Gold Beech Construction

We hired Gold Beech Construction to install heated floors and update two bathrooms with new tile floors and new bathroom cabinetry. Initially, we were just thinking how great it would be to have warm floors in the winter, but after the job started their team quickly diagnosed the cause of several issues that had been plaguing our house and the job turned into both a bathroom remodeling and a construction remediation repair job.

At the job’s completion, we could not be more happy we decided to do this critical (initially indulgent) project and so happy to have picked Gold Beech Construction to do the work!

Besides doing a spotless job, with an eye for perfection, always on time, and willing to work with our scheduling, the Gold Beech team diagnosed two critical problems with our bathrooms; they explained to us what we needed, how they would fix it, and quickly purchased and installed all the materials, with the highest level of professionalism and knowledgeable advice. The team traced an old water damage issue, cleaned all affected wood and replaced the subfloor before starting the remodeling job. With all of this extra work, they kept us informed and showed us everything they were discovering, adjusted the timelines of the job professionally and kept all extra work reasonably priced.

We should also add, that this work was done during the pandemic and was truly invasive, having work being done on our first and third floors. During the job, Gold Beech Construction put in a huge effort to seal off the work areas, minimize any travel through our home and was conscientious about using air filtration and masks. In the end, the bathrooms came out wonderfully. The team coordinated work with our cabinet supplier, brought in an expert tile installer, electrician and plumber and we never had a problem throughout this renovation that ended up being far more complicated and essential for the health of our home than we had anticipated.

We are so grateful Gold Beech Construction created two beautifully renovated bathrooms and completely eliminated multiple destructive problems! We highly recommend the Gold Beech team for any construction project!

As an final comment, we are very impressed and extremely grateful about the way the company designed its workflow through our house during the COVID shutdown. It’s yet another example of their thoughtfulness and consideration of their clients, and sub-contractors.

An amazing construction company run by a smart, creative, conscientious and caring owner! Chris and his team truly are amazing - the quality of their work is outstanding. Normally I am wary of hiring independent construction groups as many do shoddy or half-assed work. Gold Beech is the opposite - it's like working with an artist who also understands timelines. I can't recommend them highly enough!

We had a serious leak at the juncture of an outside brick wall and a flat rubber roof that two other contractors - and thousands of dollars - didn't fix. Gold Beech Construction was the first company to explain why we had the leak and more importantly, how they were going to fix it. Gold Beech Construction took great care in our house by covering floors and putting up plastic barriers around all the work areas and always wore masks in the house. They were great at communicating the timing of the project. We will never use another contractor. We have now used Gold Beech for a couple of other projects and they continue to exceed expectations. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.
