Joe and his crew replaced the roof on my house a few years ago and did a terrific job. When a large tree branch fell on the roof of my garage, I immediately called Joe. He came by shortly after my call, inspected the damage, explained the project and gave me an estimate. The work, which also included repairing and replacing the facia boards, was excellent and the property was left clean when the job was done. The roof looks great and the price was fair for the work done. I would highly recommend Joe Goode Roofing to anyone needing roofing repairs or a full replacement.

I hired Joe to replace my aging shingle roof. Joe spent ample time with me going over my options and also shearing with me the best course of action to take with some of the odd shapes and valleys of the roof. I felt comfortable going with the recommendation he proposed and ended up using copper in some of the areas… I was very impressed with the craftsmanship that he showed.
Joe and his guys lest the job site as clean as the day they started… I am extremely pleased with how it turned out and the roof has held up to whatever this New England weather throws at it.
The peace of mind is priceless.!!

I hired Joe to fix my skylight. Not only did he start and complete the job within the timeframe he advised me. I would highly recommend Joe as I know if I ever need any further work, I know I will be in very good hands.

I scheduled an appointment for a site visit to provide me with estimate.
Nobody showed up on time. I waited for half an hour and called back to see if the appointment is still happening. The response I got was absolutely unprofessional and rude. I was told that somebody drove by the house and saw me talking to another roofing company (I was finishing up another walk through as I want to get at least a couple of estimates to get a sense of the price). So, he just left without even stopping by or calling me to cancel the appointment. He also said that maybe I shouldn’t have scheduled the appointments that close and then hang up on me, I didn’t even have a chance to say anything.

This is absolutely unacceptable customer service!!!!!

A roof is a major investment, not a "but-a-bing but-a-bang" job. If done right is should last a generation - not 'til the next major storm. If you want the peace of mind of getting the most bang for your buck Joe Goode should be the first guy you talk to. I'm glad I did. I have other things to worry about and now my roof is not one of them. Reputation is everything! Thanks, Joe!

Joe replaced copper gutters and a small copper roof on a bay window. He did a great job at a reasonable price. He is very knowledgeable and didn’t try to sell me on anything. His crew was neat and courteous. I will use Joe for all my roofing needs. My experience with him was far superior to the one I had with one of the larger roofing companies.

I can't recommend JL Goode Roofing highly enough. We have used them for several years-- both for ongoing maintenance of our slate roof and more recently to install a copper "belt" and gutters on a large portion of our roof. Joe and his team are outstanding craftsmen; the quality of their work is self-evident if you've seen any of the larger projects they've done. They are honest, charge a fair price and are a pleasure to deal with. I don't think you'll find a better roofer for slate and copper in the greater Boston area than JL Goode Roofing.

Joe has been taking care of the roof of my Victorian for almost 20 years. First he found a leak and did a repair, then years later he replaced my asphalt roof and wooden copper lined gutters. He added an ice barrier in 2015 after the huge amount of ice build up on the roof. All the work he does is outstanding quality. He saved the room from collapsing because of snow and ice in 2015. Joe is a fabulous tradesman, his prices are very reasonable and his work is high quality. Joe cleans my gutters yearly.

My parents, who are in their 80s, recently had a massive flood in their home one evening at 10pm. Brian with Bostonian was there immediately and made a horrible situation just a bit better. Their quick action and professionalism over the next few days were much appreciated. We would highly recommend Bostonian to others in similar situations.

Very nice people, however - hired to dry out a leak in a bathroom,
drying not complete, mold grew - requiring three walls to be removed for mold remediation and extensive rehab costing thousands.

They were excetional! Last night because of flash flooding, 10 condo units on the first floor were flooded including some sewage backup. They arrived promply and litterally bailed us out. They didn't leave until everyone was all cleaned. I can't say enough about their professional and dedicated staff.

Excellent restoration and reconstruction company with employees who are a pleasure to work with. Honest, extremely responsive, priced fairly, and take pride in their work. They can handle your problem from discovery of damage to crafted finish work.

We had Bostonian restore our basement after it was flooded. They are a vendor that actually shows up on time and treats your job as their number one focus.

Management (Brian Barthelmes) and field people including Brian and others were exceptional. Brian was very responsive and reachable, and patiently gave me his time and attention, explained well and gave relevant and helpful information to me.

In October of 2022 I had water damage to my living room wall. I contacted someone that said they would help me. Come to February 2023 and still no help - he eventually said he couldn't do it. I contacted Bostonian Restoration and they came out within days. They began work 4/9 and were finished 4/16. They were all very professional, answered all of my questions, and I think they went above and beyond. I can't say enough about them. I highly recommend Bostonian Restoration!!

A couple years ago, my less-than-intelligent upstairs neighbors managed to release 50 gallons of water through the ceiling into my kitchen. The flood not only damaged a large section of ceiling but also soaked and warped the wood flooring. The neighbors contracted with a company who they claimed would correct the damage. That company, Servepro, is a franchise business that claims to address these kinds of problems. I think that they are a scam. They spent two weeks in my apartment, corrected none of the original damage, caused substantial additional damage, and then disappeared.

Separately, I was referred to Bostonian Cleaning & Restoration in Braintree MA. It was like night and day. The people who work there are true professionals. It was a pleasure interacting with them. They performed exactly the way that I would like a contractor to perform. They reviewed the damage to my apartment, made several suggestions for ways to correct it, solicited my frequent opinions, worked efficiently with the insurance adjuster, tightly scheduled the several different specialists who had to come into my apartment so that there was minimal disruption to my life, and left me with a kitchen and apartment that looked outstanding. My primary contact with Bostonian was Mark Burgess. Another person involved in the project was Chris Barry. I wish that I could give you the names of the individual workmen who contributed to the effort, particularly the gentleman who sang quietly to himself while he was laying the new tile in the kitchen.

I recommend them without question or hesitation.

These folks made a stressful situation feel taken care of. Brian was responsive and on time with everything they promised. They cleaned up the basement sewage that came up from ground and did the wall cut out, sanitized and dried everything. I’ve used other companies in the past, but I won’t again. While I hope this never happens again, I am grateful for them. I was able to communicate with Brian directly to his cell. He was amazing l and always took my call. Thanks guys

Superb service my rug dirtied in a flood. I needed it back in order to move it to California and they rushed it for me and they brought it to my door with very short notice. These people are fabulous.!!
