Evan and Alex did a quick ceiling repair for us after a leak in our plumbing. They were excellent. We can barely tell there was a patch in our ceiling after they were done. They are very communicative and friendly. Would recommend!

I had Evan check out a rotting support beam in my triple decker’s rear decks. It was bad and in a very difficult to access spot. He and his team got on it right away— ordered the correct size beam and got it installed within two weeks. They also installed a support beam in the basement where it was needed. He had his plumber come in right away when I had some heating issues, too. Finally— we’re planning for a spring project to scrape and paint the outside decks and replace rotten wood. I’m delighted to have found a contractor who’s so easy to work with and is honest about the most economical way to get the work done! Thanks, Evan.

My first experience working with Evan and his crew has been very positive. Evan was responsive and attentive. His crew was super nice and did a great job painting my baseboard. They even went a bit beyond and touched up some other spots. I have nothing negative to say about Luongo and I would highly recommend them! A good contractor is as rare as unicorns.

Got in touch with Evan through a friend after a previous contractor bailed on us. We couldn't be happier and I wish I went with Evan to begin with. He came out to us the very next day after we called to assess the job and him and his crew got right to work on fixing up what was left behind. Quality of work along with speed was excellent. Communication was also excellent, and Evan kept in constant touch with me each day, since I had to be away from the house a couple days. We have a lot of work left to do around the house and plan on continuing to use Evan and his team.

To showcase their work, let me tell you about our project. Our house came with a converted attic / loft with steep stairs in the room where our sons sleep. However, the loft had zero railings around it (how?!), the stairs had massive gaps between them, and the staircase was just an open gap below the handrail. Let's just say, it was incredibly dangerous for kids.

A friend recommended Evan's work, and he was very responsive in setting up a time to come out, and what made him stand out was that he not only understood our needs and initial ideas, but built off of that and proposed a really cool vision for how we could make the space safer (critical!) and also more usable (bonus!) He was so enthusiastic about the project, and his offer was also more than reasonable.

His team custom cut each individual slat to line the staircase and seal off the loft, while also letting light from the skylight shine through, and allowing us to keep our mini-split in place. He also filled in the gaps between the stairs to make it safer. Upstairs, he filled out the loft space, giving us extra usable room, and creating an adorable book nook for the kids, and we chose to give it an "exposed look" on the underside to go along with the general design of the space.

With a 150yr old house, every piece had to be custom built to the space, and his team built it beautifully! They took extra care to keep the space clean, left the house spotless, and even pivoted last minute from oil-based to water-based poly, so we could limit the smell and VOCs with kiddos around. I also can't say enough for how much care they put in to getting the coloring to be just right, spending a few extra days adjusting the stain color after the wood absorbed it in a really funky way.

Great company to choose if you’re okay with a toddler crying in the back of their worktruck while a fully grown, adult man carelessly flings slabs of concrete into the rented trailer because he’s annoyed that the toddler is crying.
To ruin your company’s reputation over a problem that YOU created is selfish, entitled, and embarrassing.
It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that throwing a “120-something pound” concrete pillar into a metal trailer-bed will be shocking, terrifying, and audibly painful to a child. You should be disgusted with yourself that you treated a child this way, and the company should be ashamed to have someone like this on payroll.
I will never recommend this company and will actively recommend against it wherever possible.

Great work from these guys. Evan was awesome. He was really responsive and came out quickly to get me an estimate for our bathroom repairs. He checked in frequently over the week or so that we were having work done to make sure everything was going well & that we were satisfied. Alex and Nick did a great job fixing my bathroom ceiling, everything is as good as new. We're satisfied with the work and the great service, they were all super nice and easy to work with. I hope we don't have any home repair emergencies again, but if we do, now we know who to call! :) Highly recommended.

The team did a great job installing a small fence for us. It wasn’t the easiest project given the layout, but they followed through and made it work. Everything looks much better now and makes a lot more sense functionally. They graded the area, cleaned up all the materials, and even added a latch and double-back hinges so we can easily lock it if needed. Really appreciate their work and would definitely reach out again for future projects!

We contacted Luongo Contracting to repair a leak originating from our roof. We had a lengthy list of small tweaks we wanted, plus a couple more involved projects. One was to add a solid structure to an open doorway above a staircase so that a baby gate could be securely installed. Another involved drywall adjustment so that we could hang our preferred bath cabinet. In both cases, finished work looked as if it’s “always been that way” – well matched to existing pieces.
