These guys showed when they said they would, they were quick friendly, professional and thoroughly explained everything that they were going to be doing. They were quick, thorough and clean and tidy. Unlike other electricians that I have used in the past, they left not a trace of having done any work other than a new electrical panel. I am definitely going to use them again.

Tim and Jeff were on time to hook up my portable generator to the house via a gen Tran switch. They were professional, clean and very efficient. They walked me through everything they did and showed me how to hook up the generator to the house and make the switch from line to generator power. I would highly recommend them.

They wired a 50 amp outlet for a large generator to the far end of the house and installed 2 more exterior outlets. I was very pleased with the job - very detail oriented. The workers were positive, courteous, communicated well and worked hard. Pricing was competitive, not overpriced like another quote I received.

Brendan was great ! We had all the smokes swapped out for new, with some a combo with CO2 detectors. He even moved the detector in the garage to an area where we could reach it. He was very patient with our questions. We also told him we had not had any light fixture problems since he had removed the dimmer switch in the kitchen. A great company.

We have used M.J. Carr Electrical Services for the past 3 years since moving into our home and wouldn't want to use anyone else. They are a top notch company and have provided us with upgrades throughout our home from upgrading our electrical panel, to installing ceiling fans to the most recent upgrade of a generator hookup for when the power goes out. They are professional, accommodating, helpful and all around genuinely nice people who know their craft. Couldn't recommend them more!

From start to finish our experience today with MJ Carr was first rate. They responded quickly to our inquiry, set up appointment same day, let us know who was coming and when they were en route. The electrician (Steven King) quickly diagnosed the issue, resolved the problem and showed us how to avoid it in the future. Not billed yet so can’t comment on cost.

We asked M. J. Carr to look at a perplexing problem we were having with a circuit breaker. Sawyer the technician they sent, made a detail examination of the issue and tried several possible causes of the problem and came to the conclusion that the circuit breaker was ok but there was a possible problem in the toaster we were using. He explained each step in what he did so we could understand what was happening. We were very happy with the work he did. I would highly recommend M. J. Carr and their technician like Sawyer for any electrical needs.

Once again, great service from MJ Carr - easy to setup appointment, right on time, great service and communication. I keep going back to them for a reason!

The MJ Carr Electrical Services team was quickly responsive, efficient, & professional in solving our electrical and lighting problems. Next they replaced all our exterior lighting and installed an interior fan, answering our rookie questions and advising us what types of fixtures to purchase. They kept us posted regarding our appointments with helpful reminders, arrived on time and finished the same day as promised, and they made the billing and payments process so smooth and convenient. We are already planning our next interior project and we will absolutely call them every time we need electrical and lighting help & would recommend them enthusiastically.
