Constraction reviews in Uxbridge, Massachusetts

Shine Construction, Inc. has set a new standard for excellence in quality of work and customer service. Manny, the owner, and his crew went above and beyond my expectations in all aspects of the project. I have never been so impressed by the performance of a contractor crew. From introduction, quoting, the day of the project and through to the finish, Manny and his crew were prompt, courteous, helpful, flexible, extremely hard working, and kind.

The quote was one of the best prices of the 4 quotes that I received for stripping two layers of shingles, replacing the roof on the house and two sheds, creating a new ridge vent, replacing several gutters and downspouts, and repairing the chimney as well.

On the day of the project, I was pleasantly surprised as Manny and his crew manager began texting me photos from the roof to my phone to keep me up to speed as the project progressed. Photos of the stripped roof, all the rotten boards that were found, the new replacement boards, the new gutters, new lead around the chimney, new shingling, all came to my phone essentially real time as I was sitting inside the house. This was especially helpful when the crew discovered a problem around the base of my chimney at the roofline. Manny documented the problem, came to review it with me, made a run to the hardware store, took care of the issue, and documented the repair.

The house was draped with tarps to collect the old roof debris and to protect the yard and plants. I was impressed and thankful that they did such a fantastic job protecting the plant beds around the house and how thorough the yard was cleaned. It was amazing to see the house and yard turn into a construction zone in the morning and to be completely cleaned up and looking great by the end of the day. The new roof looks amazing and I have had no issues since the roof was completed.

If you are looking for excellent quality, price, and customer service, look no further, choose Shine Construction, Inc. Manny and his crew clearly take pride in the quality of their work and service. I highly recommend Shine Construction.

I would like to give a HUGE shout out to Manny and the entire crew from Shine Construction, who just spent 12 hours at our house, replacing our roof and assorted rotten trim. From the very first contact with Manny until clean up today, everything was top notch. We were provided a quote in a very timely manner, at which time we were handed an amazingly well organized folder full of information. He answered all of the questions we never knew we had about roofing, followed up in a non-pushy manner, and was on time EVERY time we met with him. He was also super responsive via text when I had any questions in the interim. We received photos all day long today of each part of the process (from the bare plywood all the way to the full install), and not only does our roof look fantastic, but our yard looks even better than it did when they arrived here this morning! 5 stars, A+, amazing job! I have pretty high standards when it comes to hiring contractors, and I recommend these guys without hesitation.

We are very happy with the work done by Shine Construction. The entire process was made very easy by Diego and his crew. Diego is very knowledgeable about roofing, and he clearly detailed the specifics of our job and the cost when we first met with him. The crew, led by Algelis, did a great job, getting the job done in one 12-hour day, from prep through to clean-up. We would highly recommend Shine Construction to anyone looking to replace their roof.

Had a problem with my roof. Shine Construction responded in less than 24 hours to assist. Excellent service @ a fair price. Highly recommended!

I am extremely pleased with the work Diego and his team completed on my home. When my husband and I wanted to get vinyl siding done, we spoke to a number of companies about the process. Shine not only gave us the most reasonable quote but also completed the project in a timely fashion. Within a couple of weeks, the old shingles had been stripped, and we had new siding. Throughout the entire process, Diego was communicative and answered all of our questions promptly. We now have a house that looks brand new. I cannot recommend Shine enough!

I hired Shine recently to replace the aging roof of my old home, and I could not be happier with my experience. The process had been a nightmare until Shine showed up. They were professional, calm, intelligent, clear, and did great work. The day-of went really well, cleanup was great, and everyone did a good job. I will absolutely use Shine again.

My family and I have enjoyed working with you all. Shine Roofing has been a smooth and easy roof replacement. Shine Roofing’s team has met a professional level that is unbeatable. You will have plenty of business referrals coming from my family to yours. It is a distinguished pleasure working with your company/family. They almost completed my roof in one day IN 30 DEGREE weather!!!! Upfront cost clear. Team is amazing efficient. Clean as a whistle after!!! Manny is amazing!!!!

I found Shine Construction through a Google search. I called and requested a site visit appointment for the next day, and they graciously agreed to the appointment. It was a day with a snowstorm alert, and I had forgotten about it. When I realized, due to the parking bans, I wasn't expecting the Shine representative to show up on such a stormy day. However, Mr. Lenin rang my doorbell two minutes prior to the appointment time. Mr. Lenin patiently listened to my concerns, explained all the benefits of the service, and finally provided a quote with the lowest price that Shine could offer for the job of replacing my roof. Mr. Lenin's demeanor was excellent throughout our interaction. He was professional, courteous, and attentive, which made the experience very positive. After three days, I handed Mr. Lenin the town permit and asked if the weather would be favorable for him to complete the job within the next two days. Mr. Lenin, after checking, said that they can start the job in two days and finish it in a day. I specifically told him that besides signing a check, I personally didn't want to be involved, and I wanted everything to proceed smoothly and cleanly. His polite response was, 'I won't say anything now, but we'll show you how we do the job, and then we can discuss this after the job is done. The inspector from my insurance company praised Shine Construction, stating that their estimate is the best and fairest in the neighborhood. He has adjudicated many claims due to wind and rain damage in my neighborhood and said that Shine's estimate is a fair estimate, and he has no questions about Shine's estimate. Choosing Shine during this recession and inflation period helped me to get fair prices and reduced the burden on my insurance company. I would gladly hire Shine Construction for any future jobs at my home, and I strongly recommend this company for their exceptional work. The entire crew deserves a huge thanks from me, especially Antonio (the man), Jose, Manuel, Ana Maria, Jorge, George, Joylucas, and supervisor Algelis. They are the best!

