I found the M J Carr crew to be highly professional throughout the process from scheduling an appointment, providing an estimate, and installing the new panel.
The crew were friendly and willing to explain the process and answer questions. They worked steadily with no idle time. I will recommend them to my acquaintances.

I cannot recommend M.J. Carr Electical Services enough! Fantastic communication, great work, and friendly and respectful people. This was probably one of my best experiences with a contractor. M.J. Carr installed a high voltage electric car charger and performed some circuit breaker work and I will be having them come back for more electrical work we need done.

Friendly, an efficient service! They took the time to walk me through what they did and how to use my new generator. I also really like the text/email reminders. 10/10

MJ Carr came and updated our service , installed recessed lights, added outdoor hookups for an air conditioner and more.
Couldn’t be happier with the outcome, and the pricing model is refreshingly transparent.

Clearly Tim has worked hard on his sense of humor. We are all thankful. Regarding the work ... they were on time, lickety split, and super-pro! Yet again (5 or 6 missions) a happy customer.

M.J. Carr Electrical Services as usual were outstanding. Matt showed up to assess our Situation and quickly came up with 2 viable solutions -- a plan A and plan B. The work was scheduled a few days later and the technician, Sawyer, showed up on time and was able to complete the job following plan A (the quicker and easier option). The guys did excellent work and cleaned up after themselves leaving no indication that anyone was ever here that day. We have been very happy with their work this time as well as previous work. We'll always turn to MJ Carr for any future electrical work.

I live in Hingham, and i have used the service of MJ Carr twice! Once in the summer, when they upgraded the amps of the house from 100 to 200, and they installed an EV charger for me, and once a few days ago when they installed and wired a floodlight camera. Excellent experience both times, best price around, awesome service. I highly recommend them!

Matt and his crew at MJ Carr were simply awesome to work with. We had a long delay of about 2 months and they kept being extremely accommodating as we kept pushing the appointment back. They spent a lot of time and did great work. Permit pulled, etc. Communication was stellar, both front office as well as back office.
I'll totally use them again for any electric work. Can't recommend them enough.

The electricians that upgraded my service to 200 amp were friendly and knowledgeable. They were also persistent to get the proper permits/inspections. I would absolutely consider them for any of my furure electrical work.

The generator interlock is a fantastic safety feature and I am thrilled with the ability to power the whole panel and then choose which circuits are live during a power outage which was not present before. The floor receptacle is very nice (removes the trip hazard in the living room!) and the RV outlet is more than I hoped for.
