I’ve used Cyr several times now for properties we have in Worcester. It’s not easy to find contractors you can trust when you don’t live locally, but Cyr Electric has always responded promptly, been easy to work with, arrive on time and get the job done. I will continue to use them in the future.

I have only had excellent service from Cyr. The couple times they have been to my house, they'e quickly resolved the problems, been very professional and kind, as well as being very knowledgable. I would highly recommend them for any electrical project!

5 Star service, if l could give 10 stars l would. Cyr Electric is at the top of my list when l need an electrician again. Darren was very knowledgeable and friendly. I called him 11:00 and he was there by 1:30. Diagnosed the problem quickly and solved the problem.

We've used Cyr Electric for the past 10 years. We have an all-electric home so having a quality reliable electrician is very important to us. They are always on time and do high quality work which is always done right. No worries with hiring Cyr. Friendly and easy to do business with. I don't see us using any other electrician at our home!

I needed an electrician to correct the master electrical box which did not pass a home inspection. I called Darren at approximately 9:30 A.M. one morning and he was at my house the same day by 11:45 A.M. Fixed all the problems with the box and replaced 6 wall outlets. I couldn't believe how little the whole job cost me. Highly recommend.

I have used Cyr for a few projects. They hard-wired a split AC and also upgraded my Service to a 200A Panel. very happy with both projects. Rich (estimator) and Lou (electrician) were both great to work with. Would Def use them again.

Darren was an absolute life saver. We were in dire need of emergency assistance and no one could help. We were referred to Darren, called the answering service and he called back within a minute maybe even less. He understood our situation and made it a top priority. I am a project manager on commercial property renovations. The building we were renovating had a number of electrical issues from high voltage power to life safety lighting. Our project was on a tight time constraint. Cyr Electric knocked out a huge punch-list for us which allowed us to stay on schedule and within budget. Darren and his team take pride in their work, are professional, and easy to work with.

Darren was very quick to call back and came within an hour to fix the power outage in our unit. He was very friendly and did the job quickly, while explaining to us what may have gone wrong. He would be our go to for any electric issues in the future.

When service is outstanding it should be shared. I was in a situation where I was doing some remodling and Darren (co owner of Cyr) came to give me a quote. He was professional and he showed up as he stated. The most important part he was extremely honest. Some hack ground information. Some squatters had gained access to my property and as you can imagine, squatters do what squatters do. Darren was honest and explained what was involved on the process. Due to his honesty I hired his crew to perform the work. The crew showed up as stated and they completed the job in the time they stated. When I have another project in the future Cyr will be the first company I am going to call.

This is the best company I have dealt with. My underground wires were struck by lightning - Their response was immediate - every time they set an appointment they were here on time.

I had to deal with all the rain we had, and the rain washed away my yard where they dug and went into my neighbors yard. CYR Electric came with a crew and cleaned my neighbors yard of all the debris that flooded into their yard. Then they cleaned my entire yard where they had to dig to replace my wires - they rebuilt with loam, seeded and watered my yard.

Every plug and breakers were all fixed - I also had them install a surge protector on my main panel to protect me from future strikes.

I HIGHLY Recommend this awesome company. The owner is so amazing, he even came back to make sure I was completely satisfied with all the work he did -

I called on Cyr Electric to replace eleven 2 prong outlets in my home. Within a few days a member of Darren's team was at my home on time and did a very nice job of replacing the outlets. Most of the outlet boxes had been wallpapered around real close. The service man was very neat in cutting around each one. My concerns were listened to and replied to without too much technical jargon. I have used Cyr's services 3 times and will again.

My husband Matt asked Cyr Electric to come and install necessary wiring to run our new portable generator. We found them to be very professional, prompt and detailed. In addition they took necessary precautions in regards to Covid-19. We were very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to call them again for work to be done in the future. Highly recommend this business.

Never had to call an electrician before so didn't know how difficult it was to get same day service. Most places advertise that they are, but that is misleading it best. This company was great. I bought two smart switches that I thought I could install myself but I was doing something wrong and couldn't figure out what. Didn't feel like trying to figure it out so called in a professional. Now as stated, it's hard to get a same day electrician period, but especially hard on a Saturday, which it was. Nevertheless, they took my call, informed me it would cost $100 more for "emergency" service, which is standard, and I had no problem with that because I really wanted the lights in. From the call to the install took about two hours. Quick, professionally done, friendly, and great service. Will be my first call if I ever need an electrician again.

I had a tree in my neighborhood drop a limb and wound up ripping my electric meter off the house and disconnecting my power. I called Cyr and they were out within an hour of calling. They did an excellent repair job and had my power restored quickly. Overall they went above and beyond and I was very satisfied with their work

It’s my fault but would not use them again or recommend. They have a two hour minimum charge and a fee. The guy was nice and came on time. Fix ended up being very minor and costed me ~$300. Pretty expensive considering it was 15 minutes. But that’s what you get with a two hour minimum charge and fees.

Update- wasn’t expecting to be charged for 15 minutes. And yes, there are other electricians who wouldn’t have charged as much. It is what it is. I said it was my fault…won’t go with someone that has a two hour minimum next time.

Found Cyr electric on google with good reviews so i gave them a try. Had a lightning strike and needed whole new 200 amp service and panel installed. The owner darren is very professional and gave a good price for the job. I had a short one night and the next morning he came to the house and repaired it free of charge to hold me over until the big job could be done. The day of the job he sent two of his guys to replace everything and they were great. Professional and friendly. Got the whole job done in 1 day and couldnt be happier i would highly recomend Cyr electric and use them again in the future.

Called Cyr Electric for light fixture installation, they came the next day. They are so pleasant and professional. They did a fantastic job in no time. Pricing is very good. We are 100% satisfied and we enthusiastically recommend them.
