Reviews of local pros in Danvers, Massachusetts

They just did work for me and the people are great, pricing is good. Will be hiring them again for more work around as needed.

I can't speak highly enough of Mauro and the team at Cognati Electric. After being let down by another electrician, I reached out to them for a fairly large job. Mauro was quick to accommodate me and got everything scheduled right away. What really stood out was the excellent communication and how friendly and professional Mauro and his crew were throughout the process. I won’t be using anyone else for electrical work!

I called Mauro and his team to come by and replace thermostats in my house. Response was initially prompt. Within a few days, one of the replaced thermostats began malfunctioning-it has continued to do so throughout the winter. I tried contacting Mauro back multiple times (call and text) to see if he or someone on his team could come down to see what was going on. It’s now been 4 months without a return visit. My last few outreach efforts have gone completely ignored.

I genuinely liked Mauro and his crew and I believe they are competent electricians, local too. Following up with customers and backing up your work should be paramount for any business, large or small. I now have a thermostat that doesn’t work properly and have no other choice but to find another electrician to examine and fix the work.

Great work if you need electrical done these are your guys! Best prices around, knowledgeable and professional 💡

Mauro and his crew are excellent to work with. Mauro is very knowledgeable and creative . He always solves any problem in a way that benefits me. Most electricians are slobs , Mauro's guys are great about cleaning up when they're done. I would recommend him for any electrical project.

I can’t express how great they are! I was having issues with my breaker and freaking out! They came out quickly, fixed it, and put my mind at ease! 10/10! Will be calling again next time I have an electrical issue

Couldn't be any happier with Mauro and the team! Their communication and professionalism stands totally head and shoulders above others I've tried to work with! I've given them a variety of jobs at this point, and will continue to do so. They had to really fight to install 4 ecobee thermostats for me in a 100 year old apartment building with strange ceilings, but they were very very kind about it and got the job done! Can't recommend them enough!

We had a fantastic experience with Mauro and Cognati Electric. They were prompt, arrived right on time, and communicated clearly every step of the way. The quality of work was excellent, and we really appreciated how they followed up after the job was done to make sure everything was working properly and if we were satisfied with all aspects of our lighting installs. It’s rare to find such professionalism and attention to detail— we highly recommend Mauro and his team!

Mauro and his installer (Mike) are outstanding! We were able to get an appointment quickly and the work was done perfectly. Cognati Electric is professional, courteous, friendly, and experienced. Everything you want from a contractor. We will use them again for any future projects? I highly recommend them!

Mauro and his crew did amazing work. This business owner prioritizes and employs family and is a genuinely polite, competent, reliable guy. He replaced a bunch of lights and added outlets to our home. Response was quick, estimate very fair and the guys could not have been more quiet and considerate. Mauro is an all around nice person. You don't find them very often. If you need electric work, CALL CONGNATI . You will be pleased.

They sent Pat to do some work on my house and I couldn’t be happier. He was so informative and helpful and for such a great price 10/10 would recommend!!!

These guys really bailed me out! I watched a little too much TV and thought I could do some DIY electrical work.. big mistake. I knew I was in trouble as the sun was setting, because there was no way I was going to be able to turn the lights on. I took a group of switches apart before I labeled the wires, and realized after the mistake I had made. Cognati had the lights on by the time the old lady knew what I was up to. Can’t ask for more than that

Mauro and his team transformed my home in a single afternoon. They hung lights, solved electrical mysteries and were clean and respectful through the whole process. Cannot recommend Cognati Electric highly enough!

"Highly recommend Cognati Electric! I've used them for multiple projects and they are always professional, timely, and efficient. Their communication is top-notch, and they always keep me updated on scheduling. A reliable choice for both work and home electrical needs."

Mauro and his team are the BEST! They have been so helpful from emergencies to updates. They are prompt, clean, considerate, knowledgeable, and great with dogs!
I recommend the over and over!

Very reasonable and honest company. Puts their customers wants and needs 1st. 10/10 recommend to anyone that is looking for renovations. From replacing light fixtures all the way to additions / remodels. On top of that, communication from contractor to customer is fantastic. They let me know what was going on every step of the way and kept me updated. 0 complaints, all I have to say is great work, thank you and I would 100% recommend to any one!

I couldn’t be happier with the work! The electrician was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. From the moment he arrived, he took the time to explain the issue clearly and walked me through the best options without any pressure.

The quality of the work was top-notch — everything was done cleanly, safely, and efficiently. He respected my home, cleaned up after himself, and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. Pricing was fair and transparent, which I really appreciated.

If you’re looking for a reliable electrician who actually cares about doing the job right, this is the one to call. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future. Highly recommend!

Excellent service from beginning to end after a major storm.

Matt did a great job installing our interior and exterior lights!

Great experience overall. Very prompt, responsive, and professional. I only needed a small repair job but Matthew was very responsive and took care of it the next day and also took care of a few electrical issues that weren't up to code before he left.

I was extremely happy with Matthew Burt. I had a problem with an outlet shorting out in my basement. I did not know any electrician that I could use, so I took a chance with Matt. He responded same day by fitting me into his schedule. He was professional and courteous, his prices were fair, and he knows what he is doing. I really got lucky, and I am glad to recommend him to anyone. I will use him again in the future.
