Boucher Energy treats its customers, and installs systems, just like they would want to be treated. A+!!!
Two improperly sized boilers heated our home- adding up to huge energy bills and constant problems. Boucher energy calculated our actual heating needs, reviewed our energy bills, and consulted with Infrared Diagnostics to identify a single efficient boiler to reduce our natural gas consumption. Their installation team was prompt, professional, and highly motivated to give us the maximum benefit.
Just as if they were working on their own homes! Outcome was perfect!

Boucher Energy Systems is a highly respected and professional company. They removed our a.c. outdoor unit and water heater and replaced it with a heat pump water heater and a house heat pump. The first interview visit with Jeff was invaluable. He was clear, full of information and did not use hard sell tactics. The installation crew came on the date that was offered and they were right on time. We added a remote thermostat to enable us to set the heat/a.c. when we'd been away and were returning home. The "spokesperson" for that crew was clear and patient in explaining the system. I highly recommend Boucher Energy Systems!

I recently contracted Boucher Energy Systems to install 2 Mitsubishi heat pumps at my house replacing a couple of 20+ year old central air conditioners. From the initial estimate I received to the final installation, the whole experience exceeded my expectations. The entire team was professional, highly knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. They delivered as promised and on time. I will definitely be hiring them again for my yearly maintenance.

We had new ducted heatpump installed in our 2 story house. They worked with us closely to ensure the system performed properly and that the ducting runs fit both us esthetically and them mechanically. You get what you pay for top notch expericed installers that left us very pleased with the results.

I started with multiple questions about my options, and the sales person suggested others I had not considered. I received several, easy to read proposals which allowed my to make my decision on the type of system I wanted. I had several companies quote that specific configuration and while they were not the cheapest option, they were close and I had more trust that they could do what was needed in the best way.
The installation day was quicker than originally quoted, and went smoothly with all equipment being installed and explained how to use it. They left the house in better condition than when they started. Very happy with my decision to go with BES.

I am beyond pleased with the work performed by Boucher Energy Systems, Inc. From proposal, to scheduling and finally installation - Tina, Steve and Joel were each very responsive and helpful. They walked me through the entire process and made everything very easy to understand. On installation day, their crew arrived on time and were extremely professional. They were very easy going about working around my "full house" (including my dog), wore shoe coverings each time they entered the house, and put down floor coverings in their work spaces. The installation was very well done, looks beautiful inside and out. Once completed, one of their installation technicians took the time to walk me through equipment operation, maintenance and answer questions. I couldn't be happier with their service and installation, and am confident I made the right choice going with Boucher Energy. I highly recommend them without hesitation.

We had a very complicated heating and cooling system in our house that combined baseboard heating and heat pumps in a newer addition, with air heat and cooling in the older section of our house. We needed a new boiler and outside AC unit, and worked with Boucher to create a new system that was more interrelated and energy efficient. The system that they installed works beautifully, and I cannot recommend their professionalism enough. They were really good at figuring out what system would work best for us and accommodated our requests along the way. We had to separate the installation across many months due to the supply chain issue, but Boucher kept us up to date on the process, and we ended up getting a better unit for the same cost we agreed to. Their office assistant, Tina Ridenour, made the whole process so easy, particularly walking us through the Mass Save rebates and loan process. We looked at a variety of vendors when we decided to update our system, and are so happy that we chose Boucher for this project.

We have used Boucher Energy for many years and yes, they are very expensive. They do not follow up with maintenence when you are under contract so you need to make sure you stay on them. We recently had a disastrous service call. They had not done the service for the prior year so we asked that they do so but terminated the service contract. They did the service but said because the units we so dirty an extra $169 service charge would be added. I agreed to this. The bill arrives and it is nearly $1000. The tech charged us $250 for cleaning each unit. This is after he dropped his screw gun on our stairs leaving a huge gouge. We called to correct the bill and they did remove some of the charges but then added some at still $500. I called again and asked the service manager to remove to superfluous charges which he did. I thought this was fair and the issue was resolved. Today I receive a certified termination notice asking that we do not contact them for service ever again. Very childish and unnecessary. We were very polite with them and they seemed to agree to what we asked. This is not a company I can recommend. I suspect they can do better but for us this is spiteful childish behavior that we should avoid. Sorry.​​​

Wait, we discussed the bill, you adjusted it, we agreed, paid the bill and then you sent a certified letter stating we should not contact you ever again. Clearly not us not wanting to do business. If you felt the resolution was not fair you should have said so rather than agreeing. Anyway, clearly a very difficult business to deal with.