Shine construction did an amazing job on our house, we have used them before to replace windows and decided to have a major renovation done, they removed the old vertical wood from the house replaced any pieces that had rotted then installed certainteed house wrap
Then we opted to have insulation board installed then vinyl siding installed we had white trim all around which made the color pop.
The guys are hard workers only stopping to take their lunch break, I would definitely recommend them for your next project.

Due to wind/ice/snow damage and age we had to replace our roof. I called several companies and went with Shine based on reviews and cost (not the most expensive and not the least). The staff at Shine were so helpful from the start to the finish. Lenin even came out to meet the insurance adjuster. The crew was professional and everything was completed in 2 days. The clean-up was impeccable, not 1 thing to be found in the yard. I was talking to a woman last night who also had Shine do their windows and she said the same things. Highly recommend Shine!

Manny and he’s crew from Shine construction were amazing. I hired Shine construction to replace my roof trim and rotten wood .The workmanship was top notch. They delivered what they offered. The professionalism and attention to detail I couldn’t say enough. All my questions were answered. When we met for the quote he gave me a folder with all the information I needed to go over as he explained the process and came with all the samples of different materials that would be utilized in the project. Manny and his crew kept me informed and as they found issues in the roof they would send me pictures of absolutely everything that was found and needed replacement. The crew was so polite respectful responsible and everything was extremely clean once the job was done. He said the job would take 2 days and it was finished and all cleaned up in exactly 48 hrs and that meant a lot to me. Honesty is key for me and I would recommend this company to anyone.

I just got my roof replaced by Shine Construction. Enjoy my experience with Manny and his crew. Very professional and hardworking. Great communication. The crew even sent me photos when the job was in progress when they were on the top of the roof to keep me informed. They started early and finished late. I got my entire roof replaced in 3 days, including all of my plywood. They left my attic and yard clean. I highly recommend it to everyone. Now I don’t have to worry about my roof anymore because I know I am covered with GAF 50 years UHD shingles and with a job that was done right.

Excellent Service from Shine Construction!
I couldn’t be happier with the work done by Shine Construction. Their team was professional, punctual, and detail-oriented from start to finish. They communicated clearly, completed the job on time, and the quality of their workmanship exceeded my expectations. It’s rare to find a company so dedicated to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Shine Construction to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and skilled contractors!

Shine was very easy to work with. They were the only company that was able to come out within 1-2 days after our roof started leaking. Victor came out for an in person consultation and he was wonderful. He answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed at all. The quote came back and their pricing is very fair. The roof was completed today and we couldn't be happier! Thank you Victor, Manny, John, and all the other hardworking guys that helped install our beautiful new roof!

Shine knows roofing. They weren’t the most expensive or the least expensive of 5 quotes but they offered the most service, benefits, better products and high level of attention to details and supervision! There was a team lead available through the whole process with easy text access. They used a drone to document everything and showed us exactly which pieces of plywood that needed to be replaced…and we knew this in advance because they checked out the attic during the sales process. They did everything they said they would and multiple times they picked up old roofing nails. Lenin in particular was excellent at answering every question during the sales process and came to check on the job. The whole team works as a single unit; everyone knows their job and does it well. And when the team leader didn’t like a small detail he made his team change it. We were impressed and knew we made the right decision when we selected them. They are one of the top 3 roofers in Northbridge.

I can't say enough positive things about this company. Diego and his crew were extremely professional. They did an excellent job replacing a very wide span on the side of my Victorian home, extremely high up, with a heavy duty 6' gutter. Would always get back to me and the price was very fair! Don't hesitate to call them.

We needed to replace our roof and called several roofing companies for estimates, Manny from Shine Construction (highly recommended from our local moms group) was the first to come to our house to do the estimate and provided us sample roofing materials and brochures. It helped us to choose what we wanted easily! His estimate was very reasonable and was in the middle range among all our estimates. On the days of work, supervisor John reported work progress constantly with pictures taken from drone! The crew members worked very hard from very early morning to late afternoon and finished work in 2 days with thorough cleanup at the end! Manny's team is very professional, effective and hard working! I highly recommend Shine Construction! Now we have a beautiful new roof!

Manny and his team at Shine Construction did a new roof on my home i can't say any negative they did a fantastic job cleaned up after they where done if you need any work done Shine is the one to call

Diego and the Shine Construction Team did a great job from quoting to clean up. Their strength is their work product and I really appreciated seeing everyone in their safety gear and the hourly updates on progress with drone pictures. Truly a first rate company and product.

We cannot fully express our gratitude for what Manny and his team has done. Our house has been transformed into our dream house, with a new roof, siding, new front portico, and a new large covered back deck. They created architectural details and structure that complimented the style of our home; the front is more welcoming, and the back has become our favorite place to entertain. The house is beautiful, but it is the quality of the structure and build that sets this company apart from many others. The work ethic for the Shine Construction team is exceptional, working long hours to complete the project as quickly as possible while maintaining a superior standard.
