I called FM Generator twice and both times I was informed someone would get back with me; weeks have passed and no one has called back.

Terrible customer service. They over-billed us and acknowledged that they’ve done so, but won’t return our call to make the correction and issue a new invoice.

Basic Major service. Came not only on time! But actual earlier than stated. Boys were in and out with no problems, tuned up the unit and got it ready for a Massachusetts winter.
Also came back two weeks later after unit running a little rough, fixed the problem in 5 minutes, and runs great now.

FM Generator replaced our previous generator repair company and has been a step up ever since we made the switch. The are knowledgeable, proactive about communication and professional.

I called FM to service my generator after the old company I used went out of business. They came on time and was very thorough. The serviceman was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about generators.

FM Generator installed a stand-by generator for my home which is on the east coast, about 7 years ago. The installation, which included a new electrical panel and routing of the gas lines, was performed professionally and competently. The price was less than I expected. They have always been very responsive to any problems which have arisen since, as the generator takes a lot of damage due to the salt air.

FM Generator took over from our previous generator maintenance company that went out of business. They honored our existing contract and continue to perform regular yearly maintenance. They do a great job

Fm installed my new whole home generator. The process was quick and painless. They also offered me a maintenance program to keep my unit ready to go in the event there is a power outage. Their indusrty experiance was the main reason we went with this company.

I have had numerous challenges with this company. From billing errors, to multiple contacts and multiple email addresses, a remote monitoring equipment installation that requires additional unquoted parts and service, problems that required multiple visits by different techs to resolve, a tech expressing that he had forgotten parts, being charged $315 in labor to change a $7 fuse, problems that were repeatedly missed and most recently a $2700 quote to replace the radiator. But here is the kicker, after spending $5k in maintenance I was sent a remote monitoring renewal for $200 and told if I did not immediately renew, there would be an $850 reconnection fee as the equipment would be removed and the only way to reconnect would be to reinstall. I paid $850 for equipment that I do not own and that is not portable - I cannot monitor myself or through another firm. I also noticed that I signed a 3 year maintenance contract. Apparently they make up for poor service with contract lock in tactics. I have not audited all of the billing and am sure there would be more if I did. I would suggest not doing business with FM Generator under any circumstances.
