We were a bit disappointed by Rheana's job in our 3bd 1bath apartment this past weekend.

Starting with the positives: she was on time and willing to come on a Sunday, she got the wall to wall carpet in the living room cleaned (washed) and was dedicated in moving/tipping the couches to be able to clean as much of that carpet as possible, and she went that extra step in folding miscellaneous laundry in the bedrooms and making the beds.

The plan was for the work to take 4-4.5 hours with two people (8-9 hours total). She texted that morning and said the other person cancelled on her, so it would just be her. That's obviously out of her control, but she did not do 8-9 hours of cleaning. I didn't pay close attention to the time, but I think it was a bit over 5 hours (with probably 30 mins total of taking breaks etc.) - which for one person is amazing and I am grateful - but the job was not done at that point. This was something we didn't truly notice until she left. Looking back, I feel it would have made more sense for her to offer an additional time to come to finish the apartment (to spend a total of 8-9 hours working on it) if she was feeling too tired to do it all as she did not have a second person with her. If that wasn't possible, it would have made sense for us to get a discount (I sent her Apple pay payment ahead of time so we had no choice but to stick with her original quoted amount).

This was our first cleaning, so she said it would be a deep and more thorough cleaning so that the upkeep would be easier going forward. She started from one end of the apartment and worked her way through the rooms to the back end. She spent well over an hour in the first bedroom (which was also the biggest) but I think that was the longest she spent in any of the rooms. By the time she got to the kitchen and bathroom on the far end (so by hour 4), she missed some significant spots. She didn't clean the microwave (inside), fridge (inside or outside), or oven (inside). She did mop the floor (just with a swiffer, which was disappointing) but missed some spots, and the swiffer left a residue (I sat on the floor the day after while cleaning the fridge). She also said she doesn't wash dishes, which is okay, but if she had said something about that ahead of time, we would have done the dishes to clear the sink, because she couldn't/didn't clean the sink itself at all. In the living room, we left electronic cleaning wipes out by the TV, but she didn’t clean/dust it at all.

I walked into the shower that night and I think I ended up doing more cleaning in the bathroom than she did. There was soap scum etc. on the sides of the tub as well as the windowsill in the shower - I cleaned that off with a simple spray and sponge down. We keep the bathroom relatively clean to begin with, but I really couldn't tell what she cleaned in there.

In addition, it was after I paid her that I noticed there were multiple deals on Yelp that weren't offered to us. She did waive a $25 pet fee when I told her we had a cat, so at that point I figured I wouldn't ask about the discount. But I am bummed we didn't get a bit of a cut, especially since our total quote was higher than other cleaners I contacted (which I was hoping would mean she would have done a more thorough job).

I have not had enough housecleaners in my life to know what exactly is to be expected, but this was sub par for the price we paid (and for another cleaner we had for a deep clean in F). I did see good reviews for Rheana, so I am hoping it was sort of a combination of factors that had her off her game this day. But when we need another house cleaning, we'll be looking elsewhere.

Im disheartened to share that Rheana cleaned a family members house and stole a number of things out of a bedroom she was instructed to not go into. She has been unresponsive and has decided to be silent. She has been a cleaner in the family for many years and has ended a great piece of business/relationship. We have gone above and beyond to help her and her family as we relate on many levels with family members going through extensive medical treatment. Unfortunately due to these circumstances we would not recommend using Gemini Cleaners.

Gemini Cleaners has been cleaning my condo for about six months now and I could not be happier with their services. Rheana has been one of the most flexible people I’ve had the pleasure to have help with my home, coming at hectic times and at the last minute. Rheana offers excellent service from her standard cleanings to her detailed “in-depth” cleans that go for the nitty gritty in the home. Rheana is an ace in the cleaning world and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone in need of such services at a fair price. 5 Stars are too few for her.

My ceiling fans, baseboards, door frames, window frames and walls were all cleaned thoroughly! I have gone through a few cleaners because these were specific areas I asked to be cleaned (because I didn’t want to do them - lol) and no one came close to doing the job right like Gemini/Rheana did.
