Constraction reviews in Malden, Massachusetts

Boston 5 Star completely transformed our outdated kitchen into a modern, functional, and absolutely stunning space. It was a big project involving demolition, plumbing, new cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and tile work. Naturally, we were nervous about the time and cost but they stayed true to their word on both. The workers were beyond professional: organized, detail-focused, and incredibly respectful of our home. Every day they showed up on time and left everything clean. The cherry on top was Agi. He wasn’t just overseeing from a distance he was deeply engaged, inspecting the work in progress, offering suggestions, and addressing any concerns quickly. His presence gave us total peace of mind that things were being done the right way. We now have a kitchen that not only adds value to our home but brings us joy every day. I’d recommend Boston 5 Star without hesitation to anyone planning a remodel.

It was a pleasure working with Boston 5 Star on my kitchen remodel. The team was punctual, clean, and had an incredible eye for design. Every suggestion they made added value to the project. They delivered more than they promised!

I initially hired them to renovate the front entrance of my restaurant in downtown Boston, but I was so impressed that I brought them back to do the entire interior. They’ve got great taste, attention to detail, and true respect for the client. They helped with material selection, layout ideas, and executed everything flawlessly.

I’ve worked with several contractors over the years, and Boston Five Star is easily among the best. They redid my commercial office space exactly to spec, coordinated well with other vendors, and didn’t cut corners. A+ in quality and client care.

Our office was outdated and uninspiring, until we hired Boston Five Star. They gave us a sleek, modern design, added functionality, and even helped us stay under budget. Communication was clear throughout the project, and they finished earlier than expected. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Had a great experience from start to finish. We called them to take care of some exterior repairs and ended up doing a much bigger project once we saw how capable they were. The team was professional, friendly, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. They paid attention to the small details and even fixed a few things we didn’t originally include at no extra cost. It’s rare to find a company that actually cares about doing the job right. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience with this company. We wanted to redo our old deck, which was falling apart, and they gave us a fair estimate and stuck to it. They helped us pick out materials that looked good and would last longer, and they took care of permits and everything. The new deck turned out beautiful, and now we actually enjoy spending time outside. We really appreciated their attention to detail and how respectful the crew was.

After living in our home for over 15 years, we finally decided it was time to renovate the kitchen. We were nervous about finding the right contractor who would modernize the space while still preserving its New England character. Boston 5 Star came highly recommended, and they did not disappoint. From the very first meeting, their team was attentive, respectful, and full of great ideas. They kept the beautiful crown moldings, restored our old floors, and added custom cabinetry that completely transformed the space without erasing its soul. The work was done on schedule, and the crew kept everything clean and organized throughout. Truly top-notch service.

I hired Agui and his team to install a 450 sq ft patio, dry/french well as well as plumbing in and installing a natural gas fire bowl. I obtained 5 quotes, of which Bostonian Carpentry was one, and my decision to go with Agui was based on a comparison of overall cost and a general vibe of trust.

Right from the outset Agui was attentive, listened to my needs and interests, and helped with ideas/solutions when we needed them. He even accompanied us to the local stone yard to help with our patio choices. We had a budget, which he stuck to, and overall was a genuine dude to work with. The project was completed promptly and on time.

You'll see two sets of before and after pictures. I was choosey about the fire bowl so that's being delivered in 4 weeks (you can see the gas pipe ready for the install) and the rest of the back yard needs landscaping (on my todo list!). The patio is all Agui's team's work and is fantastic.

I absolutely recommed Boston Carpentry and Masonry and encourage anyone to use them.

Cheers Agui!

We needed a contractor to help us with a commercial space renovation and got recommended to this company by a friend. I can honestly say it was a great recommendation. They were organized, efficient, and had experience working in high-traffic areas like ours. They kept everything running smoothly, and the work was done with quality materials and good craftsmanship. We’ve received a lot of compliments from our clients and visitors since the remodel.

Impeccable service! The renovation brought new life to the place. Every corner shows attention to detail. Everyone who walks in comments on how beautiful it looks. Truly the work of specialists.
