TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE John and Joe installed a sump pump that failed immediately, our basement flooded after every rain.

They ignored our repeated complaints and blamed the weather instead of fixing the problem. When we pushed for help, John was extremely rude and tried to charge an extra $500 just to come back.

Another plumber confirmed they used a cheap, low-quality pump.

Unprofessional, overpriced, and unreliable. Avoid at all costs.

Unfortunately, my experience was not positive. I found the service to be unprofessional, costly, and inconsistent. I would not use them again.

Hired to replace an old garbage disposal and had an easy and quick appointment! Even got my running toilet looked at with no fuss.

Should be zero stars. Paid Rizzo Plumbing to run a kitchen vent up the wall but they decided to run it outside the kitchen wall and tie it into the bathroom plumbing. They told me to just cut holes in all my new kitchen cabinets and slide them down the pipe. They also put the down pipe in the middle of the kitchen floor instead of in the wall which made it impossible to put my dish washer back in place.
Dishonest, rude and incompetent company.

Was wowed this morning !!! Went to bed last night with no hot water. Called Rizzo early in the am and left message. Owner John called back promptly, was out within 20 minutes and we had hot water shortly after that's what I call great service!!

Rude and don't know how to run a business. Didn't show up to a scheduled appointment that my boyfriend left work and commuted home from Boston for. No one bothered to call and cancel or respond to messages that were left with the office and with the plumber directly. My boyfriend got John on the phone the next day and he simply said he didn't want to work with us. Terrible business practice and bad person overall.

Great experience with Rizzo Plumbing. We called and they came out the next day and completed everything we asked of them. The owner was nice and great to deal with. The person who answers the phone was responsive and helpful. We will use them again in the future!

I’ve never had this bad of an experience. The worst company ever, He was very unprofessional and rude. I have never spoken to someone with this much ignorance. I suggest not doing business with this company/people. There are tons of better companies out there. If I could give a 0 star rating I would.

If it were possible to give them 0 stars I would. I have tried to hire this joke of a company two times now and had a horrible experience both times. The first time I called, Judy in the office informed me that she would have John call me to schedule an appointment to come look at the job. No one ever called me back or returned my phone calls, so I hired someone else to do the job. Then, John randomly shows up in my driveway one day saying he was here to do the job - well, since they had never returned my calls to schedule an appointment, the job had been completed by a more competent plumber.

Fast forward to this week. I am having issues with my hot water heater and decided to give Rizzo another chance because they are local and other reviews were good. What a mistake that was! Again, I spoke to Judy in the office who said John would call. John did actually call this time and scheduled an appointment for 2:30pm. I left work early and came home to meet him, but he never showed up. Multiple calls to his cell and the office were not returned. I was finally able to get in touch with John this morning and what does he say? He did drive by my house yesterday and realized he had been here before, and that I had hired someone else (again, I only hired someone else because he never returned my calls). Because of that interaction, John decided he didn't want to do work for me and didn't have the decency or professionalism to even call me back. As far as I am concerned John is a child and he acts like one too...and he has no idea how to run a small business. So I took time away from work and now I still don't have someone to fix my hot water heater. If anyone is considering using this company, think again. DO NOT USE RIZZO PLUMBING UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

I have never written a review before but felt the need after seeing the other reviews. I have hired Rizzo two or three times now and the same two young guys have done the work and they are really polite and always on time. They are really efficient compared to other plumbers I have hired. The owners are always really quick to call me back when I leave a message. Best plumbing company I have found in the area.

I LOVE working with Rizzo. We have used Rizzo for a beautiful and clean oil to gas conversion. They also installed a new bathroom sink and while the plumber was there he noticed that we should probably update and repair the shower/bath fixtures as well. Everything was done cleanly and efficiently. Kathy and Judy, who have helped us with quotes and schedules, are friendly and professional. Both Mikes have done a great job with their installations. And an extra shout out to John for being very patient with my stupid questions. Professional, affordable, honest, and punctual service. Overall great experiences.

So happy I found Rizzo Plumbing. Had two jobs done at my home. They were very thorough and very knowledgeable. Everyone very pleasant from appointment to finish.

I've used Rizzo 3 times now in the past 6 months, and every time has been great. First, when I converted from oil to gas heating using the Mass Save loan, and the system they installed is a work of art. Second and third times were for my bathroom sink and shower and those were done quickly and efficiently. Everyone from the owner(John I think) to the 2 Mikes who work for him have been nothing but professional.

Simple job to disconnect and reconnect kitchen sink. Was disconnected and when I came home was bubbling hot water into the finished basement ceiling and walls. Resulted in half the basement room being torn down to the stud and redone. John said to send the bill along and they would help make it right. Month goes by with no reply from them. Finally get them on the phone and John immediately begins using profane language and telling me they are not going to do anything so send it to insurance. Was left with about 5k in damages. Do not recommend using them at all.

Mike from Minuteman plumbing managed my oil to gas conversion and he was outstanding. He had great communication and was able to finish the project quickly and on time while also guiding me on the steps to take to sign up for gas through National Grid. I highly recommend Minuteman for this project.

Jaden did a fantastic job. Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend him!
