Constraction reviews in Boston, Massachusetts

Francisco and crew did a fantastic job with my retaining wall and patio project. They were always neat, courteous, and provided great feedback on the design of the project, all while working in a cramped and challenging urban site. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mendez to anyone looking for landscaping and construction work!

Francisco and his crew were wonderful! They cut down 2 trees in my yard and cleaned, mulched and transplanted some of my plantings. They’re very professional and very clean! I would recommend Mendez Landscaping & Construction to anyone looking for quality work! Thank you again Francisco!

Francisco has always done great landscape work in my garden. I first hired him to build a wall in my backyard 3 years ago, and it turned out great. He is a hard worker and always fair to work with. I highly recommend him. Personally, I will hire him for future projects

Francisco and his team did a fantastic job building my patio. It came out even better than I had hoped. would highly recommend them!

I don’t usually get on and review companies but Francisco, the owner, is truly a gem! So here I am. If you need. Patio or a patio upgrade, these are your guys! Francisco and his crew are the hardest working, most prompt and respectful crew I have EVER had to my house for any kind of work. He is responsive, decisive, and does everything he can to bring your idea to life. My patio is now my most sacred space in Boston. I would recommend Mendez to anyone.

MR. Mendez and his employees installed my artificial grass. From start to finish he was prompt and professional. He did exactly what I asked for and reached out to me multiple times to make sure I was happy with how the job was performed. Very reasonable on price and the grass came out great!. My neighbor hired him for home repair while he was working on my grass and he did the job for almost fifty percent less than the next lowest quote. I will be hiring him for my bathroom remodel. Thanks!!

Very professional, well organized, also what I love about this company the most besids their very impressive renovations of my backyard and front steps. They take the owners opinion very well even after they finished the job they fixed it the way how we wanted it. I will definitely go again with Mendez landscaping and constructions.

Francisco and his team did an amazing job landscaping the green space behind my home. They also did a great job filling a gap between my retaining wall and the adjacent fence. He and his team were prompt, efficient, hard-working, professional, and very courteous. The price was reasonable, especially considering the quality of work. Francisco stuck to his quote even though he included an additional shrub. I highly recommend Mendez Landscaping and Construction and will definitely use them again in the future.

Let me start by saying that Francisco was very professional and reasonable. He help me with different design options while staying on budget. He and his crew worked very hard and left my yard very clean everyday. Me and my wife are very happy with the outcome of the project. I would recommend Francisco for any landscape design and construction project, I will definitely be using this company Again

Méndez does very good work! They know what they are doing. They did what the said they would with results that exceeded my expectations. 4-5 guys on site and finished in three days. A rare experience these days with construction projects.

Francisco & crew did an amazing job on our patio, walkway & steps! The crew worked 11 hr days & didn’t stop! Hard working crew for sure!! Very happy w/ their work! Highly recommend!!

I never write reviews, but Franciso is amazing. He and his crew did an incredible job working on our driveway and wall. I am very happy with their work. They are an incredibly hard working crew, very respectful, very nice.

Amazing work, extremely quick and meticulous, best prices. Had them lay a concrete slab for a garage, remove two large trees, and also remove all our leaves. Done within 3 visits, perfection!! Perfect 14’ by 30’ slab, town inspector said it was the best he’d seen.

Mendez landscaping did a amazing work with my patio, reasonable price, very clean, the most important his crew is very respectful I recommend it for any work you need to do at your home

My husband and I were so happy with Mendez Landscaping! We had a yearly repeating problem with a flooding patio space leading to water damage inside on multiple occasions. After having some estimates done we choose Isaias' team to solve the problem for us and they did! Absolutely 100% no more flooding. They creatively solved the problem and made the patio look so much better.

Naturally she e heard that our daughters wedding reception would be in our yard we asked Isaias and his team to help with the work necessary to make everything perfect for the big day. Mendez Landscaping redid the roofing of 3 sheds, completely replaced the siding on one shed, created lovely flower beds with anti weed barriers, did paving and ground cover work, added grass where there was a lack, created a sandbox and swing post for the grands, in addition to normal lawn maintenance. Am very impressed!

We are very happy with the fence, pavers, and crushed stone Francisco and his team installed in our backyard. They always showed up as planned and were easy to communicate with throughout the process regarding decisions or issues. Even when we found an unexpected concrete slab buried under the dirt, the team was able to remove it and come up with a resolution to the issue at a great price. We’d definitely use them again for any projects in the future.

If you’re reading this—there’s no need to look further!! Francisco and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with, going above and beyond to make our vision become a reality! I wholeheartedly recommend him for any of your hardscaping and landscaping needs! Thank you, Francisco—we look forward to enjoying our new patio for MANY years to come!

Very happy with the entire project (driveway pavers strips, patio, leveling the yard, and new sod etc..) and with Francisco and his crew. His timeline of starting and updates on completion along the way were very accurate and executed as expected. He was very detailed when he walked the job site during the project and corrected/adjusted things before we needed to bring it up. His ideas along the way were helpful and made for good enhancements. We appreciated that level of detail. The yard was always left cleaned up as best as it could after each day and the crew was very respectful.

Where can I start, Fransisco Mendez and his crew are the real deal. We have a very complicated property, sloping, ledge, wall falling apart, seemed to almost insurmountable with our vision. We went through many quotes, and Fransisco‘s was competitive, and he had this gentle confidence that he could do everything we wanted and more. We’ve worked with him for months now and he has slowly terraformed this wild landscape into a full yard with terraced stone walls, walkways, irrigation, grass, retaining walls, and much more. The walls themselves are fieldstone and have received many compliments from other trade workers, they really do look incredible. The crew that he uses works extremely hard and are professional. The pictures below are only a snippet of the work he’s done, we can’t imagine anyone else doing a better job. We are planning to continue to use him for many of the projects in other parts of the property. If you have a chance to book him, you won’t regret it

Francisco and his team did a fantastic job. The transformation speaks for itself - truly dramatic. Before speaking to Francisco, I had spoken with two other landscaping agencies within the Boston area. They quoted me astronomical prices. One company came back with a quote of $29,000 dollars for the backyard - truly absurd. When Francisco told me he could landscape our yard for a good/reasonable price, I was suspicious. I asked myself maybe the quality will not be good or they are not as experienced. Maybe it’s a scam and they will run with the money.

Luckily, all my concerns were proven wrong. Not only is Francisco’s team hardworking and courteous, the work is professional, high quality, and reasonably priced.

I am in love with my backyard and it was worth every penny. If you need landscaping in the Boston area - Francisco and his team will be the best team to do it. Trust me! You will be glad you did.

I am absolutely thrilled with the outstanding work done by Mendez Construction Company! They transformed the front of my home and built a stunning brick patio in my backyard. Not only did they exceed my expectations in terms of quality and craftsmanship, but they also managed to do it at the most affordable price I could find. The team was professional, punctual, and incredibly skilled. They took my vision and turned it into a reality, paying attention to every detail along the way. The new appearance of my home has added significant curb appeal, and the patio has become my favorite spot to relax. I am truly grateful for their exceptional work and budget-friendly approach. Mendez Construction Company is without a doubt my top recommendation for anyone seeking top-notch construction services.
