I approved of the work Indresano does so much, that when I moved he came with me. Not only are they roll up their sleeves type of employees, but they have a great way of communicating with both my wife and I. The recommendations about seeding, planting and seasonal flowers have always made our home stand out and I am thankful for their hard work.

Indresano has been doing my landscaping and Plowing for years. This year, we used them to redesign our front yard, replacing woodchips and undesirable bushes, laying sod and trimming our trees. They do a great job and are reasonably priced relative to other options I have found.

Pete, Matt, Jenn and Company were fantastic in transforming our plain, boring yard into a welcoming outdoor escape. The attention to detail, the communication, the quality of work and expertise are second to none. Not only did they provide so much of the design and labor, they also helped manage other vendors to ensure that all of our needs were met and the project was completed.

After interviewing half a dozen contractors to rebuild a retaining wall and two walkways, I was pleased with the Pete's knowledge, helpful design suggestions and ways of keeping cost reasonable. I was so pleased with the work I moved all of my weekly landscaping to his company and have not been disappointed. Reliable plowing in the winter has also been a life saver.

It has been a pleasure working with the Indresano Landscaping Corp. They are dependable and the quality of their work is excellent and superior to other landscape companies I have engaged. When I needed some help with snow removal, due to some physical issues, they were willing to step forward and help. This is an excellent company to work with.

Pete and his crew transformed our backyard into a wonderful entertaining space to be enjoyed every season. Beautiful work and timely completion. In addition to this project Indresano's team takes very good care of our regular landscaping needs.

I have been using Indresano Corporation for several years now. They manage my year round property maintenance including Spring Clean Up, Lawn Fertilization, Weekly Lawn Mowing, Annual Pruning as well as the Fall Clean-Up. All work is completed in a high quality manner and at reasonable rates. As well, Pete and his team handle snow plowing at my home. Pete and his team manage my property year round!

Pete and his team did a fantastic job transforming our back yard into a space that is great for both entertaining and just simply enjoying being outdoors. Our project included an extensive patio construction, along with significant landscaping. The end result was extremely high quality and beautiful. Throughout the process, Pete was very helpful in offering suggestions and advice, and always cognizant of trying to keep costs reasonable. His team worked incredibly hard in many less than ideal weather situations in order to keep the project on track. Highly recommend!

We have done several projects with Indresano over the years and they are always on point. From leveling out a hill to allow for a playset, to pristine spring/fall cleanups, to most recently a beautiful property line of tree behind which they built an absolutely perfect stone wall. All done in a timely manner and very professionally while keeping to the budget promised. It's as if Pete and his crew are able to envision exactly what I want, and then turn it into reality. Highly recommend!

Pete Indresano and his crew do a terrific job with snow plowing the lots and walkways for the group I work with (a church in Newton). They also do monthly landscaping maintenance during the spring, summer and fall months to keep our grounds clean, lawns mowed and bushes trimmed. I have worked with several different snow clearing and landscaping companies and Indresano is the best I have EVER seen. Not only do they do a great job but they are considerate and pleasant to work with. The company went to the trouble to ask for our Mass schedule so they could work around it-make sure the lots were clean for the parishioners and they were not mowing during services. I wish we could find more professionals like Indresano and company..

We have worked with Pete and his team for the last 8 years across two houses. Indresano landscaping has not only developed and taken care of the lawns, landscaping but they have also removed snow for us. I have used 3 landscapers over the last 11 years and am pretty particular and think Indresano does a great job. Pete Indresano cares and wants to do a good job. They redid my driveway and entire front yard and did a great job. The work quality was excellent and precise. They also do my landscaping including mowing and flower pots and overall I am very with them.

We hired Indresano to install a patio including a gas grill and gas fire pit. We've done major construction projects before. We gutted a house down to the studs and redid it adding a dormer. We did another project where we removed three sides of our house and added a full basement with two-story additions all around. For these projects, we were quoted the total cost in advance.

