Amazing - they came in to do a cleaning service of our heating & a/c system and did an amazing job. The also were very helpful explaining and clarifying all the questions I asked. I highly recommend!

Had some central air issues in our new house, these guys were very responsive and did a great job. Didn’t sell me parts I didn’t need, explained in layman’s terms what was going on, and got me back up and running again. Highly recommend them!

Demelo HVAC installed a new Combi Boiler, replacing an old furnace using the mass save early replacement program. Both his office staff and the installers were great. Friendly and professional.

I'm so thankful for Josh at Demelo for fixing my AC. Right in the middle of a hot spell and the rate was still very reasonable. He gave some great advice too on how to maintain the system. Would highly recommend this company.

They did a good job but it is hard to believe that prices are fair.. $200.00 for 2 shut off valves and $185. An hour for service with a minimum of 2 hours....$370....cost me $679. Total for the job....way over priced...i do not believe that it should cost this much for what was done....i will not be calling again......

Over charging everything as other reviews mentioned, $185/hour PER WORKER, the “inspection” hour can’t be deducted even you decide to let them do the work which it’s so unusual, and they charge an whole hour even it’s not a full hour. There are many other business out there, avoid this one.

After looking at the aggressive, attacking and completely incorrect info response from the owner, all I can warn everyone is be aware and choose wisely!

Came out twice on emergency calls totaling over $750 and actually made things worse. Then tried to upsell me on getting a whole new system. Another company came later and had to undo their changes + actually fixed it for $600.

This is a great company. Steve did a terrific job replacing a clogged pipe. He was professional, punctual, clean and tidy, and pleasant. I have already called the company back to schedule more jobs with them. I highly recommend them!

They charged me more than $3000 to replace Triangle Tube tankless Boiler. In less than a year the boiler started leaking. I called them they said not our problem. I hired a plumber to inspect the leak and he indicated that the leak was caused by a corrasion from the top of the tank because they did not do a good job welding the incoming water supply pipe. That incoming water supply pipe was slowly drippings which caused the outer case of the tank to corrodes. I end up replacing the entire boiler and it cost me more than $14,000. STAY AWAY FROM DEMELO and Christine McCarthy.

Called DeMelo for replacing leaky hot water tank, they came 2nd day and within a few hours, everything is up and running. Steve and Davis were very polite, professional and pleasant to work with. Highly recommended!

I woke with no hot water on a Friday morning and they were able to send a technician within hours to come look and fix my hot water heater. Everyone else said that they were unavailable until the week after. Very quick, friendly and gave me a heads up that the technician was on his way within the hour!

They performed the work ok on the boiler repair. Thus the reason for 2 not 1 star. But they over charged us big time so not happy about it. You'll see other 1 star review for the same reason. Also BBB complaints on the same topic.

On top of $185/hr labor, they charge you for driving from their office to your house at $185/hr plus $35 (travel charge). My town was listed as the service area in their web page. But that didn't matter.

Also the part costs were 2-3 times the retail. For example the auto fill valve was billed at $440 but I found it was $130 at Homedepot. They had a lame argument for the over charge- they happened to have it in the truck.

Rich is a nice guy and the physical work that he and his installers did for the most part was good. That being said, the complete ignorance of the staff manager (Dianna) on how to handle Mass Save rebate forms delayed our rebate receipt for 10 months (over $3k on a huge system). Countless phone calls to her (many of them moderately to extremely unpleasant) because of her and Demelo's complete ignorance on everything from which form to fill out to what the actual model number was of the unit they installed (on three separate forms she used three different serial numbers, none of which were the actual number printed on the boiler or air handler). We had them install a complete new system - heat pump/AC and new oil boiler. Nothing about it came off smoothly. Thermostat for the system was put in an atrium with skylights which later was moved (after I was charged an extra $350 for installation of an extra vent that was supposed to mitigate the effects of the heat) - Rich said that he hadn't thought about how the skylights would effect this and didn't charge me for the moving of the thermostat (but did not give me a refund for the useless vent). One of his installers smelled bad. Every time. Nice guy. Smells bad. Same person tried to charge me for a new baffle that didn't work the first time I tried to use it (offered to charge me and then "remembered" that he could just flip it over and use the other side). Then they had NO idea how to use the $350 wireless thermostat I bought. No help with adjusting it until one of their techs came to the house and then called Bryant (who wouldn't give the information to a customer - only to a tech). no explanation of how the boiler worked substantially differently than the old one we replaced (high efficiency means it doesn't make temperature swings of more than a degree quickly at all) - when I did finally get Rich on the phone he was unpleasant at best. All in all this was an awful experience. I gave two stars only because one of their techs, Josh, was excellent and the physical work they did was clean and has worked well for almost a year with no issues. I have heard that the office manager is no longer with the company which is a relief.

I called Demelo following a referral when I needed service immediately. The office personnel and technician were quick to make the time to get to us, were very professional and regardless of the urgency, they gave a very fair price for their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

It all starts with the front office. Donna always answered the phone when I was calling for information and a quote. When she needed to call me back with information she didn't know, she called back right away, not hours later. Then the plumbers were on time, respectful of my property, answered all my questions about the new water heater and about the install itself. Overall a very professional company. I will stay with DeMelo as a plumbing service from now on.

I am an engineer with over 40 years designing and building things. I’m a big do it your self person and don’t trust the work from many contractors for good reason.
The Demelo team ( David and Chris) recently installed a new furnace. They do high quality work, for a fair price and get it done on time!
I recommend them to anyone that asks. You can’t go wrong with Demelo Hvac.

Demelo Hudson’s Gabriel & David quickly found and patiently explained a worrisome leak in our master bathroom. Great attitudes… we were very worried and really appreciated their patience and thoroughness!!!
