MQ Upholstery & Cleaning in Medford appears to be a shell/contracting company. I'd advise looking elsewhere.

Scheduled an appointment with MQ for ~450 sq/ft of carpet to be cleaned the next day. Was ballpark quoted $150-$250. It started to sound fishy when they couldn't tell me who was coming, that the technician would give me the real price, and I had a 2 hour arrival window - even with a first appointment. I then asked if they subcontract which they said no, they use their own employees.

Fast forward to the appointment, Eco Carpet Cleaners from Framingham shows up. They look over the carpets and agree that they are in good shape and is the 450 sq/ft I told them then tell me it's going to be over $600, not the $150-$250

All stock photos, no actual contact information on the website/Google reviews, and Google saying they are actually inside a barber shop should have been a clue

Ocean Wave Restoration and Cleaning really came through for my family. After one of the big storms this winter, my elderly parents ended up with water in their basement and were pretty overwhelmed when mold started to form.
