Truly an all-around great experience! Mike worked around our schedules and met with us to go over specs and even at the stone yard to look at stones and talk over options. He was always responsive to our questions (often emailing back within a couple hours!) and knowledgeable about the latest and greatest patio options. His crew was super- professional, friendly and were careful to take safety precautions as they installed our patio during the Covid outbreak.

This is my first year switching over all of my yard needs to MF Landscape & Design. They just completed the best spring clean up I have ever had. My yard was littered with sticks and debris from the winter but once complete it was beautiful. Leaves were blown deep (!!) into the woods where allowed and everything else was taken away. Even my raised deck was blown clean and the street in front, storm drains, along curbs, was perfect. There was a lot of pride in their work and my yard reflects that. Great team to deal with.

My front yard was in dire need of an update. MF Landscape and Design worked with me to develop a landscape plan and make it happen.

Mike (the owner) and Gino (the designer) came out, looked at my yard and came back with a plan to give my yard much needed curb appeal. The plan included both hardscaping and landscaping. Demolition and removal of dated concrete stairs/walkway, removal of overgrown bushes, and the transplanting of bushes I wanted to keep was just the start.

Three custom-built NE fieldstone retaining walls (with landscape lighting) were built to showcase new planting beds. The foundation of my home was covered using the same custom-built NE fieldstone. The level of detail and precision is unbelievable. True craftsmanship by the masons.

Once the masonry work was complete, 46 new plants filled the new planting beds. Ornamental grasses, azaleas, hydrangeas, holly bushes, and other plants have brought color to the space. The beds were edged and mulched, and the lawn areas hydroseeded. And in two weeks, what was once just dirt and weeds is now a lawn.

It took 6 weeks from the day of demolition to the finished work. The crew worked diligently every day. I could easily tell they care about their work and the finished product. I am including before and after pictures.

MF Landscaping was fantastic! The backyard of our 8 year-old house was never properly graded by the builder and had no irrigation. MF Landscaping graded the yard, removed all rocks, spread loam, irrigated, laid sod, and added flower and planting beds. Their work was efficient and meticulous. The team worked tirelessly every moment they were here and were very friendly and gracious to us. The backyard went from a rocky slope with mostly weeds and some grass to a beautifully manicured grass yard we could be proud of in less than a week! So happy we brought MF in and can’t recommend them highly enough!!

My elderly relative's yard had been completely neglected for at least 3 years and was horribly overgrown. MF Landscaping did a phenomenal job bringing it back to its earlier state of being neat and orderly. I found the office staff to be very helpful and responsive right from the start when I reached out for help, and found the Property Maintenance Manager, Andre Fernandes, to be knowledgeable, efficient, and patient (I had many questions!) throughout the process.

I had MF Landscaping fill, grade, and hydroseed a lot of my yard and I had two masonry projects: a stairwell up from the basement door to grade level and a new sidewalk in front. All of the work was top notch. The masonry was particularly notable for being very well constructed and very attractive. The crew was friendly, helpful, and receptive to my (few) comments. I am delighted with the work.

We started working with Mike at the start of a new pool project, and he helped us to fully transform our backyard. MF did all of our hardscaping - including pavers around our pool, a new firepit and seating wall, and an outdoor kitchen/bar with cabinetry, a sink, and fridge. The team also did all of the landscape design, lighting, sod installation and planting, they rebuilt our irrigation system, and they built a drainage solution that helped us comply with the town's lot coverage restrictions.
Outside of the impeccable work by the team, Mike helped us manage the 18 month+ project, and was so flexible as we were hit with issues and many delays from the pool company. The project ended up being very complex with multiple vendors involved (MF + pool company, builder of pool house, deck builder, plumber, electrician, sound system technician, fencing company, land surveyers). Mike was instrumental in helping to keep things moving, and really helped us to understand all the moving parts. As the project went on, when it was MF's turn to complete something, we always knew they would be there to do the work asap (unlike other vendors who kept us waiting - at times for weeks).
While the work went on and our backyard was incomplete, Mike always helped us get things in decent condition if we had upcoming company or a party to get through. His team was amazing - they spent SO much time in our backyard, and they were always so respectful and pleasant. Mike and team are really talented - we really didn't know what was possible until we got Mike involved, and we could not be happier with the end result.

Paul Smith Landscaping has been great! We’ve been working with Paul for a year now, and our lawn has completely transformed. He just wrapped up our spring cleanup, including mulching, and everything looks fantastic.
