I enthusiastically recommend Janek Jaeger. He did an extensive emergency repair of my dock After winter damage, and he also power washed Our summer cottage and roof. His work was meticulous, his problem-solving impressive, and he’s very pleasant. I have asked him to estimate The cost of replacing some windows and also Of replacing the kitchen floor. He is very honest about what he doesn’t feel qualified to do, but also eager to learn new skills. We feel very fortunate to have discovered him. Highly recommend.

Janek's experience came in quite handy when it came time to repair my alloy patio table. His skill and "can do" approach allow him to be a true craftsman. Am already looking for other projects he can do for me!

Janek did an amazing job fixing our broken back sliding door! He was very patient and did a fantastic job at getting the job done in a very short amount of time. In the past he also helped us rebuild/redo our back deck. He is nothing but kind and considerate, and genuinely has a special talent. In addition, Janek also cleaned up EVERYTHING after his job was done, he took out the old door and organized/took out all of the trash, even when we did not ask him to. Janek did an amazing job transforming the exterior of our home. He replaced the beams on our front porch and added some beautiful trim that really stands out.

He also washed one side of the house, fixed and painted our broken mailbox post, and even brought in some painters to complete the look.

Janek is fantastic and budget-friendly - he’s kind, knowledgeable and always has a smile! We’ve had him help with all sorts of odd jobs, from plumbing to finish carpentry.

Our bathroom doorway has non-standard dimensions, which resulted in us having to custom fit a door to replace the horrible 1970s accordion slider that the previous owner had installed. On top of that, the layout requires the door to open outward instead of inward.

Janek worked with us to select the door and hardware, advised on style, AND picked up and delivered the door. He then custom-fit the door and even reconfigured the entire frame. Had we gone through a contractor or custom door company, this would have been maybe a $1,000 job - we literally saved hundreds.

its often hard to get a good quality carpenter to do only a half days work in your home. Thank you Janek who did a great job replacing our deck rails and lattice to fit and match the existing portions. Great work with customized cuts! He also helped fix an interior closet door while he was here. Very reasonable and a nice guy.

Janek built custom corner shelves and stained them for my bathroom which look amazing and add so much storage. He's also done a lot of odds and ends like install a new garbage disposal, fix the toilet, hang frames and build a sliding fence on my porch so the dog can't escape. Overall highly recommend - honest, a perfectionist and friendly.

Meticulous! I asked Janek to repair our outdoor handrail which had become wobbly over the years. He pointed out that the original design and materials were inadequate and gave me a quote for rebuilding both the rail and the adjacent steps. The job took quite a while as materials were slow to arrive, but Janek stuck with it. The result is beautiful, solid as a rock, and I’m confident it will be much more durable.

I contacted Yanek to help secure my garage from squirrels that we’re getting in. He was prompt in getting back to me and setting up a time to look at the work that needed to be done. He was very thorough. He charged a reasonable price. I will seek him out again for other work, and I would recommend him to others.

I highly recommend Janek! And will be calling him again if I need help. He returned my multiple phone calls in a timely manner. He scheduled a day and time to come out to my house and arrived on time. Janek assembled my new full size metal bed frame and he also took away an old mattress for me. And he will also be returning to help set up my new mattress once it is delivered. Janek brought his own tools and was very professional, courteous and thoughtful. He set up my bed frame beautifully and even went out to his truck to get a broom and dust pan to clean up after he was done working. I plan on calling him again for any other help and jobs that I need around my house and I highly recommend you call him for any help you need around your house as well. Thank you Janek!
