They worked together well and completely our large project in just two days. Summit protected our home during the job, and cleaned up well afterwards. Excellent service!

Summit Point installed a new Roof at the apartment community I manage. This was the third roof that they have replaced for us. Work and communication are great, and done in a timely matter. Levi, the on site supervisor was knowledgeable and present, Richard and Stacey on the back end are always helpful and pleasant to communicate with. We had an unusual job for Summit. We had some significant, woodpecker-caused damage to some of our cedar trim at the top of our chimney that was way too high for me to tackle. Our whole experience with Summit was fantastic - from the quickness of their response to our request for an estimate through the actual repair. Everyone was very professional and pleasant with great follow-through and timely communications. After purchasing an older house, I had the roof inspected to see what repairs might be needed. I had heard about Summit Point through some friends and after scheduling, they were able to come take a look the next day.

Summit Point did a thorough inspection for me on the roof, flashing, attic. They gave me advice on the roof status and how long it might last while avoiding "mechanic" talk on all the small things that might be wrong. They were comparable in price to other quotes and answered all questions and concerns I had.

Roof replacement was scheduled and the team provided great information on details and preparation. The job was complete in a couple of hours and I came home to no mess or cleanup. Overall I am very satisfied with the work

Great experience with Summit Roofing! Dan always did what he said he qa going to do. The production team kept me informed as to when and what was happening. They even sent pictures half way through the job. Great team and excellent workmanship!!

The roof looks good from what we can see from outside (no completed pictures of the project were ever taken, so I have no idea what's going on up there) and the crew worked hard for 12+ hours to get the installation done in 2 days. However, the communication with the team was very poor. Delivery of supplies were left obstructing our back gate and then no communication was provided as to why or when the project would start until I called to ask. The office point of contact, Stacey, is extremely rude and when we called to complain that our attic was left completely demolished with dirt and debris, ruining our attic fan, and also food waste and water bottles left in the attic, she told us tough luck. Tarps were put up to protect the landscaping for picture purposes and then promptly taken down, meaning that expensive landscaping was trampled or crushed and destroyed. I keep finding shingle debris and nails in my yard and garden despite paying for cleanup. The initial inspection phase done by their employee stated that our roof was definitely one hundred percent going to only need a partial redecking (accommodated in the quote), which then suddenly turned into a full redecking and we were charged over 6,000 extra dollars for this. They tried to charge us over 4 grand for extra tear off but since the inspector only found two of the layers, they did take this off after some push back. They also left a giant wire attached to the roof peak from the old ice melt system instead of asking us if we wanted it reinstalled or taken down, so now there is giant wire hanging off the side of my house stuck 100 feet in the air with no way of us getting it down. I am very unhappy with the level of consideration that was given towards our home and the willingness for them to listen to or accommodate any of these concerns. I would be embarrassed to leave a job site in that condition, but they clearly aren't, so I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Overall a good experience. Knowledgeable estimator. Hard-working team got the old shingles off, replaced some OSB boards, new shingles on, skylights replaced, new fan vents, all in a single day. Good protection for windows and outdoor plants (some inadvertant damage), and very good cleanup of site at end of day. Noisy, yes indeed - but got the job done. Gutters were installed by separate team on separate day - a few issues with that were resolved well. Response to follow-up questions and concerns was prompt and effective.

Summit Point roofing was great to work with in finding the source of a minor leak . They promptly sent someone to investigate the source and the repair was made in a timely fashion. They tell it like it is!

Summit Point recently completed a repair around our chimney, along with installation of new gutters. Summit Point was very responsive; both with an estimate and completing the job when the time came. The team was courteous and efficient; the quality of work was great. I will use them again.

This company had a quick response time with their sales representative, Dan Tresslar. He met with us immediately and did an inspection of our attic immediately so we knew what we were dealing with. He came back and shared pictures of everything. Afterwords he even dropped samples off for his to pick out at my work, because we couldn’t find a time at home. Then priced out the project. In the meantime and prior I did receive a number of quotes. He was not the cheapest; but was able to give a good price.
We went with them because of Dans details, loyalty to do a good job, reputation (my home owners ins stated they were excellent). Working with the office staff at first was not ideal, however they ended stepping up with the communication and it was good. The look of the roof is great. We also had gutters and a chimney cap put on. All great, so far. The pick up around the house was less than I thought only because Dan stated the were excellent in picking up afterwards, which was only ok.
I would recommend them.

