Our water heater is old and suddenly stopped working one day. Irfan and his guy diagnosed the issue and replace the water heater for us, along with repairing many other components (pressure relief valve, expansion tank, automatic feed flow value). Despite the hot summer and difficult access in the basement, the job was done beautifully. Irfan was also able to fit our work into a really short notice. Much appreciated.

Great person and company to work with. They came out on short notice to install a new gas stove, same day. Installation was quick and professional and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend highly as the owner is very knowledgeable and friendly, and I will be using again!

Two weeks ago we called Akian Plumbing for the 1st time, to service Our 1st floor apt. Water Heater. It required replacement. My 1st floor tenant,Patrick searched the internet for a TRUST Worthy Plumbing Company. You see, we had such a Plumber for over 50yrs. But, he recently Retired. So, Patrick found Akian Plumbing in Watertown. He told me,They looked 👍 GOOD ! Ok ! I called for an appointment & the Office promptly put me in touch with a technician named Evan. He came out here & quickly serviced the 1st floor Water Heater, The Same Day within Hours ! I did Post that Review. Two weeks later,my 2nd floor Water Heater flooded out, so I Called Akian, again. A Technician named Dominic came right out to my home on Friday,to observe the nature of the need ! I gave Him a small fee,down payment for Monday, when he would return with another Technician,named James. They started into replacing my 2nd floor Water Heater. While working on that,They discovered a wornout part of my chimney,was a possible Threat to the Whole 🏠 House's Safety from gas & oil fumes that can travel up My chimney & Contaminate the Whole 🏠 House ! Well, this was News to me ! I asked What can be Done to fix this Serious Problem ? They explained,more Work was Called for ! Boy ! That was a Giant Surprise ! How much,I asked ? They said,A Lot More than only replacing another Water Heater ! I spoke with my Wife & We agreed to Fix It ! We are now in the process of addressing this Serious Problem with The Knowledge & Experience of these to Technicians to Explain Completly Every Detail Need to Secure Safety Measures for The Protection of Everyone in Our 🏡 Home ! Irfan responded very quickly with a leak in my house. He arrived on time and found where the leak is. He stopped the leak on the same day and provided professional repair advice. He came back after two days to fixed the problem completely. I recommend him without reservation if you ever need an emergency repair.

Five-star experience in every respect. Called Irfan on a Sunday to inquire about disconnect of an old gas stove and installation of a new one being delivered the following weekend. He called me back within 15 minutes and confirmed an appointment. He arrived on time for the disconnect and reconnect appointments, explained the work that was necessary, suggested an improvement to the configuration of the gas line/shutoff behind the stove, and was very friendly and professional throughout. He took all of the quirky aspects of the 125+ year-old building in stride and also helped me take a look at some other plumbing issues we plan to address in the near future. I reached out to Irfan to get help on a poorly flushing toilet. He was able to make time for an appointment within a couple of days and arrived on time. His diagnosis and repair was fairly quick as he had all the appropriate tools and general parts needed in his work van. He also gave me pointers on what inlet water valve to use to save on repair cost in the future. Great workmanship and friendly guy.

These guys are the best! I wouldn't trust my boiler system to just anyone–steam heating is complicated and despite what they may say, not all experts out there are well-versed in the art of maintaining them. The folks at I&C Mechanical definitely fall among the few who really know their stuff! They fixed my boiler in no time, and gave me advice on how to keep the rest of the system running well. They were also very kind, came out for next-day service, and worked professionally & efficiently. I'll be hiring them again for annual maintenance for sure.

I highly recommend this company. They are professional, responsive and knowledgeable. I called the company this morning for a replacement AC condensate pump that caused a leak. Owner said they were able to come out on the same day and not only that, but they arrived on time. Their work was thorough and the owner was able to explain to me some issues that I may encounter in the future with my AC unit. And before leaving, they made sure they cleaned up everything. I highly recommend I&C Mechanical. I needed to replace my electric tank water heater which started leaking on Juneteenth. They were able to come the next day and replace it that same day. A major Greater Boston company diagnosed the issue as a faulty circulator pump that needed replacing, quoting over $3,000 for the job. I&C was fantastic. I had a gas leak coming from my stove and they were there the very same day that I called. They fixed the issue, cleaned up after themselves, were very kind, and triple checked everything they did. I was super grateful for their help. The price was slightly lower than I was expecting too - very good work. I will definitely be hiring them again!

Irfan and team are exceptional at what they do. I had purchased my property and the inspector found a damaged water main in the basement which needed to be replaced immediately. They came and explained what the issue was and promptly took care of it at a reasonable price. I have used them again for many plumbing issues; replacing thermostats, water heaters, tune ups, repairs, as my property is over 125 years old. On one instance I was trying to find the best solution to redo my bathroom in a cost effective manner and they provided me a solution to do that, even if it meant no work for them. They are able to handle it all, they use high quality materials. It is so refreshing to find a team highly intelligent, reasonable, and most importantly honest and with integrity! The humblest team and very appreciative. If you want the job done correctly with no hassle, hire this company!

Not reliable, even showing up with no notice. Seem like decent people but need better internal organization and communication.

Doesn't show up to their scheduled appointments. Sometimes they're very rude on the phone. Not a good company to have you work done by. Zero stars.

Company is not dependable. Waited for them to come to house and they never showed up. They told insurance company they came but never showed up. We rescheduled again yesterday and still another no-show. Called the receptionist and she said they have a lot going on and are busy. Hell, I got a lot going on too and I work and had to stay home twice to wait for a company that didn't show or call. Not professional at all!

I have used Green Team Drains for at least two years (two broken hot water heaters in separate units and a neighbor's leaking tub that impacted our ceiling). The quality of their works is top rate, all of their employees I have worked with are responsive and professional. Price is commensurate with their work.

Special shout out to Pablo, who repainted our ceiling, as promised by Dwayne (GTD owner), his work was impeccable, and he left the area immaculate.

Company is awful to deal with. First they showed up at my house without notice, and the receptionist told me she “thought she discussed it with me.” After I worked that out I asked the plumber, who was very nice by the way, if the agreed upon work would be completed that day. I was directed to call the office to get a confirmation on that. I did and after I was put on hold by the receptionist so that she could confirm, I was greeted by a male, who did not introduce himself when he got on the line, but who proceeded to tell me that the job was going to be more money because after looking at the photos, the exact same photos he looked at when he sent me the quote for the job, he realized he “underestimated the job.” He then told me the job would cost me “only”. $75-$150 more. When I objected to that based on the fact that I had received and accepted the proposal to do the job at a particular price, and without even starting the job the price had gone up, he stated; “it’s not like I’m gonna break your bank or anything.” I was totally insulted by his attitude and that statement since he had no idea what would break my bank. He also had no legitimate reason for raising the cost of the job he had already quoted me. He then asked; “ Do you want us to do the job or not?” Of course my response was Not!

I want to thank Dwayne (Green Team Drains) and his team for his excellent work. On Sunday January 28th our water heater broke down. Water was leaking all over the basement floor. I immediately contacted Dwayne to ask if he could replace the water heater. He recommended that I purchase the water heater and he would pick it up and install it. We discussed the installation cost and within an hour they were at my home removing the old water heater and installing the new. His team did an excellent job and left my basement clean. This is the third time I have used their services and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs help with plumbing problems.
