What started out as a fairly routine hot water tank replacement ended up getting complicated, requiring two different visits by two different techs in two days. These guys were fantastic!! And it all took place over Labor Day weekend…. I am grateful for their patience, professionalism and attention to detail. MAffei is definitely on my “go-to” list!!

I didn’t need a call out. My husband fixed it and I think we paid the 49 fee. Not sure. I was ecstatic when I booked the call out at 5:50 AM because I don’t have a regular plumber I can call. The quality of the service was excellent the two men who came out to my home were very polite very respectful and very thorough. The only thing that stopped me was the price in this case I'm afraid it was too high for me so I am going to a different vendor for my need only because it's not within their purview anyway it's a drain snake which is not what they do as a specialty so no offense taken and no offense meant

Came next day to service/repair AC Unit which is very, very old. Did what they could do and referred us to another company that handles warehouse units. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Even spoke to the other company to explain our issue. Also installed a toilet seat while here. A plus service. Will recommend and call again.

I scheduled a routine service/maintenance visit for my Navien water heater, which was installed in 2021 when the building was constructed.

During the visit, the technician did not run any diagnostic tests (no combustion analysis, no gas detector test, no CO measurements, no documentation). Instead, he stated that he “smelled gas,” said the heat exchanger was cracked, and immediately recommended full replacement of the unit ASAP.

No evidence, measurements, or test results were provided to support these claims. The gas was not shut off, the unit was not red-tagged, and no manufacturer (Navien) diagnostics or warranty process was initiated. The recommendation appeared to be based solely on visual inspection and smell, rather than proper testing.

After consulting additional sources and learning what proper diagnostics should include, it was clear that the conclusions presented were unsupported and felt like fear-based selling rather than an evidence-based service call and nothing is wrong with my Navien water heater.

I would strongly recommend not using this company and if you do use this company for service ask for documented test results before agreeing to any major repair or replacement.

Ryan arrived promptly and did a thorough inspection giving us the various options for correcting the problem. He was sensitive to the cost and time required to complete the project. He was very professional and effective in his work. We would definitely work with Ryan again.

I was really pleased with the service I received from Arty who came to restart my furnace. His explanation of the problem and potential permanent solutions was clear, informed, and helpful. In addition he tried valiantly to fix my gas fireplace and when he was unable to, he put me I touch with a company that could!

Great service! Water heater busted and needed a replacement. They were able to get everything fixed up less than 32 hours from initial discovery of the issue. Joey and Seth were efficient and courtesy. Pricing was fair and comparable. Would recommend. Had our furnace maintenance and repair found and fixed within a few hours.

Get three quotes and choose the middle one. I asked ChatGPT how much it would cost to get an oil burning Steam boiler replaced for an average sized home. It suggested between 10 and $15,000 the company that services my Boiler local company chose $10,000. I brought in a national provider. He said they’re going to be north of 20,000 then I brought in a guy from a regional local company. To shovel old man with bad posture, taking pictures volume of my room, measuring all the radiators and he was $17,000.

Had a kitchen sink drain pipe that came disconnected. Maffei was able to make an appointment for the next morning and put me on standby for the day I called. They ended up not being able to come the day I called but they were very communicative and called me and let me know without my having to wonder or track them down. The plumber came the next morning exactly when they said, and finished the work in less than an hour. Very helpful, and I was without my sink for less than 24 hours.

Kingston is amazing. I needed work done pretty quickly and Rhonda got right to me. I explained to her what my issue was and she was on point for what I needed. Joe listened and was up to doing the job . Permit pulled in less than 24 hours. Kingstons guys, Kyle and Gus good peeps! . So happy with them! Kingston is my saved plumbers. Good peeps!
