Emre the owner of BESC and his crew are fantastic. They showed up quickly, fixed my heat immediately, and charged me a fair price.

Over the decades, I've gone through several HVAC & plumbing companies. Sadly, my favorite HVAC tech & plumber retired, so a year ago, I went back to one of the "bigger" firms, thinking they'd have more techs available for emergencies; unfortunately, when I had problems, they took days and multiple visits to fix the issues — what I assumed was par for the course, pandemic and all.

During a recent snowstorm, the heat in one of my units cut out, and temperatures were forecast to drop to single digits. I scrambled trying to get the issue resolved. The son of the big firm diagnosed the problem and told me parts would have to be ordered from Canada — and then he never followed up. I called his company back a few times without resolution.

So that's when I called Emre at BESC and explained the problem. Within 2 hours, a BESC tech arrived at my property. It turned out that the other company's diagnosis was incorrect. BESC fixed the heat and charged me hundreds less than what the other company quoted me. BESC's exemplary service really wowed me, and I plan to sign up for their annual maintenance plan for all of my properties — home & business!

Awful company, did not resolve my issue and took payment anyways. They charged me nearly $500 to troubleshoot a system, said they fixed it due to a blocked return and left. Then the issue returned hours later. The issue was not resolved, and they blamed the CUSTOMER!!! for not being available. Didn't realize they needed a babysitter. If you want men and not boys to be working on your furnace, and people who can resolve the problem quickly, go elsewhere.

After this whole incident, and him reading my review, he contacted me and threatened to sue me for tarnishing his reputation. Tell me this guys out of business... He should be humiliated accepting compensation without repairing the furnace. And no I don't live in California, and it took me 45 minutes because of traffic for a typical 15 min commute, like no one in the world has been hit with unexpected traffic. What a dolt.

I have used BESC for the past 5 years from initial installation to annual maintenance. Truly appreciate their focus on doing a quality job and being reliable. I would recommend Emre’s team without any hesitation.

Emery (I believe the owner?) and another gentleman came the same day (very happy about that). They did a fantastic job, and they were very polite and courteous. They even tried to keep the sound down as they knew we had a sleeping baby in the other room. Price was reasonable as well.

I had one of my A/C units in a tight space break last week. Water was filling up in the tray underneath because of a clogged condensate pipe. BESC came the next day, and repiped the whole thing, and I was very pleased. I have been using them for at least 10 years, and have always been happy with the service. This is my first review, and should have written positively years ago!

I have used Boston equipment service company for all my heating needs for several years now, and they are excellent. Prompt, professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I got two sets of heat pumps from Ventrix. The sales rep is very professional, communicative and punctual, and followed through the whole project with great attention to details. Jake worked on my 2010s Goodman furnace this past 2025-26 season including diagnostics and gas valve and control board replacement as the furnace was failing in the dead of a harsh winter. Recently, he also redesigned the geometry of ductwork in a tight space, including the installation of additional returns to solve a huge quality of life issue with excessively loud fresh air intake turbulence that has been a problem since my condo was built in 2015.

Easily the best HVAC professional I have worked with in the now more than 10 years I have owned instead of rented in Boston. Knowledgeable, responsive, easy to work with, and with reasonable, up-front pricing that other larger companies in the area with huge overhead and hard upselling techniques would be hard-pressed to match.

We had a great experience with our HVAC contractor on our new construction home in Burlington. They were easy to work with, always responsive, and really cared about doing things the right way.
Everything was installed neatly and on time, and our system runs great. You can tell they take pride in their work. We’re really happy we chose them and would absolutely recommend them!
