We are so pleased with the transformation of our backyard; since it has been completed we have rarely spent time inside! Dragonfly created an outdoor space that we didn't believe possible. Tim and his team were amazing to work with from day one, they brought a vision to life. Always professional, and always responsive, we cannot recommend them enough. Words cannot accurately capture how wonderful it is to work with Dragonfly and the end result they've provided to enhance our home. We engaged Tim to design quite the project - front, back, landscaping, pool, patio and firepit - and he worked with us to capture our dream outdoor living space. He also patiently and professionally worked with us to strategize how to build our project in phases, over the next several years. Our first phase of the patio, firepit and lighting design and build just completed this week and we are thrilled!! We finally have a space to use in our backyard that was otherwise un-usable. Tim, John, Gabe and their team were professional, responsive, friendly and meticulous in their work and their hard work now shows in a beautiful space for my family to enjoy. As if that isn't enough, when a complication arose for a separate project we were working on, Tim graciously stepped in to offer his perspective, and swiftly found solutions for us. I can't speak highly enough of our experience with Dragonfly and we can't wait to engage them for the next phases of our ongoing project!

We got in touch with Dragonfly Design through a friend who got their pool and backyard done with Dragonfly. We were very impressed by the work they had done, and engaged with them to build our bar/kitchen. Dragonfly has done a fantastic job, the team of Tim, Gabe, John and all others are wonderful to work with. Very professional, courteous, and the work is very clean and tidy. They inform ahead of time about the schedule, and after full day of work, they would clean the entire place. We are very happy with the work and would highly recommend Dragonfly for everyone looking to get their backyard transformed.

We recently used Dragonfly for a backyard revamp that included a patio, bar area, a screened room under our existing deck, and some landscaping, and are so glad we did. Thoughtfulness of design, responsive communications along the way (no question/email went unanswered by John/Tim, and in a timely manner), quality of materials, and the quality of the workmanship (Gabe and team were amazing) were all at/above expectations (and we have high expectations). Clean up was good which was important to us given small children who get into everything. Excellent drainage away from the area. It has really held up with all the rains we have had. It is clear they put a lot of thought into every detail and Gabe is great at assessing on-site slight tweaks to maximize the design (without changing budget). We are excited to start using it more frequently with warmer weather/summer coming! Thank you Dragonfly team for giving us the backyard of our dreams!

Hardest and most meticulous workers we’ve ever encountered…..always seeking our thoughts as to whether the stone work was meeting our hopes and expectations. They had good ideas as to how the design could be improved upon. We would definitely recommend Dragonfly!

I worked with Dragonfly Design to replace my back patio, the side entrance to my house, and front steps and walkway. It was a pleasure to work with Tim, John, Gabe and all of the crew. They were all fantastic and incredibly responsive. Through the whole process, every time they said they would do something, whether it was delivering samples, providing the quote, or the work start date and duration they without fail delivered exactly as promised.

We hired Tim and the team to redesign the front walkway to our home and to install a stone veneer on a large retaining wall, in our driveway. They did a fantastic job! We are extremely pleased with our new backyard designed and built by Tim and his crew at Dragonfly Design and Build LLC. Tim created an artistic and functional design for our yard and worked with us to tailor that design to our specific needs. He turned what was literally a bare patch of land into a terraced getaway with natural steps and a winding footpath through custom raised beds, bespoke fire pit, hot tub area, a small lawn, low maintenance (yet beautiful) plantings, and stunning path and accent lighting. He uses quality materials and has the expertise to choose the best plants for the site. His team is knowledgeable and respectful. His work is impeccable. I've owned several homes and completed numerous landscaping projects over the years. I can say, unequivocally, Dragonfly is the best company I have ever worked with.

