Constraction reviews in Waltham, Massachusetts

Vista Hardscape did an absolutely amazing job on my patio! The quality of the work exceeded all my expectations — clean lines, solid craftsmanship, and beautiful attention to detail. Raff is the man you want handling your project. He was professional, responsive, and made sure every part of the job was done right. I couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend Vista Hardscape for anyone looking to transform their outdoor space!

I have nothing but glowing praise to give the Vista team.

When working through a backyard project to level and build several retaining walls we ran into issues and felt more comfortable bringing in experts to complete the work. I interviewed 14 different vendors, eventually selecting Vista. They were the ONLY vendor to dig into all of the nuances of the project, taking the time to build full proposals including suggestions and research they had done above and beyond what we discussed. They (Gus and Raf) even came back out to the property a second time to triple-check measurements and walk us through their first thoughts, and then scheduled video conferences to validate their understandings and share the planned proposals.

Through every step of the process they have been communicative, clear and open with plans, timelines and any roadblocks. They worked hand in hand with the building department, ensuring that every step of the project was documented with photos and videos, and that updates were shared consistently. When we ran into a few issues with questions about permits (all stemming from our own attempt to do the work ourselves originally) they were strong partners who helped us through the process, making us feel supported in a very stressful situation, and guided the conversations to resolution.

Both Raf and Gus were at our property almost daily working closely with the hardscapers and landscapers to make sure every detail was to spec, and again continued to keep us involved in each step of the process to make sure they were delivering results that we would be happy with. I could not have asked for a better company to work with.

We'll certainly continue to call Vista for any work that we need done and are already planning our next project!

I couldn’t be happier with the work Vista Hardscape did on our outdoor project. They were easy to work with, communicated clearly, and truly cared about doing things the right way. The craftsmanship is excellent and the space looks amazing. Highly recommend Vista Hardscape if you want a company that takes pride in their work.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Vista Hardscape, and I could not be more impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, Rafael and Gus (the owner) were an absolute joy to work with. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to accommodate my needs were truly exceptional.

During the planning stage, they came out multiple times to ensure they fully understood my vision, and they were more than happy to make adjustments as needed. Their flexibility and communication were top-notch, making the entire process seamless and stress-free.

The work itself was completed smoothly and efficiently, and the end result exceeded my expectations. The crew was meticulous, professional, and left the site spotless after each workday, a testament to their pride in their work.

What truly sets Vista Hardscape apart is their competitive pricing for the scope of work and their pride in the work they do. Gus and his team were always easily reachable, promptly responding to my questions and concerns before and during the project. Their subcontractors were equally professional and worked well together, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality finish.

In short, Vista Hardscape delivered an outstanding project from start to finish. If you are looking for a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused hardscape company, look no further! I wholeheartedly recommend Vista Hardscape for any project, you won't be disappointed!

Vista Hardscape did an incredible job adding a beautiful patio in our backyard. We had a bit of a challenging situation with a steep hill in our backyard. Vista had a creative vision for how to make it work. Throughout the whole process, they were extremely professional and easy to work with. We are so happy with the outcome and would wholeheartedly recommend Vista Hardscape to anyone looking to transform their backyard!

Eric installed a patio and sod for me almost a decade ago, Labor Day 2011. In May 2021 it still looks great.

We were very fortunate to find Lopez Masonry.
These guys were very professional and worked so incredibly hard. My mom commented on how quiet and clean these guys were.
They repaired her stairs which were literally fallen apart. Now my mom's stairs looks brand new.
Such wonderful craftsmanship!!

We are very grateful and pleased with Lopez Masonry and would highly recommend them.
Thank you so much...

Carlos did a great job on my front steps, and replaced my walkway with beautiful blue stone. Work was done professionally, and on time. He also had some good suggestions, and his team worked tirelessly. I’d hire him again in a minute.

Carlos responded immediately to a small walkway job and had a quote and timeline on day of site visit. Had some recommendations for me that we discussed and decided on. He and his crew came at the scheduled time and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend this professional crew for any of your paving needs.

We hired Carlos to replace our stair treads and repair some damaged concrete. Carlos responded to my enquiry, visited our yard and gave us a price very quickly and the work was complete within about a week. Carlos was very communicative via text which was really helpful. Overall we would highly recommend Lopez Masonry. Thanks, Carlos!

Carlos and his team did a great job. In particular they were conscientious about the work, patient with our timeline and questions, and offered professional advice as needed. The costs were very reasonable too.

Carlos and his crew did a fantastic job on the patio and granite stairs in our back yard. They also resurfaced our front entry way and it now has more curb appeal. Their price is reasonable and the quality of work is great. I would highly recommend him to others.

Carlos has a quality that is lacking in many contractors nowadays. Responsiveness. He responded right away with direct answers. His team was very courteous, professional and did a great job for the steps. Price was reasonable and they cleaned up well after completion. I would recommend highly Carlos.

Carlos and his crew did great work! We needed one set of old, crumbling concrete steps to be demolished and replaced, and we were very impressed with the results. We also had another set of steps with old, painted wood installed on top of concrete. Carlos removed the wood, spruced up the concrete, and added beautiful stone steps where the wood had previously been. The results turned out fantastic, and we would highly recommend Lopez Masonry for future projects!

Carlos did a great job repairing my bluestone walkway and replacing a broken step. He returned my message almost immediately, showed up within a day to do an estimate and completed the work when he said he would. He texted me frequently during the process to let me know he was on schedule which was much appreciated. Price was very reasonable and quality of work was excellent. Carlos will now be my “go to” guy for all of my future masonry needs.

Carlos and his team were professional, came on time, left work areas clean and never rushed in answering my many questions. Repairs to my stone wall, front walk and driveway were done quickly much to my relief as it was a safety issue. Great job, thank you.

Carlos and his crew came to our house in December when no other contractors were willing to the work. In less than a week he remove a rotting deck and railroad tie retaining wall. His crew were friendly, efficient and meticulous. The job was done just in time for our new tenants. We would highly recommend him.

We just completed a very successful project with Lopez Masonry and Concrete. They rebuilt two sets of stone steps, repointed two brick driveway columns, and replaced the broken concrete at the front of the garage stalls with pavers.

Carlos and his teams were pleasant, on-time, and cleaned up the worksite at the end of each day. Their craftsmanship is excellent. It was a pleasure to work with them on these projects!

Carlos Lopez is a true pleasure to deal with. He returns calls promptly, schedules estimates immediately, his rates are quite reasonable, and his crew does wonderful work in the most timely manner.
