with complete patience and understanding. I recommend McDonald Contracting to anyone I know and will certainly have them do work for us again in the future!
