After running through three other landscaping services, we finally ended with Mike and MF. I knew when I first interviewed him (we met him before anyone else) that they were going to be great, but we tried to pinch a penny. Don't make the same mistake. Start with the best, every detail will be cared for and every decision will be sound. You can trust MF.

Mike and team did an amazing job on our lawn which was in need of a complete overhaul after just purchasing the home. They were very affordable, timely, and overall true professionals. I would recommend MF for any mulching, weeding, reseeding, pruning, and/or mowing that you need done to your yard. A great experience!

MF Landscape guided us thru a significant yard project, tree removal, grading of the land, irrigation and hydroseeding. Mike was a true partner and professional from the start. He helped us decide how much removal we should be doing, and where we shouldnt bother wasting our money. He is sensible and thoughtful with his approach and has a good eye for space and landscape. He helped recommend and project manage the other vendors brought in for the project and has continued to follow up with us and check in on the progress of the yard weeks after we completed. They were wonderful to work with and helpful till the end.

We have used MF Landscape & Design for heavy Spring and Fall cleanups and all the edging and mulching for our home in Walpole. The results are wonderful. I cannot say enough about the responsiveness and politeness of Mike Freiberger and his crews. Mike listens to what you want, makes recommendations, but is never dismissive or pushy. You get exactly what you want and the outcome is beautiful. My wife and I walk several miles each morning and began noticing some lovely landscaping and architectural gardens (walls, walkways, etc.) throughout the neighborhood in recent years. All were managed by MF Landscape so when we needed some help, our choice was clear. We could not be more pleased!

MF Landscape does an excellent job of keeping the outside of our home looking great. They provide a consistent service every week and Michael is always an email or call away if you need something in particular answered. Our family uses MF for our weekly lawn maintenance, fertilizer and seasonal clean ups. In the winter, they provide snow removal services as well. They are experts in keeping your lawn look green so if you are in the market for a nice looking yard, consider MF Landscape.

We hired MF Landscape and Design for a new lawn installation, plantings, walkway, patio and firepit. Mike goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers. His entire crew were extremely courteous and professional. The finished product far exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend MF Landscape and Design for any landscaping services needed.

This guy Mike hired my son not only did he hire my son my beautiful son passed on a motorcycle and Mike took care off the whole funeral paid for everything he gave 20 thousand for my son to rest in peace I don’t know how I will ever pay this man back .im truly thankful for him giving his mother time to grieve instead of trying to find money to bury our son ! MF Landscape did a phenomenal job installing our new front walkway. Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful during product selection and design and the team worked incredibly fast on the installation. Great service from start to finish.

landscape maintenance, as well as irrigation, new plantings, and some stone work. The team is professional and responsive, and does an excellent job staying on top of things so our grounds are always looking their best.

I have been using MF Landscape and Designs for just about 6 years. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating. His crews do a great job and if there's ever an issue with anything, Michael is quick to respond and make things right. MF does it all for us, including snow removal.

Mike and his team do a great job throughout the entire year taking care of the property. We’ve used MF for lawn maintenance and treatments as well as larger projects, like tree and stump removal and new lawn installation. They’ve done a great job with everything. They take on a lot of work in our neighborhood and seem very organized internally. Pricing seems fair and reasonable, especially given the high quality of results.

MF Landscape did a great job installing our new front walk and steps. Mike was very helpful from beginning to end... he showed us various options for our project gave us pros and cons to each idea. The people who installed the walk were professional, friendly, and timely in their work. We highly recommend MF Landscape and would use them for future projects.

Mike and team helped us through a large landscape remodeling project. We rebuilt the shed in our backyard, redesigned the landscaping in our front and back-yard, built a hardscape patio, and a pergola. Mike and his team helped us through multiple drafts within the very detailed design phase, scheduling, and actually getting the project done. Mike was on-site every day to help guide his team and work with us to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. We liked working with the team so much that we hired them to manage the ongoing maintenance of our lawn. Could not recommend Mike and his team at MF Landscape & Design more highly.

We just recently switched to MF Landscape and Design. What a breath of fresh air! No arrogant designers and property managers- just doers. Mike thinks for you. If he and his crew see something in need of fix/work in your yard - they send an email or call and it’s gets done immediately. You don’t need to sign off and wait weeks/months for it to happen. Mike and his staff are a pleasure to work with!

MF installed a patio, stone wall and walkway with lighting in our backyard this past year. Mike was very easy to work with and responsive to all communications. The design process was amazing. It was so helpful to be able to see our ideas come to life. The team that did the work was also great--very friendly and great to work with. We get many compliments on the project. We are so happy we selected MF to do this project!

I recently prepared my home for sale and requested a quote from MF to have my front lawn replaced. I was contacted promptly by the office manager Christine, who was exceptionally detail oriented. Mike provided an incredibly reasonable estimate and promised the work would be done by the date of the open house. He honored his word, and had a large crew there shortly afterward to complete the work in a single day. His foreman Francisco was exceptional. He kept the sod in the shade to protect it while his crew removed our existing lawn and prepared the site. The sod installation was flawless (stapled in place to prevent it from moving + edges contoured to planting bed). At the end of the day, both Mike and Francisco followed up to discuss the necessary watering schedule to maintain the new lawn. It has been a week since the job, and the yard has never looked better. I cant thank MF enough. When I have further landscaping work to be done, MF will be the only call. Thanks again!!!

We are so happy that we went with MF Landscape & Design: we had met with a TON of landscapers and contractors in order to do a major redesign on our exterior: we tore out a deck, put in a patio (including two sets of steps), cleared a ton of trees, leveled the yard, moved and repaired few different rock walls, the list goes on! Mike was by far the most responsive person/company we talked to when we were deciding on who to go with, and that didn't change throughout the multi-year project. We didn't use MF for the backyard design but I wish we had, we used them for the front and it was much more efficient. Mike worked with us through every stage of the project(s), offered to and came by our home several times to walk through exactly what needed to be done, advised us on timing to be most cost-effective. He was also very proactive in making adjustments to schedule and plans, and in communicating about certain actions that we would need to take. As with all major contracted jobs, I would suggest making sure you remain in close contact with the team you work with to ensure you're on the same page on any changes to cost/timing, but that is a general comments, and Mike worked with us closely (and very patiently!) to ensure we fully understood everything that was a change in scope, and why it was needed. The mason and landscaping teams at MF are also incredibly professional and just really nice guys. I would highly recommend working with MF Landscape on any major projects you have: they aren't the cheapest but are reasonable and it will be done right. And we've had neighbors that we've met for the first time coming up to tell us how great our yard looks, it's truly a night-and-day difference.

I have worked with Mike's team for a 3+ years for lawn maintenance and most recently a backyard remodel with a pool and they did a phenomenal job and took small details into their own hands to make the backyard look better than we could have directed them. Well done and very high quality.
