Dave Miner was professional from the first quote through the completion of our roof installation. The crew that came and stripped and did the installation were very knowledgeable and professional. They showed up at the house on time at 8 o’clock and completed the job by 4 PM. The clean up around the house was exceptional. I would highly recommend this business. Dave and his team was exceptional. We have a very complex roof and was worried about the installation. Dave Miner Exterior Home Improvements did a great job! I they really hit it out of the park and would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Daves process was seamless and transparent from start to finish, they worked diligently, finished quickly and cleaned up every bit of waste from the job. They went above and beyond on all aspects and I would recommend them without hesitation.

Dave Miner is an excellent “no pressure” salesman. He explained all the options, pros and cons; and then let us make the final decision. He actually showed up to appointments when he said he would. I had contacted a total of 7 roofing companies for my roof. Dave was one of two that actually showed up. He is very professional in his demeanor and product presentation.
His work crew is also very professional. They completed my roof in one day. There was no goofing off or slacking at all. They worked at an extremely productive pace the entire day, and the end product was a fantastic looking, high quality roof. His crew also did an excellent job cleaning up the yard. Not a scrap of trash left behind.
In all, I would highly recommend Dave Miner. It is refreshing to get a contractor with the old school values, especially the one that says “if my name is on it, it must be the highest quality.”

Daves team came in and did a great job the crew worked to get my roof done in 1 day. The clean up was like they were never here. They protected the shrubs and lawn like they were doing their own home. The team was very professional. I would recommend his team to anyone.

They installed a new roof for us and left the bay window flashing leaking water when it rains!!! At our initial meeting I told Dave about the leak and he told me they would replace the flashing and stop the leak when they replaced our roof at a cost of approximately 10,000.00. The flashing wasn’t replaced when they shingled the bay window. I called him many times after about this, at first Dave asked how often it was leaking, as if once in a while is acceptable,. After telling him that no amount of water should be coming in the house he assured us that he would send a guy over to fix it but we never heard back from Dave. It’s a quick fix for a roofer! I’m patient and am looking forward to bumping into him sometime…

Dave came highly recommended by a friend and I must agree! Prompt appointment, took plenty of time to review and clearly explain options No pressure to “sign now”. Very comfortable process. Great communication. On roof day, (May 12 2023) excellent communication and coordinated set up/clean up. Landscaping near house well-protected. Yard left extremely clean, crew very efficient. Brand new roof installed in 2022 by Dave Miner as preventative maintenance. Noticed a stain on the floor of the second story of my home in 2024. Called Dave who initially minimized the issue then blamed it on the chimney (Except we had the new chimney installed right before the new roof, as he recommended). Chimney guy came out with photos showing plenty of flashing left when he finished his job. Long story short the brand new roof leaked causing $20k in damages to the walk-in closet and floor of my home. We had to file a homeowners claim and Dave has dodged all calls saying the roof leak isn’t his fault. He did send out one of his minions to install a cricket to divert water, which seems to have stopped the active leak, but instead of providing us with his insurance company’s info to deal with the damage, he seems to have switched companies and won’t return calls from our agent. He probably was not insured at the time the work was completed. When we contacted the town hall to get his insurance company’s information, we learned he did not get the required permit to do the roof. Shady business practice all around.

Not only am I happy with my new roof – I couldn't be happier that Dave Miner did it. He is SUCH a nice guy - so real. He is fair, so smart and knows how to protect your home. I highly recommend his team. And it looks so good!

The Dave Miner roofing team showed up early in the morning and worked all day long until the whole job was finished in the early evening. They were an outstanding team; very impressive. Everyone worked together so well, which made the job move along quickly. It wasn’t a simple job with layers of crumbling old wooden shakes, slate tiles and associated debris that all had to be removed before they could put down new plywood, vapor barrier and asphalt shingles. The place was totally cleaned up by the time they left and most importantly they did an awesome job. Thank you to the Miner family and the roofing team!

Dave gave me the most fair quote out of several contractors and was the only quote I received, that was from the owner of the company. He was very knowledgeable, upfront, and not in a rush.

The quality of the work done was exceptional. He did everything. He stated he was gonna do. Left the property, clean and looking fantastic.

When I was trying to sell the home, home inspector left a very bogus statement that part of my roof was spongy . When I emailed Dave this, he called me personally within hours. he cleared, and arranged his schedule to come out and walk and inspect my roof. He insisted I give his number to the buyer’s Real estate estate agent, and went above and beyond to clarify this erroneous and totally bogus home inspection report.

He puts his name on this business, runs it with his family, and doesn’t hide from anybody. he will do great work for you, and do everything to make situations correct, even if it has nothing to do with him.

He went above and beyond to resolve this issue and did a very thorough reinspection, while having me videotape him. Called the buyers agent and even offered his number to the potential buyers.. the man stands behind his work, and did right by me on several occasions. Totally went above and beyond.

As a trustee for our HOA we were challenged to make a decision to put new roofs on each unit at our condominium complex. We are 17 individual,executive style,condos all in need of new roofs. This is a family business which gave us the ability to have either Dave, his brother or his son on property while the project was in progress. I had my roof completed yesterday by Dave's company. They were extremely professional.. I have to say, my roof is the best looking one on the street. They ripped apart my former "Frankenstien" roof and replaced it with something that I am proud of. They also replaced my gutters. As far as the cleanup afterwards. They left my property looking better than when they got there. Price was great. No issues whatsoever.

From the beginning of giving us a quote on our roof and gutters to the end Dave and his team were the absolute best. Quote was the best price after receiving multiple quotes. The day of the installation the team was here on time, it happened to be almost 100 degrees out yet the team kept working all day until they were finished, At the end they left our property in better shape than it was when they started. We just had a new roof put on by Dave Miner's crew and we couldn't be more pleased with the product and the process. The hard working crew is amazing and they completed the whole project, which was a fairly large roof, in one day. The process was very easy, Dave and his son were easy to deal with, were very accommodating, and responded to all questions and changes very quickly, even a color change after we had signed the contract. If you are looking for a roofing company we would highly recommend this company, you will not be disappointed.

I got a new roof replacement today. I had called Dave Miner last summer to get an estimate. Dave himself came out and I got a good vibe from him. I called him in January and despite the anticipated tariffs, he was able to come really close to last year's quote.
Today, the crew came and I was surprised at how quickly they were able to accomplish the job. I even had one neighbor comment that they were surprised at how quick the crew was able to do the job.
Leading up to today, I had 2 separate people tell me that they've only heard good things about Dave Miner. I'm happy to add to his positive reviews.

Dave and his crew were very accommodating. Our solar was removed on a Friday and Dave had a crew here on Sunday. They left the yard as clean as it was when they arrived.
