I had the pleasure of working with John Ryan at Lucky Duck Pools. He installed a 16x32 in-ground vinyl pool for me in short notice after having bad experiences with previous pool companies and I have to say it came out great. I couldn’t be happier. He always follows up and made the whole process smooth and stress free and on top of that he is affordable, fair and most importantly he is honest. I am glad I contacted him because he made my dreams come true especially for my kids. If anyone is looking to have a in-ground pool or above ground or just looking to have any type of service for your pool he is the guy to call you won’t be disappointed.

These guys are great! My kids love our new heated pool so the swim season is so much longer! Totally recommend!

Called lucky duck this morning
(a 90 degree day!) for a frozen filter pump and they responded within an hour !
Bobby was awesome and fixed my issue quickly and we are back in business!

Great service, very professional. They listen to your needs and give good advice, too! New management is really trying. When I opened my pool this season, the water was green and I thought it's gonna cost me a fortune to make it clear. They advised me which chemicals to use, the way to use them and sold me just the right amount. My pool got clean in just a few days and it stays clean! I am happy to recommend Lucky Duck Pools to any current or future pool owner. Thank you!

I had the best experience with lucky duck pools. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. They came and reclined my pool quickly and seamlessly.

Avoid Lucky Duck Pools in Seekonk MA...probably the worst customer service I have ever received from a business. 4 different calls I had to make and still no call back. They do not stand by their work. They attempted to patch my pool liner and it failed(not the issue), the issue is have with this poorly run business. The lack of call back even after they said 4 separate times "let me talk to the technician and call you back" NO CALL BACK EVER! Lucky Duck Pools DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE... SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!

Response: Its not about you not fixing the pin hole leak, its about your terrible customer service and LACK OF RESPONSE/CALL BACK!
4 times I called and was told your company would call back and yet NO CALL BACK! I also didnt demand...the (2) technician that came out said they would come back if it didn't hold like they suspected. They were very confident they could fix it.

Called Lucky Duck Pools to open my pool (second year having my above ground pool), came out next day to open my pool! They were super responsive! The company who closed my pool last year didn't do a great job securing the cover and it fell in along with all the leaves that had gathered on top. Jordan and Robbie opened and set the equipment back up and once the pool cleared, Shining came out and vacuumed the pool. All of this within 3 days of me calling to have my pool opened for the season. While Shining was out here he noticed that it wasn't priming correctly, John sent out the expert he was here for 2.2 seconds and had it priming!!

I am so impressed with this company!! I have not had this type of customer service in a long while. The owner John was amazing through out. I appreciate this being such a great experience. Thanks again Lucky Duck Pools. I would definitely recommend your services to anyone.

I have referred Lucky Duck pools to many of my friends and family. That all spoke of how responsive , punctual,and satisfied they were with the work whether it was a new liner, decking, or a new pool!

DO NOT use this company! Anthony came to our house to provide a quote for a plunge pool. He gave us initial quote that was under previous quotes we received from other companies. We finally received the final quote after 2 weeks of false promises of sending it. It was significantly higher although we did not add any extras and actually requested a simpler model. It was obvious to us he underbid the pool initially and tried the bait and switch. I had a weird feeling about him during our first meeting and I should have backed out then. I would never recommend using them.

Response: I read the response and was floored. That’s an absolute lie to try to save face. We actually chose a lesser model. Also the fact the Anthony continually said he was going to send the quote and blew us off. We signed up with another company that was way more knowledgeable and professional.

Highly recommend. We were first-time pool owners and went with a competitor to start. That experience did not go well, but Lucky Duck was there for us. They stepped in and got our pool up and running again within days. Since then, they have continued to support us every step of the way. They will continue to be our go-to pool store, and I cannot recommend this company enough

My husband and recently started going to Lucky duck again as new ownership took over. Anthony the new owner and Steve his side kick are amazing to work with! We uncovered our pool it was green and they gave us the goods to clear it right up! They are affordable super helpful and when I needed a new piece for the pool Anthony had it in the back came out and even put the tape on it. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a go to pool place to check them out!!!!! We are even thinking about using their pool school service in the future!

Started using Lucky Duck last spring. Owner Anthony and manager Steve always have provided top notch service. I would not go anywhere else for my pool supplies and service.

I’ve used this company for both opening and closing my above-ground pool, but after this year’s closing I discovered a major issue: the water started draining out under the cover until only about six inches remain. My pool has never had a leaking problem until after they serviced it.
I reached out to the owner hoping to resolve the situation, but instead of listening to my concerns, he told me to refill the entire pool “to see if it drains again.” I explained that I didn’t want to waste money refilling thousands of gallons of water just to watch it leak out, and his response was, “it doesn’t cost that much. You live in Barrington, not East Providence,” implying that I should just be able to afford the cost. It was condescending, rude, and completely unprofessional.

I also explained, as a business owner in the trades myself, that I understand callbacks can be frustrating, but we just needed help resolving the problem. Instead of working with us, he told me he would charge a service fee—despite the fact that the issue only began after they closed the pool.

The owner took zero accountability and dismissed everything I said. The lack of customer service, respect, and responsibility is extremely disappointing.

I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable or professional pool services.

I had my filter media changed to the new glass media, and the customer service was excellent. The 2 guys who came to do the service were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. They were a pleasure to do business with.

I also had a great experience at the store when I initially went to lucky duck , because I had an issue with my pool being green with algae and not clearing. The owner told me exactly what products to add to my pool and promised my pool would be clear in 24 hrs, and he was absolutely correct.. next day after putting in the products the pool was blue and clear. Friendly service both in the store and at my house. Everyone I’ve dealt with so far with this company have been a pleasure to deal with. That’s not something you always get these days. The owner took the time to help me and was very knowledgeable, honest and friendly.
