AJ and Future Energy Solar were excellent to work with. I prefer to take time and deeply research projects like this, especially when the technical elements are so important and the field is changing. AJ was patient and thorough from start to finish and he clearly emphasizes customer service. He was honest and upfront about the equipment proposed and took time to answer all of my questions. We ended up with REC panels and Enphase microinverters and the system has been performing very nicely ~4 months in following PTO. The installation was smooth and efficient, and his team was able create not only a working system, but a visually appealing one too.

We started with a quote on Energysage for a SolarEdge system with REC panels, and he was able to work with me when I changed my mind and wanted Enphase Microinverters instead. I've had my current system for about 6 months without any significant issues except one that was found and fixed before it went online initially by the installer.

Biggest issue I had during the project was the time it took to get local permitting (Utility approvals went pretty quickly once they had everything, but my town didn't give final approvals until about 6 months later). This is not the fault of the installer, this is a known problem of getting home solar in MA, so be aware that even with all the paperwork in, approvals needed before work is allowed can be glacially slow, but once everything was approved, everything was up and running in a couple of weeks with one exception that was, again, due to town inspections/permitting. We submitted everything in March, and didn't get to start installing until September the same year, and weren't able to start using the system until December. So be prepared for a long wait regardless of which installer you use.

My experience with this company was great. AJ was very knowledgeable and explained almost everything clearly and succinctly, and was very on top of updates and whenever Eversource would ask for some new piece of information or documentation they forgot they needed to ask us for. (AJ forwarded pretty much all of the relevant emails from the utility to us so we were kept abreast of approvals)

I haven't had an issue with the system yet, so I haven't had an opportunity to see how well they respond to issues after install, but I'm pretty happy with this company and would happily refer people to them if they were also planning to get solar for their homes.

I interviewed a few people/companies to purchase solar panels but AJ was the first person who didn’t feel like a sleazy salesperson. He answered all my questions and gave me a reasonable price. When it came time to do the work he was reliable, fast, and efficient. He helped us get set up with everything online and now we pay almost nothing for electricity and even make money off our solar panels!

AJ Reis and the Future Energy Solar team did a fantastic job helping my family go solar. We live in Wakefield, MA which has a municipally - owned utility with different requirements and rebate programs than the larger investor owned utilities in Massachusetts. AJ has a thorough understanding of the paperwork and program in Wakefield and got everything approved very efficiently. The equipment is top-notch and comes with a very strong warranty due to their status as a pro installer with REC. The interconnection and installation was completed in one day and the aesthetics were really good. AJ's electrical team did a nice job with the external conduit runs, keeping them minimally visible. The solar array looks great too. The system has been up and running since mid-May without any issues at all and I have full production monitoring in the Enphase app. AJ was highly responsive throughout the process and even provided a great roofer recommendation that I used to replace my roof before installing the solar system.

After receiving many quotes via Energy Sage, my wife and I communicated with three of the vendors. Only Future Energy Solar seemed to employ people who could read and respond to the actual questions in the email rather than just resend a quote (in one case for a different address!).

We worked with Adam (sales rep) and AJ (technical project manager) and, despite a problem with our financing resulting in a three month delay while they waited patiently on us to work with our financing company to get things done, they were responsive and helpful the entire way through.

I used the feature through national grid to find a solar company to install panels on my house. After getting 10 different bids I narrowed it down to 3 companies that were located in Massachusetts and had great reviews.

I decided to go with Future Energy because they were the only company that went the extra step. When I contacted the 3 companies, Adam from future was the only one to actually come to my house and talk to me. He did a great job explaining solar and asked what I was looking for and easily adjusted how many panels I wanted. The other 2 companies just wanted to play phone tag. Adam also did a great job explaining financing solar panels and was always readily available to help answer any additional questions and also send any info the bank needed to complete the financing.

After 2-3 months (once products were in) AJ and his team came out and installed the 22 panels in one day, and honestly didn’t even take the whole day. The process is a little loud and there is a lot going on, but you have to remember this is a construction project. There was even a minor incident where a worker on the roof accidentally drop his drill and cracked my railing on my porch.

When I addressed the issue with AJ, he immediately took ownership and said the company would pay for the railing and someone can even come up and install it. Honesty and accountability is a difficulty quality to find in companies today.

I would absolutely use Future again if I had too. It was nothing but a positive experience. Their salesman and foreman were both informative, easy to talk to, and always asked if I had any concerns.

November 2021 we decided to install solar panels on our home. We reached out on Energy Sage and also through Home Depot for estimates. We ultimately chose Future Energy Solar. We were initially drawn to them because they were the only company to offer a package that would meet 100% of our energy needs. But once meeting the owner AJ Reis it was an easy decision. He was clear and knowledgeable and motivated. He had our 42 panel system installed before the end of December, ensuring that we would receive the tax incentives offered. It was the best decision. We have not paid an electric bill all year!

I had a great experience with AJ. The best part of Future Energy Solar is the customer service. He’s always available to answer questions or perform minor fixes after the initial installation. I’ve heard nightmares with Tesla customer service. I’ve had no major issues since our install in 2021 when we put on an almost 15kw system. Very happy that I did as I moved the house to all electric and electric prices continue to sky rocket thus solar has been one of the smartest investments we’ve made with the house. 53mwh since that team even with an east facing roof shaded in the early morning.

Future Energy solar installed my 14 kw system and the experience was amazing. AJ and his team where quick professional and well priced. After we got the permit they had the panels up in two days and his team made the panels look ascetically pleasing on the house.

We used Future Energy Solar in 2023 to install an approx 10kW system on our house. AJ was great to work with. His team was flexible and were able to place the inverter where it would be out of sight. We used EnergySage to compare prices after getting AJ's quote. They had close to the best price. AJ was responsive about helping us set-up REC payments. Overall a solid experience - I would use them again.

AJ did an amazing job with solar installation. My journey started few months ago by reaching out to around 20 installers. Most of them could not give a quote since the house was a new construction and not showing up in their satellite map software. Some of them gave a vague estimate but they were not installing the equipment (REC brand panels + Enphase micro inverters) I was looking for. AJ(owner of future energy)was the only installer who was in-person at house to discuss the details and provide with a quote with the panels I was looking for. His quote ended up the best I have in-terms of price and installation timeline. He did the installation within 2 months and active after a month.He took care of all the paperwork on time and was present in person on the days of installation and inspection which is not the case with some of the other installers as we deal with only sales people over phone. If you are a nerd like me, you can even suggest some design changes as well. AJ even installed slightly better panels than agreed in contract without any markup. Since AJ works hard and handles everything at his company on his own, sometimes there might be delays but that’s not a big deal. He was always a text message away when I had questions. I would highly suggest Future Energy for solar installation.

Future Energy Solar installed my 11 kW system at a very competitive price, with excellent quality and workmanship. The panels look perfectly aligned, with well-concealed wiring, and the production is great - it was perfectly sized to my requirements and performs exactly as estimated (maybe even slightly better!). AJ Reis, the owner, was in constant communication with me throughout the process as he navigated the town permitting, working with the energy company, and finally getting the meter installed and turned on. He is always available to answer questions post-installation as well. He also installed an electric car charger for me! Would definitely recommend!