I could not be more happy with the job Summit Point did on my roof. Communication was excellent! All my questions were answered in a knowledgeable and professional way. Was very impressed with the quality of the roof. The crew finished the job in one day and when they left I couldn’t even tell anyone was there. My yard was left spotless. I’d recommend Summit Point to anyone looking for a new, high quality roof.

Joe Westra's Summit Point Roofing Team replaced our ~4500-4700 SF 20-yr shingle roof (original owners) in May 2025 with CertainTeed Landmark Pro shingles, aluminum valleys, and hip vents (to establish proper airflow and ventilation). They also replaced our existing gutter helmets with gutter screens to ensure shingle/watertight integrity. During their initial assessment they identified that the airflow/vent system was not installed correctly by the builder and that the ductwork for our master bath ceiling exhaust fan was not even connected (it was simply lying in the attic) and other ductwork was misrouted - they corrected our ductwork. Prior to accepting the work proposal, Joe personally traveled to our home 3-4 times to bring us large shingle samples and answer our questions. He also provided us with pictures and locations of houses in our area that his company had completed recently so we could look at the shingles on the roofs. Ashley (Client Service Coordinator) was very professional and helpful throughout the process, and after completion, whenever we had questions or needed copies of documents/pics. We were in constant communication with Summit throughout the process and they provided before/during/after pics for review and comparison. Our new roof looks exactly as we invisioned, and we would definitely use Summit for any future roofing needs.

I would recommend Summit to anyone needing roofing work done. Stephan on the sales side was extremely responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. The project coordinators (Ben and Stacey) were very proactive on reaching out for project scheduling and reminders. The whole project was done in one day - the crew showed up right away in the morning and was finished before the end of the work day. We had no damage to any landscaping, and their cleanup job was extremely thorough. Roof itself looks great, and they sent photos partway through the project to keep us informed on progress as well as some decking that needed replacement. Overall, very pleased with the quality of their work, the friendliness of their sales and production staff, and the competitiveness of their bid compared to other companies. 10/10 would work with them again.

Summit Point Roofing did a great job replacing our roof. Rich and Chris were very helpful in getting the quote for the roof and skylight. The installers wore fabric shoes when they entered our property which was really appreciated. They cleaned up everything - we couldn't find even one nail!

Overall, we were really happy with the process and the quality of work. The GAF shingles look great. Definitely recommend Summit Point Roofing.

Summit point roofing did a great job installing our new roof. We went with their new GAF Solar option and the install was quick and professional. The install crew was especially considerate and attentive. Their options and prices were good. We were especially lucky to get the solar shingles option as this was a new offer for them. We did find some nails on the ground after install that we had to clean up, but that is expected with any roofing job. Just be sure to check the next few days after install.

We utilized Summit Point to install a new roof in the early spring of 2017. We were not impressed by the crew at the time as they kept missing their dumpster, destroying a chunk of our fencing (photo). To their credit, the salesman comped us by not charging us for several feet of new wood sheathing. We considered the situation rectified and were relatively happy with the end product.

However, over several days after the crew was complete, we kept finding large roofing nails all around our yard - one injuring our puppy. The response to this was lackadaisical; they took several more days to come back to our property to sweep for nails. To this day, we still find nails time to time.

From there, no complaints. Or so we thought. Found out this past week that a complete lack of caulking around an air vent caused water intrusion over the past five years. Due to the recent heavy rain, this intrusion met its threshold, which culminated in a water-damaged bedroom ceiling (photo). Now we have another Summit Point mess on our hands.

I completely understand that the work happened 5 years ago. And I sure hope the company has improved since then (appears that it has, going off the recent and overall reviews). However, we deeply regret hiring Summit Point for our project. Never again.
