Replaced a HVAC forced air system in the summer pf 2012. Installation went flawlessly and has been running smoothly with no issues.

Still use them for occasional service and yearly maintenance. I called them this summer for damage from a pipe burst and they were quick to respond. The work was completed promptly at a fair price. They have covid protocols in place which was assuring.

Shout out to Ariana working the front office and the tech Chris. He arrived on time and did an exceptional job with attention to detail and pride in his work.

Expensive and unnecessary charge. They told me to replace with a new water heater, but other plumbers are able to repair by replacing the gone elements, which cost only 1/5 of Demelo's quote. In addition to the service call fee, they also charged me the travel fee and not communicated with me beforehand. The reason I gave 2 stars is because techincian did show up on time. In all, I wouldn't recommend their services.

We lost heat in our house after the first nor’easter we had. I called them Monday and they were out within a couple hours to check my heating system. Come to find out that the part had to be special ordered and would take a few days. They were back at my house promptly on Thursday morning. They were amazing and helped me out knowing that we were tight moneywise and have 3 small children. The work and how nice they were with helping us on such tight terms. I will definitely be giving them my business and telling others about them as well.

We were having trouble with our furnace. It was only blowing cold. Demelo sent someone over straight away to have a look. The job wasn't pretty as it involved climbing around in an attic crawl space. But the guy sent out was super friendly and knowledgeable. He described everything he was doing, and taught me quite a bit about how my home heating system worked. I was also amused that he tried to give me credit for fixing the problem in front of my chilled wife. She knew better, but it was a great customer interaction. The problem was sorted, the heat was running, and we all had a good laugh. I will definitely be calling this team again if I have issues.

We had a water leak in the basement from one of the coldest weekends this winter. Demelo was prompt in responding to our emergency call and also send someone out to our place the next afternoon as promised. Aidan was quick, responsive and knew exactly what he was doing and he was able to isolate the problem and get the water turned on to the house which he made it a priority and was extremely helpful as we had it turned off for almost one day. The follow up visit to fix the water line to the refrigerator was scheduled by Kathy who was also responsive and prompt. All the issues are resolved now and we are up and running. Thanks a lot to everyone.

There was a fire at a restaurant in the complex where we have office space and it caused our heating system to shut down right in the middle of a very, very cold & windy day. I called Rich and he was able to get someone out here within 90 minute on what, I'm sure, was a very busy day. Dale, the service technician did an great job fixing the problem and gave a very clear description of the problem. He also couldn't have been more pleasant! Big recommendation for these guys!

A+ Company! I reached out to Demelo this summer for an AC repair that ended up being a complete replacement. Arianna is the office manager, and she is absolutely amazing! She helped my family and I every step of the way and stayed in close communication. The first tech that came to check out the system was super nice and after testing out a few parts, he knew we needed a new unit. He made me feel assured that Demelo was the right choice for the job and let me tell ya, they were! My family now has an amazing GO TO company who we know won't let us down - even in the middle of the summer they made time to come out and help us get cool within 24 hours. Arianna kept us informed of when the unit would arrive, and we were able to get the install scheduled without a problem. The techs that installed the new unit came on time, and completed the job quicker than originally planned. We will certainly recommend their services to all of our family and friends. Had a very good experience with Demelo replacing a large section of very old, corroded cast iron pipe in my basement and making a few other alterations to bring everything up to code. The technicians were timely, professional, and happy to answer all my questions and show me what they were doing. I felt like my home was in very capable hands and I have a much better understanding of how my house's plumbing works now! I'm sure it was a tricky and messy job, but they left the work area clean and tidy. I will definitely use Demelo again in the future!

Aggressive customer service that you can tell by their responses to any reviews that are not in their favorites. Over charging for diagnosis and service. Lame job that issues don’t get completely resolved and shows again.
Updates: their rude response is absolutely demonstrating how they attack all negative comments. I definitely recommend to avoid any business with this kind of attitude and narrow mindedness to save your future troubles dealing with them.