With Indresano, the contract excluded essential things like connecting gas to the grill and fire pit, hooking up electrical to the outlets and lights, and repair of our irrigation system which was badly damaged during the demolition for the patio. Overall, these costs were unknown but we expected them to be reasonable.

We ended up paying $14,000 so that our grill and fire pit had gas, more than $1,500 for the electrical work to make the lights and outlets functional, and more than $5,000 to have our irrigation system repaired. For the irrigation system repair, we would have expected this would have been done at cost rather than Indresano using the damage that they had caused as another opportunity for profit.

In terms of the gas line, the plumber wanted to run it through our house but was overruled by Indresano. When I asked the plumber about this he said he was just doing what he had been told. They ended up trenching the gas line through our front yard, around the side, and into the back yard. Over 100 feet of buried gas line about a foot and a half below the surface. Since this work was not done by National Grid, this gas line is not on any Dig Safe map. Hitting a gas line while digging poses serious dangers, including explosions, fires, and potential injury or death.

Timeliness and communication was also an issue. Our job started in November and didn't end until the following July. There were weeks at a time when no work was being done on our job while other jobs were being worked on. Texts went unanswered for days. Our front lawn was damaged from the trenching for the gas line and we made it clear that we did not want patching with sod, just seeding. We ended up with hydroseeding but they also installed left over sod from another job. Even after complaining about the sod and reminding them we did not want it, they showed up the next day wanting to install more sod. The sod didn't take and turned brown within a week. I couldn't get a timely response by both email or text in terms of when this would be fixed and didn't want it to wait for weeks knowing the delays in getting work done, so I ended up having to take up hundreds of pounds of sod, bringing it to the dump, adding and amending the soil, and doing the seeding myself.

Some of the workmanship was subpar. The plate for the control for our fire pit wasn't properly seated in the stone mortise so one end was sticking up. Also, one of the curb stones was noticeably narrower than every other one. These two things were reasonably corrected but only after they were pointed out. I would not expect a skilled worker to leave something done poorly rather than doing it professionally the first time.

So, overall, I would not recommend Indresano. If we were going to do this again we would look for a contractor with the knowledge and experience to do the entire project and not just the masonry and landscaping. As with every project, the first and probably most important step is setting a budget. If we had known that the excluded costs would be more than $20,000 we would have adjusted our budget accordingly.

This past summer Pete and his team did some extensive hardscaping and landscaping work for us. The project overall was to demo and replace an existing stone patio and to also build a second new patio on the opposite sides of a screened in porch (see photos). Only having a rough idea of what I wanted, Pete worked with us to make those ideas come to life. From the design and planning stage to the selection of material, Pete was super responsive and knowledgeable. Perhaps most impressive was Pete's creativity on how to fit the patio into a unique space with a challenging grade. His ability to give me different options and to explain the pros and cons to each was great and allowed me to make informed decisions. He was super flexible as well in terms of stone selection and changes to the plan. He also took care of all coordination with my irrigation company, electricians and with a fencing company. Once the project was up and running Pete continued to check in with his crew and with me on a regular basis. The crew itself was awesome and so detail oriented. The masons who built the wall and fire pit didn't cut any corners and paid attention to every detail with every stone selected. The worked extremely hard and long days to get the project done on time and within budget.

In terms of pricing, I found Pete to be very fair. I received other quotes and Pete was right in-line with these other quotes; however, for the quality of work, I feel like it was a bargain. The quality of work was so good that I don't think others could compete. Also, Pete does not nickel and dime you along the way. We set the budget at the beginning for the core work and then as the project progressed we built in some decision points on certain additional menu items (low voltage accent lighting, tread stock risers off the grade), but all the pricing was agreed to upfront.

Overall I can't say enough good things about Pete and his crew. It's rare to find this kind of integrity and quality. With that I will let some of the pictures do the talking. I don't have the final pictures with all the surrounding landscaping or the cap on the wall, but suffice to say that was the cherry on top!
