While there were a number of hiccups with the process- damaged part, last minute appointment cancellation and the incorrect parts on installation day (the correct part was driven to my house and it only added 1/2 hour), I would still recommend this company. They kept me informed throughout the process and I appreciated the care James and his assistant put forth in the installation. I now have a safe, working fireplace!

I am very pleased with the services that I received from Best Chimney. Their price proposal was very reasonable, they were very responsive to my inquiry, did excellent quality work and on time as promised. I needed to have two of my chimneys demolished to attic level due to deterioration of the brickwork and rebuilt. Then, I also had Best Chimney install liners and a chimney cap. All of the work was done on schedule and on budget. The chimneys were rebuilt with the phenomenal workmanship. When Reggie was here to give me an estimate for the chimney work, he said that he could also have a mason repoint the stone masonry and brickwork of my basement walls (my house is about 150 years old) that sorely needed this work. Shane from Best Chimney, who had rebuilt my chimneys, came by and did the repointing, which was a laborious endeavor, but again, the workmanship was of the highest quality and done within the promised schedule and budget. Shane and his assistants were very courteous and worked quietly out of sight. When they finished, they cleaned up all of the areas where they had worked. Based on this experience, I can honestly vouch for the professionalism, quality, and attention to customer satisfaction of the services that I received from Best Chimney and I would strongly recommend Best Chimney to any homeowner who needs any work, chimney or masonry rebuilding, done in their house.

Kevin and Shane are very professional, courteous, and patient with our questions at the project site. They are knowledgeable about the contract work to be performed installing our new chimney liner and cap while protecting our property, roof and skylights during the installation. They are consistent, very neat about the work site and cleaned up after construction both outside and in our basement. If wish all work crews were this professional. Chad Wilson was very reassuring during his estimating visit when we first discussed the installation of the liner for our chimney flue and worked with the office manager to address all of our immediate questions before undertaking and scheduling the work. The office management and staff worked closely with us to address our requirements for licensing, insurance and Town permits and were diligent and provided very timely responses. Reserving final judgment because Town building inspector needs to review but so far everything went smoothly. Would definitely work the Best Chimney again for our future needs.

Best Chimney lived up to their name! They were quick, responsive, and thorough. The folks that came to our house to do the work were great! I'm happy to recommend them to people who are looking to make their chimney safer. Speaking of which, I'm going to go light a fire in the fireplace now!

Appointment was easy to schedule. We've been customers for twenty years. We use a wood-burning fireplace insert and need to verify that our flue is not building up any dangerous creosote deposits. I recently moved into a new home and had an odor coming out of the fireplace. Best Chimney Services inspected, diagnosed, and remediated our fireplace for our home. The team was quick, professional, and experienced. Would highly recommend.

I moved into a very old house where two gas log fireplaces had been installed and I was concerned about the state of the setup. Best Chimney informed me that they didn't do inspections of gas fireplace units they did not install, which was understandable, but the person who came out was able to answer a bunch of the questions I had about the units. I ended the appointment with a much better understanding of the state of the house's chimney, as well as some options of how to fix it.

Also, I really appreciated that the technician who came out, Shawn, wore shoe protectors inside the house without prompting (it was raining) and he and his team member cleaned up after they were done with the inspection.

Cannot recommend enough Best Chimney and in particular David and his team. I did quite a bit of research before I found them due to a friends recommendation, and it was worth the wait. They were the most knowledgeable, respectful, reliable and fair, and I couldnt be more pleased after working with them relining my three story chimney. Extremely competent but also easy going. I also believed they saved me money by not overselling me work that other companies seemed to try to do. So very much appreciated!!!

I was super impressed with both their work and their customer service. They originally came to re-point my chimney and add a cap because of some heat issues we were having and the job ended up being more complex. They were super transparent the whole time and even squeezed us in to finish the job so we didn’t have to take our scaffolding down. I would definitely hire them again if I ever needed chimney work.

Boston's Best was very professional on the phone handling our initial inquiry. They came out same day to provide a competitive quote. It took about a month for the scheduled work to start. The team who completed the job were professional and courteous and worked through some nasty weather. Our chimney was rebuilt from the roof-line.

Nate was excellent and took good care of us. He was in our house multiple times due to the nature of the work being done and he was always very professional and never left a mess behind. Boston's Best Chimney rebuilt a chimney and installed a liner on my triple decker and they were excellent. They were extremely reasonably priced compared to roofers and other dedicated chimney professionals. Both the office personnel and the ground crew were communicative, punctual, and courteous. Shawn and Mike answered all of my questions throughout the build and respected the property and our neighbors. The end result is high quality and I would definitely recommend.

Involved in commercial RE. Maybe I just had a poor tech, but told office what I was requesting, tech came looked at horizontal flue running to chimney, said he didn't vacuum/clean them. Told worker needed a flue liner in chimney and left. Got a bill $175 (which I will pay), then an estimate for $500 for another person to come to inspect flue again. Called and talked to office worker said someone would get back to me, Never heard another word from them.
Needless to say I wont use them again.
