Chris and his partner came out and closed the pool today. They were very friendly, explained what they were doing, and were very efficient. They skimmed and vacuumed the pool, added the proper chemicals, the antifreeze, the cover, cleaned the filters… They did an amazing job! They were also extremely affordable. I highly recommend Chris and his team for any pool service needs. Thank you Chris!

I called Chris at the height of pool opening season looking for help with some failing equipment. He and his team were willing to extend an already full work day to come out at night and take care of it. Highly recommend North Shore Pool Boys!

I have been very patient with this company, I had scheduled an appointment with them May 3rd at 10:00 in the morning and they did not come until 2:00 pm. I was not home at the time, but my family was home.

The guys had removed the cover that was over the pool and dumped a ton of leaves and dirt into my pool that I have been struggling with trying to get out for the last week. I’m pulling out sticks and a whole log that was on the tarp that they had dumped into the pool.

I understand there was rain and bad weather that had delayed their services, a phone call or text would have been nice, they don’t even tell you when they’re coming back. On the day of my scheduled appointment on the 3rd, they stop working on my pool to go work on another customers pool in Gloucester.

I had reached out to Chris last week to see when is a good time for him to come back and clean out all the leaves, he said Monday would be ideal which is today 5/12/25. I texted him and he ignored my message and did a no call/no show.

I’ve been very patient with these guys and the way how they treated my pool and myself is very unprofessional. I wasted $350 dollars and nothing seems to be getting any better in the pool. Very unhappy with this company.

Edit: Chris came back to my house twice after and didn’t finish the job. I’m still picking up sticks and leaves out of my pool that he failed to get out. Chris has been begging me to take down the review but instead of taking it down, I’ll just edit it instead.

Very sad to say that this company is not reliable. Chris was recommended to us so we contacted him for pool opening services. We contacted him in May and were very clear that we had a deadline of when we needed the pool ready by and even offered to pay extra to expedite the process (think rush fee). They didn’t come on the schedule day and we had to follow up to see when they would actually be coming. They came one day and said they would need to return the next to vacuum the debris that would settle. It’s been about two weeks now and Chris has yet to give us any response as to when they will be coming back to finish the job.

I needed a liner replacement for my above ground pool. Call to a number of local services left me frustrated - no callbacks, ghosting. NSPB responded promptly to my call, and set up a time that gave us a whole season of use. They called on the day of the appointment to let me know when they would arrive. The crew were friendly and hard working. They were able to finish that day. I would highly recommend North Shore Pool Boys!

Chris is great! I wish he had been around years ago, when my dad had an in-ground pool. If he had been, my dad wouldn’t have had it filled in!

Although I believe he does need to find a way to communicate and/or show up to appointments on time, so he doesn’t hurt his own company's reputation. He did end up coming through for me and doing an unbelievable job. He even had one of his affiliates come vacuum the sand out of my pool to make sure I was happy. He’s a young kid doing his best to run his own business. He knows his work and I would absolutely use him again. This is a busy season and I’m sure that he’s just doing his best to make sure that he keeps all of customers serviced and fulfilled even if it does set him back with his other appointments.

I can’t recommend Chris and his team enough. They came out to help close my pool on such short notice. They were very thorough when following me thru the steps on what they were doing. They were very knowledgeable and friendly.

They did an excellent job with my pool. I will recommend them to anyone anytime thank you. North Shore pool boys for doing such a good job.

North Shore Pool Boys did an amazing job cleaning my pool! There was absolutely no wait—they came out right away, which was a pleasant surprise. Their pricing is more than fair, especially considering the quality of service. The guys were professional, courteous, and worked quickly without cutting corners. I’ll definitely be using them again and recommending them to friends and neighbors!

Chris and his team showed up and did an exemplary job cleaning the leaves and debris from my pool. He was a day late and That was OK because the professionalism and knowledge and courtesy that he brought to the Job impressed me. I am a small business owner and I understand how these things go. I am now a customer for life with Chris and North Shore Pool Boys! I would recommend anyone who’s looking for a great job done at a very reasonable price to call North Shore Pool Boys and get a date! Do your homework on this "service provider". Read all of the "no call no show reviews".

I made a reservation early in the year for Monday, June 24th to have my pool opened. No call, no show until the next day he texted in the evening on 6/25. He showed on 6/26 and pulled my pool cover off, took out some leaves, dumped some chemicals and said he'd be back that day. Again no call, no show. He called Thursday morning (6/27) and said he'd be by in "an hour".. never called and never showed again. My pool was never opened. They never followed up to actually SCHEDULE the service (I received a text on Saturday, 6/29, that said "hey how is the pool looking?") , and I certainly wasn't going to respond given how unresponsive and unreliable they have been. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MAJOR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM. DO NOT RECOMMEND HIRING THEM. I am updating my review to include photos of how my pool was left.

UPDATE 3/12/25: STOP LYING CHRIS. YOU TOOK MY COVER OFF AND THREW IT ON THE GROUND AND LEFT IT THERE. EVERYTHING YOU CITED IN YOUR RESPONSE IS FALSE. I HAVE THE TEXTS AND CALL LOGS AND VIDEOS FROM MY SURVEILLANCE CAMERA THAT FACES THE BACK YARD. LYNN IS AN AMAZING CITY. DONT TEAR IT DOWN DUE TO YOUR SCREW UP. YOU DIDNT OPEN MY POOL. YOU DIDNT DO THE SERVICE SO YOU DIDN'T GET PAID. So Happy to share videos and phone logs THAT DONT EXIST BECAUSE YOU NEVER CALLED SEVERAL TIMES. THANKS. Although after, I HAD TO BLOCK YOU FROM THE HARRASSING MESSAGES ABOUT THIS REVIEW. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

These guys are awesome. Answered my calls right away, and the job was exceptionally and professionally done, completely hassle free. Called them on a Sunday, they were there Tuesday getting it done. All around 10/10 service. Highly recommend them, we will be using there services year round.

Highly recommend North Shore Pool Boys! They were very accommodating, knowledgeable and as you can see from the before and after photos their pool cleaning is top notch! We will definitely be using them again! Thanks Chris!!!

North Shore Pool Boys, ROCK!!! They came to the recuse of old pool rotting out 1 week before the 4th of July holiday.
With that said, Chris and his team we at my home to ensure I was able to have a new pool installed for my annual cookout/pool party. Chris & Kyle we here on the 4th double last minute touch up!!!

Chris was great. He is very responsive, reasonably priced and does great work! They replaced the liner in our above ground pool and made us aware of cracks in the skimmer and replaced it right away. I highly recommend!

North shore pool boys did a great job on setting up my 15 x 30 above ground pool. The boys did a great job and took their time to make sure everything was done correctly. They leveled the ground perfectly and they had Mark come in and dig up the area first. All around everyone who worked on my yard was very kind and hard working. Chris was very responsive and straight forward about every part of the process. Highly recommend them!!

I highly recommend NS Pool Boys! Chris and his crew were amazing! My liner was 11 years old and had a couple of holes so it was time to replace. The quote was reasonable and other than the parts being delayed, the boys got the job done quickly and the new liner looks great!
