This is our 3rd year with Whitmore's Lawn Care & we have been & continue to be happy with their service. They have a great crew that do cleanups, mulching, fertilizing, mowing & trimming. Our grass is beautiful even though there are some bad areas due to bad soil. Many neighbors comment on how green & great our lawn is. So we highly recommend them for all lawn services.

Whitmore yard care does the snow removal and ice removal at the condo I live in. They do an absolute terrible job. Not even sure what we pay them for. The parking lot is never fully plowed, they don’t shovel the snow off anybody’s stairs or walk way and after every single storm the entire lot is a sheet of ice. Hands down terrible experience with this business. If I could give 0 stars I would. I’m extremely unhappy.

Whitmore’s Yard Care, Inc does an amazing job with our lawn care. They are timely and professional and somehow manage to stay on top of our lawn care needs. Our lawn always looks healthy and green and the spring cleanings they do for us really helps with the jump start that we need to a clean and well kept landscape for the spring and summer months. I would highly recommend Whitmore’s!

Have used Whitmores since they started business and couldn't be happier. My yard is like a showpiece due to their work and I am complimented all the time. HI highly recommend them!

I have been a customer for just over a year now. The service for late last summer/fall started off well and the weed reduction was solid.

However, Whitemore's service this year has been very disappointing. I currently have several hundred weeds in my yard (mainly in the center front and back right portion of the yard). I have called three times throughout the summer to ask them to come out and tell me why there are so many weeds in my yard. They came out twice and acknowledged that there were more weeds than should be expected and also said that the back right section of my house had been missed multiple times, but yet they offered no solution to reduce the weeds in my yard despite paying for this service (they said they would treat the missed section but never followed up).

This weekend I walked the entire yard putting down weed control granules and spraying weed control (used nearly an entire bottle of concentrated lawn weed control due to the amount of weeds). I do not like posting negative reviews but this company has failed to take care of the weeds in my yard.

I cancelled my service and would recommend a different company for lawn weed control.

James has been amazing to work with. He’s taken the time to review options with my husband and I and really listens to what it is we are trying to accomplish. So far he’s relocated some trees for us, has created four new beds and has updated an existing bed that lines the front of our home with trees and plants that are a much better fit for the space than what was there previously. In the Spring he’ll be helping us get our one acre of lawn to where it needs to be as well! He’s creative, timely and thorough in his work and I highly recommend his services.

If all you want is the bare minimum of just grass mowing, it will be okay. If you need landscaping, edging, mulching, bed creation then you may want to look elsewhere. James underestimates aj ob and then blames the homeowner. Asked to have foundation beds edged and wood chipped and James underestimated the wood chips by at least 5- 6 cubic yards leaving the beds thinly covered. He edged only one side of the walkway which is something a beginner would do
He is rude, unprofessional with his interaction with the homeowner. Someone else has been hired to complete the job in it's entirety. Now I know why he does not have any recent reviews.

I couldn't recommend these guys highly enough. I use them twice a year and they're always professional and easy to work with. Not to mention how awesome they make your yard look!

We had the same lawn mowing company for years and they seemed to take us fro granted, a bit, so we shopped our lawn out to two other bidders and asked all three for their best price. James at Rose and Stone had the best price and just seemed like the right guy for the job. He has not disappointed and is flexible with our schedule. He is pricing out a patio for us and I like his down-to-Earth nature while also being professional.

South shore, look no further! Rose & Stone are rock stars. I found them on Facebook, James, the owner, came out to do an assessment that same week, while others vendors were booking assessments a few weeks out.

James worked with our budget, his pricing was fair. They showed up on time and went above and beyond for us. One example is, at the end of the day, they put up a temporary fence for the night, knowing we have dogs that needed to access the backyard. Overall, the fence looks awesome, we wish we did it sooner, and it was such a great experience thanks to James and his crew!

We’ve always had issues with finding a reliable landscaper to show up and even quote a job, but James was super quick to respond, quote, and perform the work. We couldn’t be happier with his communication, promptness and quality of work. We have definitely found our landscaper for future work! Hideous falling apart rock island is gone!
