I had a Trane furnace installed at my residence. Nelson explained all the different options for my situation. We arrived at a plan that would work for me. The team came a week later and did the installation. Yader and Michael were professional and answered the questions I had. They completed this in 1 day. They cleaned up on job completion and took my 40 year old furnace with them along with the old ductwork , etc.
All in all , it was a good experience and I will reach out to Chaves for future issues if necessary.

Installation of a new HVAC system was installed this past week. This was a very large job in a difficult attic. Completed in 6 days. Your team leader was extremely knowledgeable and commented with us every step of the way. The team was very polite and helpful to us all through the project. Came and left at the time they indicated and cleaned up each night when they left with house cleaner than when they started. We highly recommend Chaves heating and air conditioning to anyone. Excellent communication and professionalism. Clean, kind, respectful services during installation (we were home with a newborn and were not disturbed at all!). Courteous and helpful with teaching and recommendations on use of system. They eased the burden of determining which system, financing, access to rebates and loans and made the process very simple! Highly recommend! (And they’re local which made access to personnel very quick and easy!)

I called and they were very responsive, it was New Year's Eve and they wanted to send a technician that day. I was leaving town , so it was scheduled for January 2nd. They arrived at 8:30am, and thoroughly checked and rechecked the issue until they felt
confident that it was a one-time occurrence. The system is actually running smoother and more quiet than ever.

Chaves has been doing the annual preventative maintenance on my high-efficiency Trane forced hot air furnace (natural gas) since I bought my house six and a half years ago. The technicians have always been knowledgeable and confidence-inspiring, scheduling has been a breeze, and I’ve never yet had any cause for dissatisfaction.

My service man, Matt, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He explained exactly what I needed and why. I found him to be very trustworthy and kind.
I will definitely do business with him again.

I was finally satisfied with the job but it took 3 attemps. The first 2x company sent unknowlogible young kids that were still learning without supervion, the work did not get done properly. After complaining at the office they finally sent knowledgeable employees that fixed of the issue.

We’ve been using Chaves since moving into our house in 2018. Always prompt and courteous techs that take time to review the scope of work and get the equipment running well. They also installed our new furnace/AC and we have been very happy with it.

Very happy with the sales and service of a new 2-stage 100K BTU Trane furnace I purchased from Chaves in January 2026. Another HVAC company, Papalia, quoted the same furnace power for the same price (neither was aware of the other price) but the Chaves quote was more transparent (listed the furnace type and specs), had more features (e.g., 2-stage vs 1-stage burner, modern zone control panel, and continuous load bypass damper), and was more compliant with town codes (e.g., upgrade of exhaust to current PVC standard that the other quote did not have). There were some minor issues with the furnace post installation, but Chaves came out promptly, fixed the problem, and in the course of doing so upgraded a few minor things at no cost to me to make it work better (e.g., needed to add a dedicated transformer for the humidifier to be compatible with the new furnace variable speed fan). How contractors handle problems is the best indicator of a strong organization. This is a strong company!

Everyone at Chaves is friendly, competent, and professional, and their technicians are excellent. Today, Bella was the best tech ever. Efficient and thorough, she answered questions I didn't know I had. She was a wealth of information, and I look forward to seeing her in the summer at AC maintenance time!

I woke up to no heat on a very cold morning and left Chaves a message before 7am. The technician Ryan arrived in about three hours and was super nice. He quickly figured out the issue, made the repair, and left me feeling so grateful.
I have been content with Chaves for decades now.