Used Dragonfly years ago to replace my small deck with a nice patio with grill, fire pit, sitting wall, etc. we use that space so much we wanted to extend the patio this year. Last fall Dragonfly completed an absolutely beautiful pool and patio for our home and we cannot recommend them enough! Tim patiently worked with us on various designs at different price points for the project and the final design was stunning. Tim had an incredible eye for how to transform our space as well as great knowledge of how to insure proper water flow and drainage on our property. Tim guided us to a stunning backyard paradise. If you are looking for sophisticated patio and pool design and in-depth knowledge of landscape, Dragonfly has it. In short - you can completely trust Dragonfly. They handled all aspects of the project - coordinating the pool install, fence, hydroseed, etc… Each professional that arrived to our home was incredibly competent and professional - by far the best in the industry. Tim, John, Gabe and the entire crew are humble, hard—working, and experts at what they do. In addition, they are true gentleman. The final project was absolutely spectacular. On their website Dragonfly states that they take pride in completing their projects to exceed your expectations and they do! We had a hill on the side of the house that was difficult to mow and maintain. We decided to put in a row of hydrangeas to combat this issue and act as a natural fence. We had several companies out to quote this endeavor. Dragonfly was not the cheapest but they were by far the most thorough in their estimate and detail of how they would tackle the project. John also provided guidance based on his expertise of where to put the plants, where to add rocks, how much mulch to add, etc. When Gabe and the laborers came, they were friendly and efficient. They asked questions when they needed input from me at certain points before proceeding. They used a backhoe, which drastically sped up the time it took to complete the project (about 5 hours). The big leaf hydrangeas they selected were also beautiful and hearty and look great 3 weeks later. Overall we are very satisfied with the work that was completed and would use Dragonfly for future projects.

We had Tim and his crew install a fire pit and sitting wall along with outdoor lighting. We had a great experience from the initial meeting with Tim to the final completion. Tim and his team were professional, easy to work with and responsive to all our requests. The quality of their work was outstanding and we highly recommend them for outdoor projects. We have been working with Tim, John & Gabe and the rest of the crew from Dragonfly for the past 2+ years on several projects and we are extremely happy with all that they have done (we keep adding more)! We started off only knowing that we wanted to do something with a side hill in our back yard and would like a fireplace/sitting area and maybe down the road a pool. After going through some scenarios, Tim & the team came up with a 3D Virtual tour of their vision (with & without pool), which we NEVER could have imagined, including tiered gardens/walls, waterfalls, beautiful fireplace with gorgeous pavilion, under deck patio, etc! After a little tweaking, they went to work. While that project was going on, we then asked for front yard work (heated walkways, turf area for dogs, stone facade, gardens, sod, etc). Long story short, they have basically transformed our entire outdoor space into our own private resort! At night, it comes alive with all their perfectly placed lighting throughout. We can both be very Type A at times too and they always accommodated our, I'm sure, annoying tweaks/adds/ etc. We would also like to give a shout out to Gabe that does incredible construction/finish work and all the guys that worked through both extreme heat and the winter, in the snow, installing the stone facade to not only all the walls, but our house as well! They recommended & coordinated with all other contractors(Turf company, electrical, pool, irrigation, etc) as needed, which made it all go as smooth as possible. They are all true professionals!! We appreciate them all and all their hard work!

We have used Dragonfly once before to build a pool patio deck and when we needed a lower patio renovation, we knew we would hire them again. Tim, John, Gabe, Ben and the team are outstanding. Not only do they do great work, the are all super friendly and easy to work with. They go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with the project and even helped move furniture out of the way and replaced it when finished. As for the job they do, it is exceptional. They renovated a large patio and built a gorgeous walkway and stairs down a steep grassy slope in about seven working days. We thought it would take twice as long. Their attention to detail is great. After the job was complete, Ben saw a paver that just didn't look right. He painstakingly hammered it out and replaced it. I was very impressed because it made a difference. They also fixed a couple of boulders by the pool that had come loose no questions asked! One of the best parts is the design process. You can see what the project will look like and make any changes early before breaking ground. And if some other changes come up during the build, they do everything possible to make it work. The best compliment we get is how nice the yard is and who built it! We would not hesitate to hire Dragonfly Design and Build again. Thanks guys and and keep up the great work.

Excellent Work! Just perfect execution from for sales call, to the design process, to implementation of our walkway project. On time, worked hard, and protected my property. John, Gabe, and the entire crew went above and beyond to be sure the project exceeded expectations. The end result was a perfect walkway/patio project with all landscaping looking better than when they arrived. This is our second project from Dragonfly Design & Build and I recommend considering them if you want a project that is perfect from first call to finished product. Walkway is perfect!

We recently had our backyard transformed by dragonfly design build LLC, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. We were working within a very tight space and the design that Tim came up with was far beyond anything we could have imagined. They were even able to utilize an otherwise unusable area on the corner of our house by building it up and creating a beautiful fire pit area. Tim, John, Gabe and the rest of the Dragonfly crew are amazing. From start to finish, the project was very collaborative and enjoyable. It all started with a 3-D video walkthrough of the design, which provided a much better vision of the project than an aerial view alone. The build out phase was efficient, professional and meticulous. The team made some design modification recommendations along the way, which enhanced the final product, but did not increase the budget.
We wanted to make sure we worked with the best because we often heard others tell us that they wished they worked with someone else when doing their patio projects. Dragonfly is that someone else.
