Electrical reviews in Saugus, Massachusetts

Nick was amazing—fast, professional, clean, and very reasonably priced. Found and fixed the outlet issue in no time. He’s our go-to electrician from now on!

I had electrical work done at my home in December and used Nick and his company again, as I had previously been satisfied with both the quality of the work and the pricing. Unfortunately, this time was a very different experience.

Nick came over with one other technician for what amounted to no more than three hours of work, and I was charged over $1,800. I was genuinely surprised and tried to have a reasonable conversation about the cost, but he was firm on charging that much.

While I ultimately paid the invoice to avoid a drawn-out disagreement, I was left feeling taken advantage of. The work may have been completed, but the lack of fairness in pricing means I won’t be using his services again or recommending him to others.

I would definitely recommend F. E.C. Electric. I needed to have new hardwired smoke detectors installed and Nick came out the same day I called to complete this small but important job. He was in and out in no time. It’s hard to find reliable people. I am very happy to have been referred to Nick.

Nick responded immediately upon my rcvng my email that I had no power. It was 8:30 at night and he sent over a fair estimate based on my pics, and came promptly at 5:30 a.m. and fixed the problem immediately. Very professional and nice. Will definitely use again. Ty!

Needed an outlet installed for an electric stove and my panel moved. Previous electrician installed the panel on a makeshift wall in the center of the basement, i wanted it against a wall.

Nick fit me in the schedule immediately and the work was done great. It's been about a year now and I've had no issues.

Later on I had a separate issue with my fridge tripping a breaker. He was able to troubleshoot with me over the phone and got it working again without even being here.

Would definitely recommend him for any electric work you need.

Nick and Tim did an awesome job in replacing our hot water heater. We called them at 3pm and thebworkbwas done before 6:30pm.

I have used FEC twice now for 2 jobs and both have been excellent to work with, very professional, and efficient. Highly recommend and will have back for future work. Nick and his team are top notch. It’s often hard to find companies to do work at you home - the communication and responsiveness of Nick and his team are appreciated. 5+ stars

It’s extremely rare where you can talk to the owner of a company now a days to discuss what work you need done. It’s even rarer for the owner to come out same day to look it over and give you an estimate and ideas for options. To top it off, Nick came out a couple days later and did our venting and install of a microwave over the kitchen stove. He also caught a couple other things that were damaged from prior work we had done on the house and fixed it on the spot. Can’t say enough great things about this company. If you need HVAC or electrical work done you are crazy not to go with them

Nick was great! Very neat and got job done completely in a short turn around time. Nick is very helpful if you have any electrical issues. He installed a very difficult ceiling fan chandelier he was very patient with also installing all the crystals. It’s beautiful. He also purchased and installed a day night outside light. Works great I would highly recommend Nick!

After searching on Thumbtack and having no luck with electricians following through, we found FEC Electric. FEC Electric were amazing. They came out immediately to look at the work we requested and gave us a quote. They were back the next day with the supplies needed for the job. We were impresssed with how knowledgeable, professional and efficient the team was. Of course, the outdoor lighting we had replaced looks amazing. Above and beyond our expectations. We will be requesting them back to install garage lighting for our next home improvement project soon.

We've had to call Nick a few times and he's always been prompt and professional. He's my go to guy and I appreciate his knowledge and responsiveness! Highly recommend!!

Nick and team were incredibly helpful getting a few lighting fixtures and outdoor cameras installed at our house. They were quick and reasonably priced. We will definitely use them in the future for other projects

Nick is a top notch electrician. He replaced my main panel and some other devices. His dad works with him. Nick’s pricing is reasonable and his work is great. He is always on time and does really neat work. Most importantly. He’s a real gentleman
