Had a clogged sewer drain on a Saturday of all days. Called Drain Defense LLC and Hank was able to come that afternoon. He was able to get the drain open in a timely manner considering the clog. Very professional and courteous. I wish I could give 10 stars. Highly recommend and he is now in my contact list. Thank you Hank!!!

Excellent service to inspect and clear my kitchen drain line same day as requesting him to come out. He got there at 5:30 and left at 8:30pm on a Monday evening - which was appreciated from my end. He was professional and helpful in describing the issues at hand. Would recommend him to anyone else experiencing plumbing issues.

Great company with small town values. Answered the phone quickly ( amazing when other companies just let it go to voice mail ). Was able to get to my sewer emergency fast ( was at the house next day in the morning ). Very thorough and professional, makes sure you understand everything that's being done, and he's up front and honest. I would most definitely call again for regular maintenance or emergencies. I am very thankful for Heniek's company and his help.

After my first 3 attempts at finding a plumber, 3 hours after I called, 'Drain Buster' I met Hank for a complaint of a slow draining sewer line. And, I had 4 people coming to stay with me the next day. Same day service felt remarkable. With the latest in video technology, Hank showed me the roots and extent of the clog. He used a hydro jet to effectively cut through the roots and preserve the integrity of my 100 year old sewer pipe. Hank gave me helpful advice about my boiler and water heater, too. Hank is knowledgeable considerate, and did an excellent job clearing the line. Book me for preventative maintenance on my sewer line in a year!

Hank and his team came in on a weekend for an emergency with a smile, and fixed the issue quickly and with expertise. He responded to my emergency quickly and kept me closely updated on when he would be arriving. He also offered solutions and simple-to-understand upgrades I should consider to avoid potential future problems. Drain Defense was fairly priced, honest and effective. I'm grateful to have used their service!

Drain Defense was really great. I had a Drain pipe under my mobile home that needed to be replaced. I wasn't sure who to call. So I used Angie to find a plumber. Drain defence was the only company that responded. I received a call right away from one of there plumbers named Hank. He came out when he said he would and did a great job replacing the pipe. I couldn't thank him enough. I really appreciated his prompt and professional way he fixed my plumbing problem.

I would not recommend this business at all. Ive never been more disappointed. He was very eager to get to my house and give a quote and said he would be out in a few days to complete the job. I signed the contract. We scheduled a time and I took time out of work for him to not be prepared with the parts. He rescheduled for the following week and the day of I was told he cannot make it due to an emergency job. We rescheduled for the next available time and he completed half the job. I paid most of the amount then spent weeks asking when he could come back and he kept scheduling dates but canceling day of due to emergency jobs. When I questioned him, he claimed his business was an emergency business. This was not told to me upfront. After 3 weeks of getting nowhere, I had to contact an alternate business that knew this guy. The alternate business contacted Drain Defense and he finally came out. When he arrived, he completed half of what was left of the job then forgot more hardware to complete the job. He had to come back later that evening to finish the job. He ended up stripping out the hardware breaking one of the screws in my concrete. I brought it up to him and he did not care. I expressed by disappointment and he said nothing. He was just waiting for the remainder of the money. Additionally, he never masked off the area although it was part of the quote and in photos that he shared of previous jobs. You might be wondering about all the 5 star reviews with my 1 star review. Well he offers $50 back to give a review.

I would absolutely call on Drain Defense again for both planned (and unplanned) drain needs! The owner responded to my Saturday emergency, got out to us within a couple of hours, and fixed our flooded basement for a fair price. He shared maintenance information with us also. I will be recommending Drain Defense to my friends and family if they ever need sewer/main repairs.

I called Hank to have him come to my house and fix a very slow draining kitchen sink. He showed up when he said he would and resolved the issue quickly. Hank was friendly and respectful and did an outstanding job. I couldn’t ask for better service and will be calling him whenever I need a plumber in the future.

Very disappointing. I called Henry about noon on a Friday to replace a kitchen sink hose. He said he'd do the job and be at my house in South Hadley about 4:30 or 5:30pm. At 6:30 I texted and called him to see if we were still on. He never responded. If he was unable to make it that day I would have understood--but no call or text. A terrible way to run a business.

I had a n excellent experience with Hank! He came to inspect and give an estimate on property we'd like to buy. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely hire him to do the work once we close on the house.

I have used him personally and with my clients. I’m a realtor in Ma & Ct my clients requested a sewer inspection last minute. Heniek scheduled us right away and was very knowledgeable and reasonable!!

Use at your own risk:
Day 1: City of Westfield recommended Drain Defense LLC after flushing the main and determining we had a clog in our pipes. We called Henry, he gave us a quote and came out right away. I showed him to our 1 bathroom, gave him access to the basement, and allowed him to get to work. After a while, he said everything was all set and working properly. He left a huge mess but I was grateful to have a working toilet so I thanked him, paid him $600, he left, and I began the process of cleaning my way to the bathroom so I could try it out. Upon lifting the lid, I could see there was no water in the toilet bowl. I flushed, the bowl filled up, nothing went down. I called Henry and he said he could return the following day late morning.

Day 2: Called and texted him at noon, no answer. At 330pm, I received a text that he had a family emergency.

Day 3: Called and texted in the morning. Received a text that he was busy but would call me back. Have not heard from him since

Day 5: Tried him one last time in hopes that he was actually a decent human being, no luck.

I get that I'm an idiot for not flushing the toilet before handing over $600 cash, but either he didn't flush it either to check if his job was actually finished, or he did check and was lying when he told me it was all set. Either way, I would not recommend this business.
