My house was running out of hot water. So I asked these guys to pay a visit and propose solutions. Over the phone this company agreed to give me proposal upon inspection for $69.99. The techs showed up and proposed that I may install an electric hot water tank. I asked to send the proposal via email and they agreed.

Here is what happens next: one of the techs showed me in his iPad that for this sole visit I need to pay them $480. I have seen a lot of bizarre things as I myself is in the engineering/construction business but to see these old car sales men at my own place is a first. I made them to call their bosses to figure it out. Finally paid them $69.99 Would never ever recommend such snake oil salesmen!

$8,000 is what they quoted me for a water heater! This is insanity! Nothing fancy no bells and whistles just the labor fee. Asked the gentleman how much of that fee went to him. No surprise it goes to the owner who is never around. I wouldn’t use them for Ben if I had 4 feet of water in my basement.

Steve L. did great carpentry work in our home. He arrived promptly as scheduled. He removed an area of wainscoting for a plumbing issue, replaced it expertly, and ensured it matched perfectly. He was very concerned with our satisfaction and a job well done. Great work!

Brendan went above & beyond the call of duty.

He patiently explained to me the process of treating, removing a mildewed rug and eventually replacing the rug. He went over rug samples told me the different kinds.

Brendan dealt with a mildewed rug and the cement floor beneath it. Plus, whitening up a stained piece of ceiling.

He removed & then put back all my heavy furniture from that room (with a little help from the rug installer). He made sure that I was ok with the 3rd party rug installer. And, after his shift, made an extra/second trip to Home Depot for the metal threshold strip--that the rug installer never bothered to provide. Brendan drove back to my home & installed it. He didn't leave until he had vacuumed that room, feeling guilty & embarrassed that the rug installer didn't finish dusting.

I have been a Pann customer for 15 yrs--using almost all of its departments for my place. Each tech or contractor is competent, understanding, and cleans up after himself. They keep up with new regulations and skills. They truly care about their customers. It has been worth the price.

This is not a knock on their service. These guys show up and do what they’re supposed to. However, they’re predatory and gouging small business owners in hard times. I was charged $2400 for a warranty repair that took them 3 hours at most. $800/hour to fix a heat pump. Cut it out. Shameful.

This is a review for a call I placed on a Sunday morning for a plumbing issue. I was home recuperating from an accident and when I called Pann to state my plumbing problem, Mike the job dispatcher called back almost immediately. I apologized for calling on a Sunday but, as I’m a member of their Plan, he sai there was no worries. Matt D arrived during the given time and was very cordial and cleared my plumbing problem. He was efficient, thorough, checking after he cleared the clog to make sure everything was operating correctly and cleaning up. I have been a very satisfied customer of Pann for many years and wholeheartedly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

Rich and his partner did a great job in quick time, couldn’t ask for more. They arrived, gave me an estimate for my broken garbage disposal, picked up the replacement for me and did the repair all in one morning. Services like this are never “cheap” but I was able to save some good money by joining their membership, sure to be worth it. I highly recommend these guys if you’re looking for a no-hassle service experience.

I was helping a friend with his furnace in a new home in JP that stopped working. We called Pann and they were able to come within 24hours and had the unit fixed in just a few hours, including time to get parts. Tim was super friendly and responsive, took the time to show me the problem with the unit and showed me the fixes he made. Very happy with the service provided by Pann and Tim. Will certainly be using them in the future.

Steve quickly saw the problem with my furnace and fixed it in no time. Steve was professional and courteous, explaining what the problem was in an understanding manner.

The team of Kevin, Steve, and Eddy reconstructed the ceilings in my bath and kitchen as phase 2 of the work to repair a plumbing leak. They were extremely professional, the workmanship was excellent -- it blends in seamlessly, and they explained the steps of the process so I knew what to expect. Maybe the best part is that they set up in a way to isolate the work area from the rest of the house to prevent dust from going where it shouldn't, and they did a great job of cleaning up when done. That counts for a lot with me and so I highly recommend them.

This is the second time that I've used Pann Home Services within the past two months. The first time, the team repaired a kitchen garbage disposal that apparently was backed up from having something lodged in it. After a subsequent leak, today I learned that the interior of the aged disposal was rusted, and needed to be entirely replaced. After having mentioned that I prefer not to use the disposal whenever possible, the lead plumber provided me with a lesser-priced option that would still meet my needs well. Furthermore, Pann did not charge a dispatch fee a second time, and offered a $100.00 product discount due to repeat business. I would add that today's team (Josh & Clara) included a female trainee, which also pleased me. Not only does Pann consistently provide exceptional service, it also recognizes that diversity matters!

Rich T and Dan replaced my water heater a few weeks ago, successfully navigating the complexity of a very tight utility closet. They were efficient, friendly and did an amazing job cleaning up after they were done! I would highly recommend Pann not just for Rich and Dan but also for the whole team including scheduling and dispatch.

We recently moved into a new home which has a gas fireplace. After researching our options, we reached out to Pann Home Services to have annual maintenance performed on the unit. They were very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The technician provided insight into future repairs that we should consider down the road, and was able to answer all questions I had. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have a gas fireplace serviced.

Very impressed with Pann's highly professional service. Also, helped me understand what was actually the problem with my furnace/air conditioner and gave me a plan for repair. I had another company work on the same problem but Pann had a much better solution. I will definitely call them again for future work. I am very happy to have found them before winter fully arrives. I have been a client of Pann Home Services for several years. Recently, they installed a new heating system in my 200-year old home on Beacon Hill and did a superb job. I remain extremely impressed with the professionalism, skill and courtesy shown by every individual in this company, from the technicians working in my home to the administrative staff on the phone. Every concern is addressed and every question is answered in a timely and responsive manner. Pann is an excellent company and I recommend them highly. I shall never go anywhere else for my plumbing needs and neither should you.

I was able to get next-day service, was very glad of that. Matt and Austin were both great -- clear, helpful, pleasant and professional. Matt replaced a very very old toilet with a separate, raised tank with a new type, making repairs and adjustments to complete the job neatly and simply. Cost and service info was clear and quite helpful -- they were also able to add drain cleaning to today's job, which was very much needed, and all jobs were completed efficiently. Great clean up job, too.

Asked THREE times in person for a call back. I’m flexible with scheduling, just walk around the corner to my place and let me pay you... but no he’s not interested.

They are EXTREMELY RUDE!! I called just to ask a few simple questions and i got the coldest response. I was told that i could "leave my number and Mr. Sullivan will give me a call back if he is interested." I was not able to ask any question without being rudely interrupted with the response quoted above. When i called back a different woman answered and i let her know about how rude the other woman was, she basically told me she does not want to hear it. I thought the customer was always right. Very poor customer service!!
