I had a bad experience with a different carpet cleaning service and called Timmins to have them look at my area rug and see if they could improve upon the stain removal. The experience was night and day from the first company. The Timmins technicians were knowledgeable, friendly and very respectful of my home. They identified damage that was done to my rug by the other service, gave me a realistic expectation of what more they could do and even offered to let me cancel the cleaning if I didn't want to proceed based on their assessment. I'm glad I went ahead with the cleaning. While the stain isn't completely gone (to no fault of them), it's definitely improved. And I received valuable tips about rug maintenance/protection in general. Next time I need a rug or upholstery cleaned, I will only call Timmins.

This has been weighing on me for a while, and I've gone back and forth about whether to speak up or report it. I'm still unsure of what steps I want to take formally, but I feel the community should be aware.
It anyone has used or is considering using Timmins Enterprises (based in Natick), please be cautious. I had them clean a rug in my home some time ago, and one of their technicians entered my bedroom without permission and took a pair of my underwear from my dresser. I discovered this through security camera footage.
I haven't yet decided weather to proceed with the authorities, but I believe others deserve to know so they can make informed choices. No one should have to worry about this kind of violation in their own home.

I recently called Timmins to clean the wall-to-wall carpeting in two of our bedrooms and a 30+ year old area rug that was my grandmother's and is incredibly sentimental to me. Top notch service from the moment I called. Even with my inconsistent work schedule, the cleaning appointment was scheduled within days. Justin arrived right on time and as he walked past an area rug in our family room, he said "May I take a pass at cleaning up that rug?" I said, "No. My dogs have completely destroyed it. I have tried every product I could think of on it and it's long past saving. It's going in the trash." Justin kindly insisted and that trash-bound rug looks BRAND NEW. Every spot was removed, EVERY spot! I wish I had taken a before and after photo as it's truly remarkable and not surprisingly, the carpeting in both bedrooms and my grandmother's rug are impeccably clean, stain-free, and smell so fresh. The same exquisite care was taken in all the carpeting cleaned and you'll find no one more thankful today! Highly recommend.
