I called Foley Electric once we had the keys to our new home. Our first priority was big, updating the box, getting everything up to code, and doing some rewiring.

I met John for a walk through, we emailed to confirm plans and he was done in two days.

New box, outlets replaced and he ran us through his process. Everything cleaned up and up to code.

As more things come up down the road, Foley Electric will be my first call. Priced appropriately for the job, completion in a very reasonable amount of time, prompt for the scheduled start time.

I'm glad I got the initial recommendation. I'm merely paying it forward now.

Foley Electric did excellent work installing a new service and panel, wiring for heat pumps, and adding an outdoor outlet. They were professional, neat, and very detail-oriented from start to finish. John spent 2 days at my new house sorting out a wide variety of electrical issues and generally tidying things up. John was easy to get along with, had great suggestions on light/fixture/switch placement, turned up on time and worked hard. I recommend and will use them again.

The electrician, John, switched out 2 pendant fixtures. He also replaced an outdoor motion sensor light (even though it was very cold outside and I was willing to wait for a warmer day). He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He also willingly answered questions about potential future work.

Incorrect diagnosis and non-responsive. Call 10 times and you get a call back once. Its a one man show and never on time, so you cannot plan around the promises and commitments made.

Made an appointment with Rich from Elite Electrical Solutions - he texted that he would be here to look at a project on a Monday between 1-3 PM. So around 4 PM he still hasn't shown up - no call, no text, nothing. So I text to ask if he's still coming by and he replies that he was too busy on a job. So I'm kinda agitated, having to take the afternoon off work so I could be home for his visit. So OK, he asks if he can stop by the next day between 4-5:30 PM so I agree and reconfigure some after school pickups of kids and errands with them and agree to the new day/time. So the next day Rich does not show up and SURPRISE - he doesn't call or text - just doesn't show up! The following day (Wednesday) he texts me in the morning asking if I'm still interested in having him stop by to look at the project. Um, NO! I did not even reply to him. I honestly thought that maybe the person I was texting wasn't an electrician - that I had a wrong number and the recipient was just playing along. There was no doubt in my mind that if I had agreed to a third day/time that Rich would not have shown up and would not have let me know that he wasn't going to show up. Rich may be a busy guy but you know who else is? ME! I cannot believe that someone would just not show up twice on days and times that he has agreed to and not even provide the courtesy of a heads-up that he won't be able to arrive during the agreed upon time. Luckily a neighbor recommended an electrician who showed up (as agreed upon - what a concept!) to look the project over and he came back a few days later to complete the project. So (Way Less Than) Elite Electrical Solutions missed out on a $1200 job, plus earned a well deserved negative review! Sorry, but contractors need to realize that they need to work WITH potential clients, not AGAINST them! I would never recommend (Way Less Than) Elite Electrical Solutions to anybody for any project - even replacing a couple flashlight batteries - I doubt they could handle it! They certainly wouldn't have the time to look at the project!

I came downstairs and caught a puff of smoke from an outlet in my living room out of the corner of my eye. In a panic, I called Rich at Elite to have it taken care of. He came out immediately. He was able to service the outlet so that it was safe and no longer a fire hazard. The price was fair and the job was completed quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Elite Electrical Solutions located in Braintree Ma., is the best company I have ever used. I redid my family room and Rich and his team did all of the electrical work for it. I have had him do several other projects and every single one of them turned out fantastic. Rich and his team are professional, competitively priced, efficient and highly skilled. He completed every project in a timely manner and left absolutely no mess behind. I certainly can not say that about other contractors I have used in the past. I wouldn’t even consider using any other electrical company . I will be calling Elite Electrical Solutions again and again for all my electrical needs in the future. I highly recommend them . I know if you use them, you will be as thrilled with their work as I have been.

Highly recommended! Rich did a great job helping us finish our basement remodel. He was professional, courteous, and reliable. The city inspector even asked us who did the work, since Elite Electrical did such a great job for us!

excellent job Rick is a great guy. I found him to be professional polite, very courteous. he was respectful of our property and he explained the things as he went some contractors. Don’t do that. He showed me the problem with the old doorbell, chime, and why it wasn’t working and he compared that to the new one I appreciated that very much. we found his prices to be reasonable and his availability excellent. we will definitely be calling them in the future for work around our home in Hingham.
