Reviews of local pros in Danvers, Massachusetts

I contacted Kuhlman wanting to add a couple of outlets in my basement for some gym equipment. Kuhlman sent master electrician Josh Tavares to my home and together we discussed a few potential solutions to get me the number of outlets I needed. I was really impressed with how patient Josh was with all my technical questions (and with my 70 lb pitbull).

The estimate came in via email that afternoon. Though it was a little higher than I expected, I figured electrical work is a "buy-once, cry-once" purchase. Plus, I would rather pay a little more for professional expertise and the peace of mind that my house isn't going to burn down from someone cutting corners.

A few days later, Jacob Bloom-Houk and Jayden Berrios showed up (right on time, I might add) ready to do the work. They were both polite, professional, and the three of us went over outlet placement, etc, before they got started installing. During this process, I felt like they were actually listening and trying to understand what I wanted.

The entire install of the outlets only took about two hours, and when Jacob and Jayden were done, they showed me the work and made sure it was to my satisfaction before leaving. My basement was left clean, and I'm confident that this work will last for as long as the house does.

As someone who spent almost two decades in the service business (mostly in the automotive industry as a tech/service manager) I have to say that I was really impressed by Kuhlman's work. This entire process felt easy, well-orchestrated, and most of all--professional.

In the future, if I need electrical work, Kuhlman will be the company I call.

Mauro and his team came to my house and replaced all our outlets and switches and did a fantastic job, would highly recommend. Thankyou guys!

Super satisfied with Cognati Electric. Not only did they provide great electrical work but they were extremely responsive, prompt, friendly and left the work area spotless! Would recommend them without hesitation!

Mauro and his crew installed recessed lighting in 5 rooms of our home. Workmanship. communication and reliability were all top notch and we love the results!

Very professional. Transparency. Responsive. I very highly recommend Cognati Electric to a business or residential services. Been a small business owner for over 20 years, been through 10 plus electricians but this is the first time I can say electrician has been transparent with their work

Helped us with Landscape lighting.

Mauro replaced my electric heat thermostats, 10/10

Great service!

The best in the business!

Fast and good work!

The best electrician I’ve come across in the North Shore area! Professional, friendly, diligent, the list goes on and on. If you need electrical work done, I highly recommend this business!

Highly recommend. Mauro was highly professional and very knowledgeable. He completed work in my home and several of my friends and family.

We had an outlet in our kitchen that stopped working. Mauro came out right away and fixed it for us. Couldn’t have asked for a more professional, quick and reliable electrician!

As a first time homeowner hiring a trade worker is daunting. Mauro helped us with our first of many projects and was professional, efficient, and easy to work with. I cannot recommend him enough!

Mauro and his team do great work. I've used Cognati Elecrtric this year ( 2024 ), to put in a Tesla charger, recessed lighting, and undercabinet lighting. He's prompt and professional, and I'd highly recommended!!

I called Cognati Electric and Mauro came right out the next day. I bought a new frig, needed my outlet upgraded and grounded. He showed up early, was a pleasure to chat with and finished the job in no time at a very reasonable price. He even guaranteed his work. I would definitely recommend him and will be calling him for any future electric needs.

Mauro & team couldn't have been better. Responsive, good value, and most importantly work product was top notch. Also appreciated his ability to help me think through most efficient way to approach my different projects (recessed lighting, general lighting, rewired basement, generator install, etc.)

Mauro is amazing! Very professional, personable, and does quality work! We had him install all new smoke detectors in our house, and will be doing recessed lighting, with him, too. He's now our "forever" electrician and we highly recommend him!

Thanks so much, Mauro!

I called Mauro for a recessed lighting project and to install a new outlet over my fireplace mantle. Mauro and his team provided high quality work with fast turnaround and effective communication at every step. As a new homeowner, its relieving to have a reliable a d trustworthy electrician in Mauro.

My wife and I are first-time home buyers and need a decent amount of electrical work done. I called Mauro with a question about replacing a faulty wire that ran from our house to a detached garage.

Mauro came out the very next day to scope out the job, got me a reasonable quote the next morning and was able to return within four days to do all the work.

It was impressive watching him and his team work. In about six hours they were able to remove the cable that was originally there, attach conduit piping up the side of our house, run the new cable and connect everything. Mauro was incredibly kind and communicative throughout the whole process.

While he was on site I showed him a few other smaller jobs I wanted done -- rewiring a light switch, replacing an outlet, etc. He quoted me a price on the spot and we connected via email later to schedule a time for him to return.

Overall, Mauro and his team did a great job and I'll definitely be calling on him for future electrical work! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable electrician.