Today my central air has shut off. It was 88 out and inside my house was rising very fast. Called a dozen local companies and none could come for a few days. Spoke to Cathy and she said the next tech available would be on their way. 10 minutes later Aidan showed up and saved my day. Very professional and shared tips about cleaning the unit. Replaced the capacitor and I was back in business, couldn’t say enough good things about how quick they responded, how quick they got my AC back on. 5 star for Aidan and Demelo heating.

We recently worked with Demelo Heating to get our furnace replaced. We appreciate all the work they did to get it replaced especially during the coldest month of the year. Shout out to David and Dale who did the replacement job and were very professional. We appreciate their help and will gladly use Demelo again for services.

Quick response, professional, positive and quality work. Demelo has serviced and currently maintains our AC system as well as our heating system, including radiant floors, radiators, replacement of our hot water tank and several ancillary components. We have young children and they were quick to arrive in emergencies. Special thanks to Arianna, Steve, Chris, Dave and Aidan - truly above & beyond.

We were a long time customer of Demelo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. Over the years we have used them for drainage issues, plumbing repair and hot water heater maintenance and until recently delivered a reasonable service.

On our request, Demelo came to our house on June 7 to clear a clogged kitchen drain. The technician worked on it and declared the problem fixed. We were charged $230. About a week later the drain was clogged again. On June 17 Demelo returned to clear the same clogged drain. A different technician “fixed it” and charged us another $370. In a weak moment I paid. So after paying $600 and one more week, the drain was clogged again for the 3rd time. On June 28, we called Ari's ProDrain Cleaning to clear the same clogged drain that none of the Demelo technicians were able clear. Ari charged us $250 and gave a 30 day warranty. The drain is working well now.

I contacted Demelo several times to complain and I requested a $300 refund (should be all $600). After several calls the Demelo business person told me that the owner can only authorize a $60 credit on THE NEXT SERVICE. Demelo does not provide a warranty on their work even though their website states under plumbing services: "Demelo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is there to fix those problems, making sure your day-to-day routines, whether at work or home, continue unabated. Need an installation or repair? Call us. We'll have one of our team members out to appraise the situation and get you up and running, leaving you with the confidence of knowing the job was done properly.” In other words empty words. The charge time and materials whether they fix the problem or not.

Clearly a company to avoid.

I had called Demelo plumbing and heating for our AC unit that was having issues. The tech who came out ( next business day) Aidan was fantastic and had our ac units all cooling within 1 hour of his visit. He made sure to verify all of our units were working and not just the one in question

My husband and I had a heat emergency (heater stopped working) this past Thanksgiving weekend as the weather started to get colder. We thought about who to call and remembered how professional Demelo was who came out to fix our ac unit. We looked them up and saw they have a 24-hour emergency service. Luckily we called and Demelo was able to come out and troubleshoot the issue. We were serviced by Aidan who was able to diagnose and fix the problem. Our heater started working again. We appreciate the prompt service and for helping us out on a chilly night. We will use them again.

Had three estimates for my place of business. First two companies recommended $60k to $80k entire roof unit replacements within an hour of being here. Demelo and his team gave a different recommendation, all repaired an operational for under 2 grand. If you want honesty and quality work call this company, you won't regret it

I had a wonderful experience with DeMelo, plumbing and heating. My five year-old, as they do, threw something down the toilet and clogged it up. The technician, Gabe came to help and fixed it with skill and ease. He was extremely courteous and professional, and was very kind to my five year-old, who watched him the entire time :)

Came home from Volunteering at the Bedford VA Hospital to find my sink clogged and while the disposal operated nothing happened other the water rotating. Called Demelo Heating & Air Conditioning just after 2pm. Not sure we can do anything... then, hang on. Yes, we can someone over right now. He arrived quickly. Identified the problem. Communicated what had to be done. Then fixed the problem. Advised how and why it occurred and what not to do again. Good listener. Great communicator. I wrote his name down but can't find the piece of paper. A French name. Great job!!!!!!

Working with Rich Demelo, owner of Demelo Plumbing, was an outstanding experience. From the very beginning, Rich’s knowledge, leadership, and positive attitude set the tone for the entire project.