We used Boucher Energy Systems to replace our old gas furnaces with high efficiency Mitsubishi air source heat pumps. We were very satisfied with the whole experience. Joel Boucher came out and spent a considerable period of time inspecting the old systems and the house and told us our various options and answered all of our questions. The installation was a big, 3 day job because we have 2 different systems serving different floors of the house. The installation team did very careful work, getting all of the details (large and small) just right. They fully explained what they were doing and answered all of our questions. Tina is handling the application for our Mass Save rebate, so we don't have to worry about that. We were very impressed with Boucher and would recommend them for any HVAC work.

Boucher recently installed a heat pump and air handler in our home to replace our previous air conditioning. Boucher was easy to work with, arrived on time, were knowledgeable and answered all of our questions throughout the process. The new outdoor unit is super quiet, was moved to a more convenient location and keeps the home consistently cool throughout the day and night. We obviously haven't used the heat yet, but so far we are very happy with our purchase!

Boucher Energy Systems, Inc. installed a Bosch Heat Pump at our single family residence at the end of June 2024. Our experience was very positive, starting with the detailed initial estimate visit with Joel, continuing with their office correspondence, to the professional installation itself. They were patient with our questions, and kept us updated through the whole process. We would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone’s air conditioning/heat pump needs.

Boucher Energy handled the MASS SAVE furnace/heat pump installation, mass save paperwork, warrenty paperwork, and installation schedule in a very timely manner with excellent communication as to the status of the project. The actual installation was incredibly organized from the time they arrived untill it was completed, including excellent cleanup! I have NO criticisms of the work or the entire process. They even did a follow up a couple months later and scheduled an A/C testing st no additional cost. The install took place in February and this review is the middle of June. They earned this 5 star rating and I would recommend them for ANY HVAC service especially MASS SAVE projects....

This is a top notch company. We replaced our Mitsubishi ductless air conditioner with a new one. Our experience with Joel Boucher deciding our best replacement was informative and helped us make the right decision. Everyone at Boucher, from the people in the office, especially Tina, to the installers were great. We would be happy to use them again.

The team from Boucher was fantastic from start to finish. They listened to our needs, assessed several options, and recommended and installed an air conditioning system that has made our home very comfortable despite record-breaking heat in the Boston area. Boucher was terrific. From the initial site visit, proposal through installation they were thorough, efficient, professional, and generally great to work with. While earlier we had other contractors come look at our house, none was as thorough as Boucher. They listen to understand our needs and took the time to address all our questions. The installation crew was great. In addition to be courteous and efficient they were very neat and left our house in terrific condition. They took the time to explain how to operate the system and are always available by email or phone to address any questions. I am confident that we got a high quality system that not only meets our heating and cooling needs but helps us reduce our depends on our oil fire furnace. I would highly recommend them.

The team went above and beyond to deliver an excellent heating and cooling system at a very fair price. They were meticulous in the installation and cleaning up after themselves. My rugs looked better than when they walked in the door. Thank you, fellas. You are all rock stars!

Another install at my house done by the team at Boucher Energy. From the request for quote to the design of the system through install, they have been awesome and made the whole process stress free. The install crew were top notch, they laid out floor covering and didn’t leave a spec of dust anywhere they worked. Wiring and piping where all perfectly laid out.

Multiple fantastic experiences with Boucher Energy Systems. I would highly recommend them. We replaced our HVAC system in two phases. Each installation was thoughtful, well planned and efficiently executed. They also sealed the ducts in our attic which made a huge difference with the AC this summer. After phase 1, we signed up for the maintenance service which has been seamless. Great company, great people, great product!

We worked with Boucher on mini splits for our new home. The process from start to finish was seamless. Tina, Joel, and the team were helpful when we were making decision and working through the Mass Save process. We are enjoying our new splits and look forward to continuing to work with them in the future. They came highly recommended to us and we highly recommend them to others!

The Team at Boucher Energy Systems, Inc. were exceptionally professional, proficient, efficient and skilled. I had a whole new HVAC system installed, along with a new Hot Water Heater, and I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with there execution of the project. A team of about eight people working in and around a fairly small mechanical room space, completing demo of the old system and hot water tank and installation of the new furnace, tankless hot water heater and heat pump. All on one of the coldest days in January. Completed in one day and when they left, there was no evidence of the amount of work that had just taken place. Clean as a whistle!! I highly recommend Boucher Energy Systems, Inc. to anyone looking for HVAC services.
