On November 4, 2022, Reidy Heating and Cooling completed the installation of a new Heat Pump and Air Handler. As a part of that installation an auxiliary electric heating unit was also installed. The technician who programed the units stated the auxiliary unit would only activate on extremely cold conditions. On reviewing our electric bill in January, we found our electric bill had escalated from $131.31 in October (pre installation) to $571.55 in December. When confronted with the information, Mr. Reidy agreed there was an obvious problem. On 19 January a Reidy Company technician arrived to evaluate the problem. The technician stated there must be something wrong with the programing. The technician then spent 3 hours trying to reach Carrier technical support. He stated the auxiliary (electric) heating unit had been programed to turn on whenever the thermostat called for heat! He said he did not know how to program the system and we should call for another appointment. The same technician returned on 23 January and spent another 4 ½ hours trying to program the system. Prior to leaving, he stated he had programed the heat pump to turn off at 20 degrees and the Aux. (electric) heat would provide the necessary heat. I told him that was unacceptable and to turn off the Aux (electric) heat. As the technician departed, he stated he did not know how to turn off the electric heat which was now programed to come on when the outside temp dropped below 5 degrees and when the outside temp climbed above 65 degrees. I told him that made no sense to which he agreed and stated he did not know how to program the system. On 24 January, I spoke to Mr. Reidy and asked him to explain what the technician had done. He stated he did not know but would talk to the technician and get back to me. Despite calling the Reidy Company every day for many weeks, I never again spoke to any one other than the woman answering the phone. Mr. Reidy was always out of the office; too busy; will return my calls; will get back to me when he has 5 minutes. etc. etc. etc. On 6 February I contacted another heating and cooling company, A Plus HVAC, to program the system. After several hours of trouble shooting the technician said the auxiliary (electric) heat had been programed to come on whenever the thermostat called for heat. So at the additional expense of hiring a second HVAC company to correct what Reidy Heating and Cooling Company was unable or unwilling to do, and electric bills at 3 and 4 times what they should have been , our heat pump is now functional.

Bill was great. Resolved the carbon monoxide problem with a good cleaning. Price was very reasonable. Others did not take the time he did without costing an exorbitant amount. Happy with it.

Excellent customer service, discovered a defective igniter & solved a low water pressure situation in the fill zone.

A technician from Reidy recently performed an annual inspection on the gas furnace in my condo. He was thorough, and he met with me afterwards to confirm that everything was working properly. I was able to get an appointment in a timely manner. I am on Reidy's annual maintenance program.

I was very pleased with the yearly maintenance. Fair price.
They came on a Friday afternoon when the hot water was off.They came on Sat..
and installed a new water heater. I am so lucky that I had a maintenace contract with Reidy.RC.

Reidy did a great job installing our tank less water heater. Roger came to the house and explained exactly what they would be doing and what we should expect. They made the appointment and their installers was on time and polite and wasted no time getting the job done.

The reason we called them in the first place was that they had been doing the regular maintenance on our furnace and central air for two years.

We wouldn't go anywhere else . I don't worry about heating hot water and ac anymore

I have worked with Reidy in three different houses. They have gone above and beyond with service every single time. Recently, my mini-splits needed new parts that were on a long backorder from the manufacturer. Reidy somehow did the impossible and found me parts without a 5 month wait. Bill and Chris were the technicians I worked with and they were professional, answered my questions quickly and thoughtfully, and were just all around great to work with. I wouldn't work with anyone else for HVAC in the future.

I dealt with a kind person came and did our yearly. Then two months later the Central air was only blowing hot air.. The other tech came in said dead part, great he has all parts ready so 20 minutes later all was good. They arrived the next morning ,but they were going to come that night I said no worries ,see you in the morning.. Service is fantastic.. The techs know the business. If you go anywhere else you will not be happy.. I have heard horror stories from other people. I always say go with these people.

Reidy HC has always given us great service. They installed a new hot water boiler for us 9 years ago and it has been great for our bills. We have them for the annual boiler tuneup, they are always on time and pleasant. They have also helped us keep our old central AC system running without outright replacement.

Their sole intention is to sell, install and forget the customer. After buying an HVAC system only a year ago. I’ve already had issues from a valve they replaced. When I asked for help they quoted $500 just to come and see. Any repair or parts not included. Had the job done by someone else whom I reviewed greatly for $250. flat. And got a maintenance club membership included .

We recently had a heat pump water heater installed and were very pleased with work. The city inspector told us that Reidy's had done excellent work.

We have used Reidy Heating & Cooling for many years with 100% satisfaction. They recently replaced our aging gas water heater and a few years ago replaced our gas fired boiler. Their service is prompt, reasonably priced and the technicians are professionals in their work and manners.

I have used this company for several years for my heating system, central AC, and plumbing and have always been impressed with their great service and helpful attitude toward customers. They know what they're doing and are always polite and reassuring. As a 79 year old woman, I rely on them to come when needed and take care of any HVAC problems I may have. Thanks!

Reidy Heating & Cooling replaced our gas hot water heater with a heat pump hot water heater. They were great to work with every step of the way, from the thorough initial evlauation through the installation andinspection. Communication was always good. When the first machine was quickly determioned to be defective, they replaced it promptly and at no additonal cost. The city building inspector said their work was excellent and that they are a good company to work with.

If I could give negative stars, unfortunately I would. After dealing with issues with my furnace in 20degree weather I was told to call Reidy Heating & Cooling due to a recall issue. Unfortunately, I had the wrong company But I was unaware. However, instead of them explaining that to me, they were beyond rude. I was very nervous due to the fact that I have three young children, one of which who has sickle cell disease and can go into a crisis at any moment leading us into the hospital for God knows how long. Instead of dealing with empathy and common human courtesy And explaining to me, they were not the ones to fix it, they treated me with complete disregard and disrespect. I understand and I’m not having the capacity to come and view it or fix it, especially with the part not belonging to them. However, they made me feel more than less than. They made me feel stupid and little. Their business etiquette was very subpar. I hope none of their children ever have to deal with the issues That my son has to deal with. The The receptionist was beyond rude and let it be known that I was interrupting her afternoon. And the owner was a complete jerk who told me he had a solution and then hung up in my face. Even if they provided exceptional work, their customer service was in the trash. Since I couldn’t explain to them how hurtful they were on the phone, I guess a review online is the only way to do it. I’m not one for negativity, especially spreading it around however, this business does not deserve a positive from me. The most positive thing I could walk away with is not having these people in my home.

Reidy has been my HVAC company since I moved back to the area 5 years ago. I love the maintenance contract ... reasonably priced and a great value! The maintenance technicians are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and so easy to work with!

I've used Reidy for about a year and a half. Their technicians really know their stuff. Just had to have the coil replaced on my heat pump and they did an excellent job. They show up on time and their prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend them.

Had a new gas furnace and central air conditioner installed in 2023 everything is working great no issues. The owner,the office personnel and technicians are professionals and very friendly I highly recommend Reidy Heating &Cooling.

Reidys is by far one of the best company's I have ever worked with. I've had a new furnace and central air placed into my home in May. They were efficient, friendly, and very professional. The owner Roger stayed in contact with me and updated me as the project progressed. Even when a there was a small hiccup, the company made it right immediately. I can't say enough about this company. Replaced our AC and furnace last year. Everything went great and we are saving money now with our new equipment. Had our first annual maintenance check and service was great.
