I used them for my MassSaves home energy assessment and all they wanted to look at was selling me their air source heat pump, completely ignored the exterior envelope insulation needs of the home to the point I contacted MassSaves to reset so I could get another service group to come out.

Energy Monster has done a lot of work for myself, family and friends. The process was simple, the workers were on time, polite and cleaned up right away. I have had them insulate 3 of my properties and they have done a dozen or more and each time with glowing reviews!

Energy Monster performed our MassSave audit, MassSave insulation work (recommended by the audit), and a 10kW Solar installation all within a 3-month time period (Nov 2018-Jan 2019). All three projects went well and we are very happy with the quality of work and all of the employees that we've dealt with.

The Solar installation was very well executed with almost no exposed conduit, clean wiring, detailed system monitoring, and more attractive (and efficient) panels. We also had an EV charger installed as part of the package. I was able to work with their designer to balance aesthetics with efficiency and am quite happy with the results!

We are looking forward to saving lots of money on oil and electricity for years to come! After our first full month with our solar system, we already had a credit on our National Grid bill.

We had insulation installed via MassSave. Wattson Home Solutions did a great job. Everything was done in a very timely manner. We are very happy with our new insulated attic and basement!

I can't say enough good things about this company! They took care of heat pump installation so fast, and the first year I've used the heat pumps I've already saved money! When I had an issue they were prompt and resolved it immediately. The installation team is professional and courteous. very nice , knowledgeable young men. Jose was a superstar.

The Wattson team has designed and installed both a 10.6kw solar array and a 10.6kw battery backup system for our home. The team is very skilled and completed both projects on time and on budget. Could not be happier with the process and outcomes. 5 stars!

They failed to close my work permit for solar panels from last year. Even after reminding them 2 months ago , the town building permit is still open.

The team at Energy Monster, starting with Kevin, and all of the office staff and crew members installing, were very professional and responsive. They go above and beyond with everything. If one team member is on vacation, other responded to my queries. I give them more than 5 stars and highly recommend their services. Courtney & her team were super professional & efficient, from the Mass Save audit during which Jim pointed out items that had never been mentioned in previous audits to the quick & thorough work that was made of installation of insulation in our attic & weatherproofing all entrances. Purchased Solar in 2020 from Energy Monster. They did an awesome job, price was competitive, install was super neat and the panels look great on the house. Sales reps were knowledgeable, and felt like I got the best value for the system I purchased. Highly recommend!!

Jose at Energy Monster came with his team to install some mini splits in our apartment as requested by our landlord. He and his team were respectful, kind, and thorough. They made sure to clean up after themselves, knock when coming in and out, and overall were just very friendly throughout the install!

The guys who put in the heat pumps (Jose, Manny, Angel and Jorge) were wonderful. Courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company to anyone. Jim is great - one of the best contractors I've ever worked with. Thorough, helpful and patient. Very happy

These guys are the best. I recently had a new roof installed and the lead installer Dylan found a leak from the chimney. Instead of walking away from the job, he went on the roof (in the rain) and fixed the leak so he could finish the install. This is the company you want.

I used Energy Monster to install 3 ductless mini-splits in my house. The installation was done quickly and efficiently, the installation team was knowledgable and friendly, and they worked hard to ensure I got the rebate for the installation. They also did a free energy audit that was very helpful. I would recommend Energy Monster to anyone looking to make their house more energy efficient.

The energy audit I had scheduled proceeded without any issues. The technician was courteous and performed his duties adequately. However, despite being promised a comprehensive report by the end of the day, I did not receive it. After waiting for about a week, I attempted to contact Energy Monster through their online email system. I received a reply, but the report was still not provided; I was merely informed that someone would reach out to me shortly. Another week passed without any report or follow-up call. I emailed them again and received a response containing the general manager's contact information, with the assurance that he would get in touch with me. Unfortunately, I never received a call or email from the manager. It was only after I threatened to leave negative reviews that I finally received a call, which I missed, but I promptly returned the call and left a message. The following day, I still had not heard back from the general manager. Frustrated, I decided to follow through on my intention to write a review. I strongly advise against using this company for any energy consultations or audits, as my experience has been extremely disappointing. There are numerous other reputable companies with better reviews and superior customer service. I am very dissatisfied with Energy Monster. To avoid unnecessary frustration, I recommend choosing a different company.

Update (12-19-20): Two years have passed since this negative experience, and I have recently discovered that this company failed to complete and assess the entire energy audit. I subsequently had another energy assessment conducted by a much more competent company, which revealed all the tasks that Energy Monster neglected. For example, they did not seal similar air leaks in the basement or attic, nor did they insulate the first six feet of hot water piping. Additionally, I did not receive the energy-efficient LED light bulbs. The technician from Energy Monster spent a mere 45 minutes in my home, while the new company dedicated 3 to 4 hours to sealing leaks and thoroughly assessing energy deficiencies. My experience with Energy Monster was truly abysmal.

Good company and good work. 5 stars for all the workers for sure. They were all fantastic, especially Kyle and Edgar, very likeable and easy to talk to. We got our home insulated and had a mini split installed. Work was also done very well. Only reason for 4 stars was the scheduling. Our wall insulation was postponed because of rain and instead of being scheduled for the next sunny day they put us out over a week later. Not sure how that scheduling makes any sense but not too big a deal. Either way we're very happy with the end result and would definitely recommend energy monster especially if you can get into the home MVP program, great incentives.

Wattson HS (Monster Energy) installed Solar panels at our place. They said it will take 4 months, and they were done in 4 months, and a month later city permit and Net Metering were done. Kevin was my go to person. I asked him maybe a 100 questions and he replied to me within 5 to 10 minutes. Kyle handled all the major stuff. I talked to several installers before zeroing in on Monster. They gave me exactly what I was looking for QCells paired with Enphase IQ8A. Everyone else was giving me different inverters. Secondly their price was the best. Thirdly they accepted payment with credit card. Most others wanted checks. I highly recommend them!!

Had this company do insulation in my attic and my exterior walls, was told that the wood clap boards sidings had to be removed for them to blow the insulation which was understandable but instead the contractor who showed up to do the job broke every board in half, and used glue to put the board together, VERRY UNPROFESSIONAL, complaint about it,haven’t heard back, wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone and nails were not picked up

Energy Monster Installers did a great job: Jose and his brother were my installers and they were super thorough, clean, courteous and all around nice people to deal with. They took the time to answer my questions and reviewed the instructions for the unit. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.
