Marcin and his associates have worked on multiple projects in my South End Boston Condo:
He has painted and is meticulous and neat. He is willing to do touch-up painting.
He has patched walls for me and painted them.
Assembled furniture and mounted things in my unit to the walls ie: cabinets and cubes to the ceiling and attached them to the walls.
He recommended some work to our gutter drainage outside.
He has replaced my thermostat, and installed several pendant fixtures over my kitchen island.
He has helped me hang hooks in the brick on my outside urban deck.
Marcin makes himself available to his customers. He is polite, neat and reliable.
Most recently he changed my deadbolt lock and brought me the keys.
I highly recommend Marcin for any home projects.

We are very impress with the work Marcin and his associates did. They renovated our kitchen cabinets and they now look better than new. Walls and ceilings also look spotless. They also did a good job cleaning after the job

Quite disappointed in Marcin. I hired him once to repair some handrails. He was responsive, punctual and had it done with a quick turnaround. However, when I tried to reach out to him for a 2nd job, he responded halfway and disappeared. A month later, I tried to give his services one more try. All I sent was "are you available to fix a faucet leak?" and not even a reply. I will not be considering MFW for future jobs/projects.

Having been recommended to me by several local real estate professionals, I was extremely satisfied with my dealings with Marcin and his colleagues to paint a parlor level (high ceilings, intricate crown molding and woodwork) rental apartment. Quote was reasonable (somewhat less than 2 other quotes), and Marcin worked with me to cut back on the scope of the project to keep it within my budget but still result in a fresh look to the place. In addition, he was timely in his email / text responses, and kept to the timeline we agreed upon. I would absolutely use MFW again for painting, as well as for handyman-type projects I might have in the future.

I would highly recommend Marcin and MFW Home Improvements. He painted my condo to get it ready to sell. He arrived when he said he would, painted the walls, ceilings, and trim quickly and efficiently, and even did a few little extras I wasn’t expecting… like fixing the top of a door and filling in a little grout on counter. He connected me with someone who could do a final deep clean and the place looked amazing! I was very impressed and would definitely use him again for my painting needs.

I can't say enough about this company. They are efficient, affordable, reliable, and considerate. Plus no job is seemingly too big or small.

I contacted Leap Home Services yesterday and scheduled a fan installation for today. I had considered using another service, but Leap offered me the best price, the best scheduling, and they contacted me immediately. The tradesmen who installed the fan today were very professional, respectful, and efficient. Leap Home Services is a one-stop service. I will be using them for many future projects.

Leap Home Services did phenomenal work repairing my second floor deck as well as other interior projects. The craftsmanship and service I've received is an exceptional value. I have used Leap Home Services 2x in the past 3 years. This is a review of the 1st job which required the installation of a single row of tiles along the top edge of the existing tiles in the original 58 yr old bathroom. My very single requirement was that the top row NOT look like it was added to the original bathroom; it had to look original or else I would have been disappointed. Kevin, who took my initial call to collect some information, asked questions that made me immediately realize I was not dealing with the average handyman services. Within about 10 minutes into the phone conversation, he scheduled the work for me, told me exactly what supplies to have in place, and gave me a price. Within a short amount of time (maybe a couple of days) the worker arrived exactly on time, brought whatever he needed from his truck, did the work swiftly, confidently, neatly, and professionally in every way. He wasted no time whatsoever. In addition to the tile work he replaced 2 lights within the 2 hours he was here.
As soon as you speak to Kevin (owner) for the first time, you'll hang up the phone knowing without a doubt that he's respectful, friendly, very knowledgeable, and he's eager to satisfy his customer. I'll be having some painting soon, and I've already let him know I want him to do it, and there will be more projects coming for this 58 year old condo. I'm overwhelmed by his work!

Everything I said above applies to the 2nd project, which was the installation of a new stand-up stove and oven. This stove replaced my 58 yr old stove/oven unit which had a unique 1960's design and physical profile. This job required very specific carpentry skills as a result of the retrofit. I fired the previous very highly priced contractor after he completed about half the work in the span of 6 days after telling me that it was a 1-2 day job but never told me he would be doing it over a span of many days, leaving me with only a microwave oven for cooking. Kevin sent very good workers to my home, they showed up exactly on time, conducted their work in the same fashion as I described above for the 1st job. Within 2 hours of arriving, they looked at the situation and asked me very pertinent questions, went to Home Depot to pick up a few supplies, completed their work exactly as specified and departed. I find Kevin and his workers to be consistently stellar in every way.

We’ve just had Kevin’s team complete their forth project for us. Started two years ago needing to have some faucets replaced and doors adjusted and they have since demoed and installed a new deck, reconfigured part of our HVAC system and today finished replacing an old bay window with a more modern sliding window. They matched it perfectly to our existing windows. Kevin and his team will be doing more projects for us in the future. Best Thumbtack find!!!

We had a fantastic experience with Leap Services! From the start, Kevin was incredibly responsive—easy to reach by phone or text, and always clear in communication.

Lin did excellent work on several home upgrades: he installed two new bathroom vents, added a garbage disposal with a push-button at our kitchen sink (along with a new electrical outlet), and replaced our kitchen faucet.

Kai did a great job removing and installing our over-the-range microwave, and like the rest of the team, he was professional and efficient.

Everything was done with care and precision, and they cleaned up thoroughly after each job, leaving our home neat and tidy.

Another big plus: paying through Venmo was super easy and convenient—no checks or bank runs needed! We also received a detailed paid receipt, which is perfect for keeping track of home improvements.
